    Good work. The inforce serves perfectly as a helmet light, due to the flood it provides. P.s. I thought about getting the raptar but that illum seriously sucks

    So funny story my wife found an old Surefire m1 IR Illuminator. She just though it was a broken flashlight but kept it because her father gave it to her.

    When Surefire x300v IR is active and marking is done, can jet planes, helicopters and fixed thermal cameras see the mark clearly?

    And you can not see this without night vision only visible thru nv ?

      Elian Leal Correct. Unless it’s in the visible setting, you can only see it under night vision devices or digital camera. Near Infrared wavelength is not visible to the human eye.

      Be aware the light is visible only with NVG yes but often with illuminators theirs a red glow that comes out. At a distance its less noticeable but stil visible but up close it totally gives away your position.

      Is it possible to use ski goggles with an IR shield or lens to see the IR flashlight beam? I'm looking for night vision goggles that have more peripheral vision, not so tunneled vision as the night vision goggles have. Or any recommendations on some cheaper night vision where you're using both eyes and you don't have a pair of binoculars strapped to your face? If your using an IR flashlight you have light source obviously, do your goggles have to have a light source also or can you just have an IR lens?

    Was this the WML or WMLX?

    • @jwramp
      @jwramp  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The WMLx is just 2x CR123s instead of 1x right? Probably an X model in that case, but this was back in 2016 so maybe it wasn’t out then. Tough to recall

      Oh. I just looked at the video description, it was definitely a WMLx then. It shows the output values in the description
