Thanks for the stream Shiori! Was really fun, and I got to freshen up my Japanese a bit too. Surprised how much I remembered! It's been a long time since I studied any
Really enjoyed this chill study session. It was nice to just listen to the background while doing some things along side you Shiori. Thank you for the stream!
Thank you for the stream, Shiori! I really enjoyed the comfy learning/productivity stream. I was able to to catch up on some research/work reading and writing, and then was following along with the Japanese studying while working on another model kit. I was able to get quite a bit done! Watching you study and make flash cards takes me back to when I studying a couple of different languages as well, and I think is giving me a bit of motivation to pick-up Japanese again if I have the time. As always, thank you for the hard work Shiorin~ Great work today and I hope you get plenty of rest!
Thank you for letting us in on the cozy little study session! It's been a hot minute since I last sat down and focused on my Japanese studies, so it was fun to freshen up my memory a little and study alongside you! And aye, do your best with all the studying! You'll be fluent in no time if you keep it up!
It was a nice and relaxing stream~ Although I hadn't been able to fully participate in a lot of streams lately, its still nice to have cozy, relaxing time even with VODs. Listening to you study Japanese made me kick back and wanting to learn and be productive! I hadn't been able to touch pen and get to drawing for a while, so I want to get back to it~ Thank you so much for the stream!
Thank you for the chill Japanese learning stream, Shiori! I have learned quite a lot of Japanese today, thanks to you and the Novelites. I'll be using this stream to make flashcards www. These kinds of streams are always so chill and comfy, which makes them one of my favorites. I'm glad we both learned some new stuff today. Take care and rest well, Shiowi!
Thank you for the chill and educational stream Shiori! I'm slowly learning vocabulary from watching you and from paying closer attention to anime! I still need to start learning how to actually write hiragana and katakana though, but watching you write is super encouraging
Thank you for the cozy stream, Shiori! I really enjoy the productivity streams because of how chill and relaxing they are. Plus, it's wonderful to just chat, share stories, and discuss upcoming events and channel stuff. The Japanese studies were enjoyable as well, and your handwriting is excellent. I'm pleased to see that your studies are progressing nicely, and I admire your determination to learn the language. I will be studying Korean soon, and your diligence in your studies is providing me with the motivation I need as I begin my own language studies soon. As always, have a blessed night, Shiori, and rest well
Japanese study sesh, complete! I am glad that you have been trying to stick with the Japanese studying. With time, you going to be fluent yet! Seeing you improve over time will be something I shall look forward to! Thank you for the stream, Shiori~n!
Thank you for the stream and great work today! Hope you’re able to rest your voice and enjoy your evening! I really appreciate you and I’m very proud of you for working so hard!
Great evening stream, Shiori! I just got home from the gym when you starter, so it was relaxing to listen to while I settled for the night! I need to sit down and actually learn more Japanese myself.
This was a comfy and educational stream. Good work on learning some Nihongo. It was nice to learn some new JP words from this stream. Thanks for the Lofi Radio stream, Shiori. See you next stream.
What a comfy stream got a decent bit done at the beginning and then got to learn some Japanese with you. I really appreciate these streams, I get to spend time with my oshi and be productive, win-win
What a cozy and productive stream it was! You did a lot of planning for the upcoming stream, and I'm really excited for the unity stream. I can't wait to see what you come up with. Also, I think it's very cute that you use flashcards and children's books to learn Japanese. It's such a cute way to learn. I should give it a try when I have free time. Other than that, great job Shiori, and see you on the movie stream! Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it to the TF2 stream, but I'm rooting for you in spirit with all my heart. So, see you tomorrow for the final movie night to wrap up superhero month. I honestly love this month with all the fun activities you've planned.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for the fun learning stream Shiori. I know it might be hard to write the kanji out but I am sure you will get the hang of it and that practice makes perfect. I found that writing out the word multiple times when I was learning French helped me with comprehension personally. I hope you are able to rest your voice and that you have a good rest of your night! Take care!
Thank you for the comfy stream today! Feels weird being able to read a bit of japanese but not understanding much www, so thank you for translating the text and thanks chat for helping with the learning! I really thought this was like several pages of the book, but it's amazing to hear this was just one page. Turns out there are some reaaally specific youkai, and it's fascinating to hear about them! Looking forward to tomorrow's streams. Hope you all have fun!
Thanks for the lesson Shiori. I knew some of the names and phrases, but I couldn't recognize any kanji. All your hard work is paying off cause now, you are teaching us.
