Nice vid. Thanks. Should have thrown a Luna ELIR-3 in there. It will roll with the LA 5's Illuminator all night long and is actually nicer because you can quickly adjust the power setting from 0.1 mW up to 90 mW. Slave a Luna to any of the Civi PEQ 15's or Dbals and with their 0.7 mW pointers superimposed on the Luna ELIR Illuminator and you are bad to the bone with a fine point that is not all bloomed out. Full power PEQ and Dbal units all have High/High settings and the pointers are all bloomed out unless you run a Neutral Density Filter in front of those pointers. The full power units need a Low/High setting were the pointer is on say 0.7 mW and the Illuminators are running at 45 mW and higher.
I have a Xenide Aex25 searchlight with an 960nm IR filter.. wondering what monocular or rifle scope I can buy without an illuminator..how would you use it?

You should check out the IR illuminator that comes with the Sightmark Wraith Night Scope. You are going to be pleasantly surprised.

Trying to shine a full power laser/Illuminator through a window is going to be a bad time for both your night vision tubes and your eyes.
