What a great life you are living. Thanks for taking us along. I can't imagine all the hassles of filming and editing, but I look forward each week to catch up on your weekly travels.
Thanks, Doug. We are glad to share our experiences and happy that you are along on the journey. We do it for everyone who enjoys RV life and for our memories as well.
If those chickens only knew how many Chester's Chicken pieces you bought, they would have scrammed. LOL Loved the video, and the music was great. Safe travels!
I love that you guys pay attention to the little things, recognize those that give great deals and services, and are so down to earth. It's a real pleasure to watch your videos. ❤😊
If you guys are ever in Eastern Washington, Spokane County, you are most welcome to stay over at our place. We have a loop for the neighborhood, over 150' of frontage and, even though you don't need it, 50 Amp service and water hook up. Dump station is about 10 miles away at a stare park, the same park that borders our neighborhood. There are trails and the lead to the Spokane river. Nice, safe spot!
@24:38 In regards to the parking spot question, you can see multiple dome cameras mounted on those poles on the right (3 per pole). Either someone is manually looking and updating periodically or there is a system that detects big rigs when they park and the sign updates automatically.
I also use gloves some of the hoses out there or just absolutely filthy and I travel day I just don’t feel like being dirty or smelling like diesel fuel❤ be safe in your travels be aware of your hazards don’t ever forget
Cell phone data is real time and is how some of the apps including Google maps have access to GPS and exact location of traffic. If you think about how Google maps knows how busy it is at Walmart or any location is by counting the amount of cell phones in that location/restaurant etc.

You ask how they know how many parking spots are available, it’s called “detect a loops” same thing that controls red lights you drive over one when you pull in and you drive over one when you leave, they can tell how many cars and trucks are there. As well as all the data like peak traffic times and length of stay.
Hi guys!! Beautiful places to stay!! Everybody thinks we're too big to fit in spots with our 42' 5th wheel. But we fit in most places. Hit the road this morning...a day later then planned. Drove past Twin Falls on our way to Idaho Falls today. Will be in Montana at our friends tomorrow. Sondra, I have hot flashes when we get low on fuel. Happened today after hubby said "oh we're fine"!! Safe travels you guys and hope to see you on the road someday!! 💜
Wyoming is so beautiful you guys are lucky. David you got kinda excited about ice cream. I do too but I’m stuck on Blue Bell best ice cream in the world to me.

I was telling my wife that one day when I retire, I'd like to take her - --hopefully my kids that would be grown up by the time I do, to visit these place yall go to. I'm a trucker, so I can only drive by these places but not take in nature's beauty. Stay safe out there, and I'll see yall on the next one.
It's a fantastic goal to have so stick to it. It's a fun way to travel, especially with family, and a lot of beauty out there. Thanks for watching the channel.
Love tagging along with you guys!! Thank you for taking us on your adventures!! Can’t wait to see where you park in that campground!😮❤❤❤oh, by the way the drone work is top notch!!❤❤❤
David....we stopped at Little America two days ago but did not get the ice cream. I believe that Little America was founded in the early part of the 1900's by a traveler that was stranded in a blizzard. As there is no other place within miles of that location he decided to build a safety shelter that has now been greatly expanded. BTW, there is another little america location in Cheyenne.
At the rest area ...they know because when they repaved the parking lot they put in magnetic strip that sense when a truck is in a parking spot..computers sends messages to sign..nice system when working properly 😒 😊😊
Sap brothers truck stops are usually pretty good..if traveling threw Sparks Nevada check out the Petro truck stop..they use to have prime rib on the buffet on Friday..and prime rib sandwiches on the menu every day..was very good when I use to stop there..clean showers 🚿 too.😅
My hubby and I were owner operator truckers team drivers and left the road in 2013. I’m loving your videos and have been to many of the places you go. Yes! Sapp Brothers!!
You’ve never been to a Little America before? We’ve stopped at the one in Flagstaff Az many times, they have Hotels too. Enjoy watching y’all & your journeys!
Sondra, left is drivers side. If your not in a vehicle then look at the back of your hands and put your thumbs out. The hand with thumb out that makes an L is your left. But it has to be back of hand.