Thank you for the comfy stream, Shiori! While I had initially intended to use this stream to work on something on the side, I ended up being fully focused on learning about the different yokai and Japanese phrases.ChatGPT wasn't out when I was beginning my own Japanese studies, but I can definitely see the benefits of using it to double check what you've learned from the book about yokai. The nightmares of remembering the correct stroke order for writing came flooding back to me if I'm being honest... Also, you do have some very nice handwriting! It's easy to read and while the odd character could use some work, it's nothing that can't be ironed out with practice if anything.Honestly, I think it'd be cool if there were more Japanese learning streams from time to time. It was really fun breaking down the sentences and fairly easy to follow along with.I did get to learn some new kanji and vocab on my end. Hope that you have a nice rest of your night and great work with your studies, Shiori!
I really enjoy your productivity and study streams! It's very relaxing and I get to learn a bunch of new stuff! . I also love the drawings you make when explaining the japanese words! I do apologize if I say something incorrect in chat and cause confusion orz. JP do be hard and you're really great for studying diligently
What a nice and relaxing stream I learned あれた is wild/neglected, which doesn't seem like a common word but it is still nice to know I hope you stick with learning Japanese as it gets more fun with the more that you learn
A nice fun little stream of watching shiori do her Japanese homework and it's just as funny as I thought it would be. It especially helps that the drawings were also funny I mean the toilet just made me laugh. I am impressed that she JP speak is soild and that she has been getting better. Although her being stick on the first page was a riot but overall, great stream Shiori as always!
Thank you for the comfy stream Shiori... Even If I wasn't as active, because I know almost null Japanese, but it was interesting and educational indeed... Thank you so much. for all of it. very comfy.
A Japanese study stream but sends us off with Chinese... Never change Shiowi ❤ These streams are really chill, your efforts are showing and we're all proud of you My nth time of asking for a Japanese only karaoke orz Even if there's only 5 songs that you can sing I'll take it, actually f- it we don't even need the instrumentals, acapella Shiori would go hard
I was able to follow along with most of the material studied in this stream. I strongly suggest including the furigana or romaji for a kanji when writing them on screen. That makes it much easier for the audience to look them up in real time. Good luck with keeping up with (and enjoying) your studies. It's definitely a marathon and not easy to stay consistent. I feel like making meaningful progress in a reasonable amount of time led me to spend two hours per day studying Japanese. It's a lot of reviews using two different SRS programs. I hope that soon enough I will know enough vocabulary words to make raw Japanese media easier to enjoy and use as studying material. That includes Japanese Hololive content!
Thank you for the stream! It was super comfy and super enjoyable. Ever since you mentioned working on Unity being "like being gifted a LEGO set" in one of your Wukong streams, I've been trying my best to design a decently compact Novelite model - that's what I've managed to fiinish today! It's only digital for now, so I should probably order the parts and put together a prototype before I post anything... still, I'm very happy with the results so far! We're also very proud of you for working hard on your japanese. Even if I personally don't know much of the language, it's been very interesting AND very calming (I'm going to sleep right after this) to see you work through all the sentences. Looking forward to TF2 tomorrow! If all goes well, I should be able to attend the watchalong too
Thanks for the stream Shiori! Life's been busy this month and just couldn't keep up with all the streams but this was the perfect one to return to. I admire your commitment to learning nihongo and all the progress you've made since last time, super proud of ya! Also the music tracker was broken for a whole 2 hours wwww but I enjoyed the vibes anyways.
Thanks for the stream, Shiori. It was a very comfortable and relaxing stream. I started off doing a bit of grinding and some side missions in a game, but after a while I found myself more interested in learning Kanji and reviewing what I knew along with everyone else. Using the children's book to learn is a fun way to go about it, a lot of those Yokai are interesting creatures. Rest well, see you for the double stream day tomorrow, starting off with some TF2~
Otsu Shiori. Thanks once again for another amazing stream. It was such a cozy and comfy vibe watching you study Japanese here. I gotta say, you were making some great progress here. Well done Shiori. Hope you had lots of fun studying Japanese here ♥ 🐀
That was a cozy stream. I even went back to WaniKani during to study some kanji. Unfortunately, I had well over 1k+ flash cards from my months-long break so it's kinda hard to get back into it...
