    Fantastic review, purchased my Xgimi Horizon Pro 4K last month for £1200 brand new & I’ve got it displayed on a long throw 150” electric floor rising Vividstorm ALR Anti-Light-Reflection projector screen & it’s awesome, well worth the money⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Great review. I bought the Horizon Pro a couple of months ago and love it. I don't have a dedicated room and while the built in sound is great, I added a Vizio sound bar that I use bluetooth from the projector because I prefer the sound coming from the screen. I use a camera tripod for the projector and an inexpensive 100 inch screen. Set up is about 5 minutes. It makes a fast and easy indoor, garage, or outdoor movie night. The 4K is truly jaw dropping.

      How do you find the sound quality from the soundbar when it's connected via Bluetooth? Also can you have the soundbar speaker and the built in speakers in the projector going at the same time for like a surround sound? Cheers.

    I have an XGIMI Horizon Pro 4k and I've disabled its "motion compensation" which eliminates the "soap opera effect" when watching from internal apps (Netflix, Prime etc) or movies on a connected USB drive. When using an external source such as a Roku, Firestick or any HDMI source the problem is still there. It's almost as if the projector's setting ignores HDMI input when it comes to smoothing. And I can't find any settings on these other devices that deal with this issue.

    The c1 have an iput lag of 10.1 ms. Not 1!! You talk about the response time of the screen. Thats crazy fast on every oled screen 🤜🏼👌🏻

    This don’t look too bad and the set up seems super easy but it is what it is for the price. This wouldn’t be aimed at a serious home cinema enthusiast as one of the golden rules in that hobby is to avoid keystone correction at any cost as it diminishes the image quality. For what it is though, it does it’s job pretty well it seems

    • @ItsSamuelJones
      @ItsSamuelJones  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can set it up to avoid keystone correction though if you want the best picture. That being said, It has a great picture even when keystoned

      @@ItsSamuelJones You are correct. I've heard on the Horizon group that the 1080p is great up to around 150" before the 4K really outshines it. I bought the 4K Pro so I really have no reference.

      same here - would love to have an example... Anyway - looks like the competition looks more or less like this
      Xgimi Horizon / Horizon Pro
      Benq X3000i (but in my country more expensive and it's a really big box compared to this horizon)
      Anker Nebula Cosmos Laser 4K (also more expensive than Horizon (unless you paid in advance on their kickstarter) but I like the form factor and the fact it has a grip to carry it around, the lens is covered etc.
      So yeah... I don't think we could find an example. They could be some other projectors but probably more heavier and clunkier that the ones I mentioned above.

    I don't know of any projector that runs Netflix built in/natively. It's a Netflix problem - they do not want multiple screen use so they pretty much banned projectors.