Thanks for the tip. When I went to get my drivers license at 15 or 16 years old I failed the first time.. then I wrote R and L on the back of my hands and I passed. When we went to get our Class A endorsement for the rig, I did something similar (but not as obvious). 🤫😁😅
Oh, no … a cliff hanger … I enjoyed seeing your everyday travel life. It was not “boring” as you predicted David. At least not for me who’s whole RVing knowledge comes from you and Sondra. Thanks for sharing your life and the gorgeous videos and photos. Glad Sondra was able to photograph some wildlife. That ground hog or prairie dog was cute! Enjoy your week in Idaho. See you next Thursday!
We made a spice cake with Sondra's recipe while watching the video. We had to back up to verify the proportions. We used spice cake mix and cream cheese frosting. Delicious! Thanks for the recipe.
Yay! That's awesome! I love this recipe especially for just the two of us and it's so versatile. I've also added carrots, walnuts, cinnamon, and craisins to a spice cake mix which is good too. 🤩
Regarding the rest area…. There could be either a sensor under on & off ramp or a sensor on a post at the ramps. Thats my guess. I cry 😭 when I have to pay $50 at the gas pump. Thank you for taking us along your journey.… safe travels.
And it was all going so wonderful....until the infamous $.75 cone appeared from the heavens over Little America......and I had to put you on pause because it made me want some of my Breyer's Carb Smart Chocolate (and I sprinkled chopped walnuts on it to boot)! And what a way to finish your video. Thank you for ALL of that! I really enjoy seeing the places you come up with to stay at, good or not so good. Keeps things interesting. Continued safe travels.
I ran 84 -> 80 eastbound hauling a load out of Portland about two weeks before you came through westbound. That is such a beautiful area. Little America is a real gem. Time permitting, I like to stop there. The food is good and reasonably priced. A coworker of mine stops there every time she goes through there, just to take a bath. I really love your Volvo 780. I miss the Volvo 760 that I had at my old company. I'm a few years from retirement, and I want to buy a used Volvo or Cascadia, drive commercially long enough to get it paid off, then use it as a HDT to pull a 5th wheel camper for retirement.
Kansas has great rest areas with wonderful RV parking. Had a semi there with us once. No way would I complain. They have never complained to us. I know they needed some good sleep. Love Kana's rest areas
I have travelled heaps, camping in remote areas, 4x4 ing, caravanning but have only have seen 1 large, long RV like yours. This was in the outback where a station aka ranch, was and the owner had imported it from the USA. As there are not many service stations out there so fuel is very precious and unless you have a fuel tanker with you it’s hard to justify such a long unit. But enjoy and be safe. Oh I live in Australia.
Thanks, Judy. We want to get down under one day. That's interesting about the rig in the outback. We could never bring ours down there but would use a caravan and truck instead. Appreciate your time watching the channel.
I am so happy you two stopped for an ice cream cone at Little America. That is always a must stop when I am passing through. Safe Travels, and Happy Journeys!
As an American living in the UK(14 years now), I remember my first double roundabout. It definitely was a bit nerve racking. Thanks again for sharing your great videos.
Gotta love the humour on this blog , with the Boo_Days (ghost Loo s ) and your round a bout fetish ! As a Brit we go around the opposite way around them and if we come back from a europe trip to france it can get very confusing that first ten mins in your home country, where you give way to the left , we give way to the right to oncomming trafic, even after over 35 years pro trucker i always tried not to drive after dark mainly to keep my sanity. Good tip if you realy wont to go stealth how about an ex army camaflarge tarp ? although your solars might not work so good.
ONCE AGAIN 😍outstanding job filming and editing!! Putting this together was VERY ENTERTAINING. How about a Q and A in the next couple weeks. I would love to hear your thoughts on some things. Favorite place to stay, worst place, do you have friends on the road you connect with and stay together, favorite RV stay location, how do you budget for the year? Does your daughter ever come and camp with you?? Gosh i could fill a whole segment. Lol. Thank you for helping me get through a night of insomnia 😊 SAVE TRAVELS
Glad we could be there for you. We're going to do a little something like that when we hit 50K subscribers since we've had some questions...yours alone could be a video! 😆 Thanks for watching.