Honestly, we just started Katakana and associated vocabulary so I was a little discouraged seeing Kanji in your stream. It was indeed educational but at my educational phase, it was a little hard to follow along I must admit. It only encourages me to do my best in my current elementary Japanese lessons!
Oh, ig I kinda mis-spoke in my SC about Makoto Shinkai, Shiori, I meant the anime director Mostly, I know him from his older anime, from 5 cm/second and older. He references and uses imagery of a lot of stars and stellar objects like nebulae, and just does some really beautiful art of those, with really vibrant colors (He's been called the next Miyazaki like from Studio Ghibli before bc of the beautiful bg arts) In those earlier anime, he seems fascinated w/ space exploration & bizarre scientific concepts like parallel universes and time dilation. One example is that in 5 cm/second, someone says that a rocket is pulled along on its carriage at 5 kilometer/second, which shakes the MC out of a daydream The animes I know of his were really touching, but really wistful too.. So, with how much Shunkan Heartbeat's lyrics talk about stars and the universe, that's why I was reminded of these stories. (A lot of people know Makoto Shinkai for more recent anime too like "Your Name," and prechat told me his newer anime luckily don't have as many sad endings ) I realized smth too w/ what I was saying about JP writing stroke order, so sorry, ig I'd have to kinda correct/clarify (?) myself Basically, what someone else said might really be right: stroke order might not matter that much, as opposed to what feels more natural to do From my long ago experience with written Chinese and JP, I think there's basically some writing conventions, but I realized there could be more "exceptions" than what I said before. In fact when it comes to kanji esp., ig it's more a matter of finishing one radical at a time, since radicals combine into whole kanji. Y'know, it might make more sense if I tweet a little video to demo how I write these things at least Still tho, good job learning more JP, Shiori, take your time to process it, and sweet dreams~ 💕
Thank you for the stream, it was lovely to see you studying and, this way thanks to you, I managed to refresh my memory on some Japanese too. I'm very grateful for this comfy stream, Shiori is so diligent and I'm happy you're focused in your studies! I love studying, I know it sounds weird and it's not common, but I do!
With these mystique knowledges, I can finally optimize my farming methods and the route to summon all of the youkais! 51:28 That one gave me a whiplash LMAO. For educational purposes, I think they don't commonly use nobasu to describe those. But an idea of a male rokurokubi is so silly/terrifying. Thank you for the productivity stream today! It was fun and chill, and mos importantly a lot of learning. Love how you also teach us while studying yourself, you're like a teacher! I did colorings to my drawing today, my first time trying out colored pen markers. It was pretty scary because I need to do everything right in one go. Good job today, hope you have a nice rest!
Thanks for the stream today Shiori! Glad to see you working and inrpoving on your Japanese. It was a nice and comfy time watching and listening along. In terms of work progress on my end, recently these past couple of weeks I've been messing around with RPG Maker again, and during the stream I was finally able to achieve a certain look and feel that I liked. Took a damn while, but I'm happy with what I made so far. Thank the lord for Plugins and their creators, you have made my life easier. Even managed to get chat gpt help me with writing a bit of Javascript for one small detail, and let me tell you the feeling of seeing it actually work after struggling for a couple of hours was so satsifying. (God I really loath figuring out coding) . I think I'm starting to understand that feeling of enjoyment on working on something like it is with you and Unity. It really is something small, but if you're ever curious, I left a little recording of what I made so far under your On air tag on Twitter. I look forward to both streams tomorrow! Lets make it an absolutely fun time with Ame and the rest of the members! And I look forward to closing off super september with Batman tomorrow, another film I never seen before. Thanks once again for creating a nice space to work along with. I wish you a lovely rest of the night, and I hope you get some nice and well deserved rest, and something to eat if you haven't. Take care and see ya tomorrow Shiori.