Interesting. we just came through the I80 corridor in Wyoming this last week. Love the Unita Lanes in Evanston. We stayed there a couple of years ago, before that storage place was built next door. I had a feeling as soon as David mentioned you were staying at a bowling alley that was where you would end up. Great videos.
Small world but we hope you had good weather, David as you were passing through. Not too many overnight bowling alley's in Wyoming! Thanks for watching.
I just found you and after watching this video, definitly will sub, you are such an inspiration. My hubby and I are working toward a similar goal on a smaller scale, this will give me some ideas and will go check out your other adventures.

Oh what a great video! I love the kinda “behind the scenes” cooking videos and need more of them! I agree with another person who commented that we need a Q&A session. We send in questions for y’all to look over (at your leisure…lol) and y’all answer them. I think people would love that! As always, this was another great video! Safe travels!! 😎

Hello from Wichita Kansas. It was cool knowing the roads you were on. Missed giving you a honk and wave. Also Goodland is our home town. It is always windy out there.
The Little America in Little America, WY is their flagship. But they have 2 much smaller places. 1 is in Cheyenne, I believe 1 exit north of I 80 off I 25. The other is in Flagstaff, AZ.Those ice cream cones, were .50 until COVID. Sapp Bros truck stops also have some really good chicken tenders. If you get the fresh, they are on par with Chester's. 😊
AMEN on the gloves!! Used to drive me nuts when someone jumped up on my running board with their diesel gloves on just to tell me something that was not importent! And I end up smelling diesel the rest of the day.
I enjoy the drone shots. One thing I like about Kansas interstate rest areas are the circular parking areas for overnighting. I found them nice when traveling with my RVs, and more quiet. I noticed a lot of tree damage on the farm. It made me wonder if they have had tornados over the years.
The bowling alley you camped at is just a couple of blocks from my house. I wish I could have met you guys. I have been watching you guys for over a year. Next time you are this way maybe we can meet up.
We drove from Idaho to Mi and then MN. It’s like watching our trip in reverse order. You forgot to mention the big Abraham Lincoln bust you passed on the highway 😂

Appreciate your time watching the channel.
going through Salt Lake City Utah - if you need mechanical repairs - there is a place called Rocky Mounatin Wrecker & repair shop :
Ok. Good to know. Thank you
You guys are fun to watch! Thank you for sharing your travels with us! And 75cent cone is a deal!
Thanks, Catherine and we think the cone is a great deal.
I am so happy you two stopped for an ice cream cone at Little America. That is always a must stop when I am passing through. Safe Travels, and Happy Journeys!
It's so good! We're making that a regular stop for us too now!
As an American living in the UK(14 years now), I remember my first double roundabout. It definitely was a bit nerve racking. Thanks again for sharing your great videos.
Thanks for sharing! I don't know why but I like roundabouts.
Thanks. That would be very disorienting on driving going from left to right on the same day! Whew!
The .75 Cone is the same it was when I was there 20 years ago!
That's crazy! Great deal!
Golly! I feel bad when I fuel up my Corolla, and it costs $12.00!!!!
you dont live here in Commifornia! gas is still $4.60 a gallon
@@lutomson3496 The Glorious People's Republic of New York State is fast catching up to California prices, though!!!
We've gotten used to it but the first time was a shock!
Another great video, I'm getting anxious to hit the road. Hey be careful around those Prarie Dogs, they carry Bubonic Plague.
Thanks for the tip! Hope you get in the road soon, Phil.
You were in my neck of the woods!! I am 45 minutes west of Newton in Hutchinson. I hope you enjoyed your time in Kansas.
Love that area, Carrie. The Yoder Restaurant has good pies and we enjoy time on the farm in Partrudge.
Beautiful time of year to go through some beautiful country. Another excellent video. Love your camping style.
Glad you enjoyed it, Bill. It's truly special in this area.
Love the music you edit into your video
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
This was so enjoyable! Great to see the different places you stay. Impressed by the microwave cake, and the chicken salad. Safe travels.
Glad you enjoyed it! We eat good, simple but tasty!