Thank you for the Japanese learning stream. It was nice to just chill and watch you learn and talk with ChatGPT and Henma. I also tried helping a hit, but I did get some stuff wrong like Nobari のバリ. I’m still pretty rusty on my Japanese. I have Genki 1: An Integrated Course in Elementary Japanese Workbook which helped when I was studying Japanese. I would recommend doing the problems on that if you wanted a workbook to practice on. Overall good job with the pronunciation and the penmanship. Your handwriting is pretty nice. I wonder if you are using keyboard or a tablet to write it cause my handwriting with a mouse might as well be hieroglyphics… it’s sooo bad. I also really love the doodles you make for your notes. It’s super cute and actually very useful for making the association and better recalling it in the future. Anyway, thank you so much for the stream. Today was a bit gloom and solemn. My last class period was also pretty frustrating and stressful, but this stream brightened up my mood quite a bit. I was even productive with doing some drawing during the stream. Thanks again for liking my art and just hanging out. Have a good night Shiori I’ll try not to sleep at 3am today… No promises ~
Arigathanks for the educating stream Shiori cant believe it took 2hrs to finish translating 1 page i can imagine your hard work now to learn japanese if it took 2hr to learn and translate them and even with the help of chat i hope your hard work pays off very well in the future and even though i have a little knowledge about japanese but i can only know them from listening and romaji that i can understand but this stream also help me learn even though it is all over the place for my first time learning the written words but it helps and maybe one of this day you make stream of education that would be helpful to come back to, thanks once again
Thank you for the stream! This study session is a comfy stream. ChatGPT sure is useful so I could see why it's helpful in studying. Though I didn't use it myself, since my professors give a warning about using it to write essays. Fortunately, the essays weren't that difficult at the time so I didn't rely on it. As for the yokai, there sure are some interesting ones out there. As for my productivity, I was making a Gundam model kit that was hanging in my closet for a while. I got through one page and I had cut my finger in the process, but it's a small cut so nothing major. Gotta be careful with the knife next time, or just stick with the model nipper.
Thank you for sharing with us your knowledge, your story, your effort, and your time. Take some rest and let your brain process what you've learned and regain its energy. You've been working hard, I assume.
This was both comfy and informative, i was following along (which was super fun☺) and it gave me perspective on how terrible my handwriting is😅 Thank you for the chill times, Shiorin 🤍!! Good job on your learning today. Take care!!
This was a nice and chill stream We got educated good! I actually didn't know there was a stroke order to things, I couldn't really help much but at least I learned something The lo-fi helped me chill a bit when I was doing art, Twas good for productivity and I'm actually really proud of how it came out These productivity streams really are my favorites of yours, got me excited when I saw it on the schedule, as far as I can tell you're the only one who consistently does them in Hololive too Thank you for the comfy work stream, Shiori
Shiori! Nowadays, I am quite literate in the English Language! In the past, my vocabulary was limited to ridiculous grammatical errors! However, I still have trouble writing stories without constantly looking at Thesaurus! Indeed... It is a tragic habit to accumulate in Digital Writing! I will challenge myself once more in Traditional Writing to refine my fluency! You see... A Willpower has ignited me from witnessing Shiori Novella's passion for Japanese in Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji! Mhm! Without a doubt, I am proud to call her my Oshi! Shiori... I shall one day Master the Art of Japanese, equivalent to my journey in English! Anyway, thank you for the Productivity Stream, Shiori!
Thanks for the stream Shiori! Was really fun, and I got to freshen up my Japanese a bit too. Surprised how much I remembered! It's been a long time since I studied any

(A lot of people know Makoto Shinkai for more recent anime too like "Your Name," and prechat told me his newer anime luckily don't have as many sad endings )
I realized smth too w/ what I was saying about JP writing stroke order, so sorry, ig I'd have to kinda correct/clarify (?) myself Basically, what someone else said might really be right: stroke order might not matter that much, as opposed to what feels more natural to do From my long ago experience with written Chinese and JP, I think there's basically some writing conventions, but I realized there could be more "exceptions" than what I said before.
Thanks for the Japanese lesson Shiori
しおりんの日本語はかわいい

thank you gambare to learn together
しおりんの「ふ」のかきかたがわたしよりじょうずです
Thank you for the stream, it was lovely to see you studying and, this way thanks to you, I managed to refresh my memory on some Japanese too.
I'm very grateful for this comfy stream, Shiori is so diligent and I'm happy you're focused in your studies! I love studying, I know it sounds weird and it's not common, but I do!
How long have you been studying? Because you seem like you're already at a pretty decent level of understanding.

Gosh she's super cute
😁😁😁💜💕🥰🥰🥰💜💕
Have a good night Shiori
I’ll try not to sleep at 3am today… No promises ~
This was both comfy and informative, i was following along (which was super fun☺) and it gave me perspective on how terrible my handwriting is😅
Thank you for the chill times, Shiorin 🤍!!

これは切り抜かれますね…
The thesaurus is great. I use them too www.
@@ShioriNovella Ah~ A Thesaurus truly is the Mayonnaise of a Sandwich! Www!