I just found you and after watching this video, definitly will sub, you are such an inspiration. My hubby and I are working toward a similar goal on a smaller scale, this will give me some ideas and will go check out your other adventures.
Welcome!! That is fantastic! Good luck and we're excited to have you along on the journey. 😊
Spectacular as usual
Thank you so much 😀
I've been to little America more times than I can count..cool stuff, there a restaurant there, yumz, lotsa room..really a fave truck stop..nice showers too
It's so nice. We had passed by before but never stopped. Now, it will be a regular.
Try using the green RainX for your windshield fluid in the summer…it works great on bugs!
Thank you. I'll look into it. I have the RainX yellow stuff.
I know you have a FAA Part 107 ...RIGHT ?....I see you have a DJI drone in you truck sleeper...Looks like a DJI Mini 2 or 3.?....You do a good job in flying....
Thank you very much. It's a DJI Mini4 Pro and I always try to not crash it! The Part 107 is important for sure.
The Holdings of Little America own Sun Valley Corporation in Idaho. Great family.
Thank you. It was a fun and interesting visit.
We have been watching your channel for a long time never thought to subscribe but now we have an HR. We really love your Alaskan tips and your other tips
Awesome! Thank you! Enjoy the freedom and the road.
Wow, some beautiful western scenery out there, I'm anxious to see more. I'm glad you scored some cheap ice cream cones and some great photos/video. See you next Thursday!
Thanks, Carol. Beautiful out west... it gets better! Ice cream was awesome. See you next Thursday. 😁
Thank you, Sandra. When we get to 50K subscribers then we plan to do a video to answer some of those questions. We don't want to give it all away...need some intrigue, eh?!? Lol 😆 😆 Appreciate your time watching the channel. 😃
Oh my, I love y’all and so do the chickens!!!😂. I need to rewatch and write down the cake idea! That’s perfect!!
Hey Kim, I think Peggy in our FB group asked for me to write it out and I did in the comment. 😉
It's tasty, Kim! The chickens were crazy friendly.
Hello from Wichita Kansas. It was cool knowing the roads you were on. Missed giving you a honk and wave. Also Goodland is our home town. It is always windy out there.
Thanks, Joy. We were surprised that the golf course had been established for 100 years... and people were playing in 40 mph winds! Wow.
@@bigtruckbigtravelswe are so used to the wind lol
The Little America in Little America, WY is their flagship. But they have 2 much smaller places. 1 is in Cheyenne, I believe 1 exit north of I 80 off I 25. The other is in Flagstaff, AZ.Those ice cream cones, were .50 until COVID.
Sapp Bros truck stops also have some really good chicken tenders. If you get the fresh, they are on par with Chester's. 😊
🤔 I was so impressed with their bathrooms I never thought to check out their chicken! Now we have two reasons to stop. 😎
Thanks and good info. This is the first we've seen but we'll be on the lookout!
I enjoyed seeing some more images from inside the truck. especially when you are preparing the meal. greetings
Glad you enjoyed it and we wanted to show some different aspects of our travels. Appreciate your comments. Thanks
Back in the mid 1980's when I was OTR truck driver, I used to stop at Little America for homemade pies!
That's cool, Dana. I'll bet they are good.
Looks like a tight squeeze at the end here safe travels beautiful country 😵💫
Thanks, Joyce. It is very tight. We'll see...
Thank u so much music from ireland😊
Our pleasure, Patricia! Thanks for joining us on this journey.
AMEN on the gloves!! Used to drive me nuts when someone
jumped up on my running board with their diesel gloves on
just to tell me something that was not importent! And I end up smelling diesel the rest of the day.
Thank you, Stephan! For understanding...
I enjoy the drone shots. One thing I like about Kansas interstate rest areas are the circular parking areas for overnighting. I found them nice when traveling with my RVs, and more quiet. I noticed a lot of tree damage on the farm. It made me wonder if they have had tornados over the years.
Hey Gene, yes, they had just had a severe wind storm the week prior to our arrival. The KS circular areas are nice for overnights.
Grand son is stationed at Ft Carson in Colorado Springs.
That's a beautiful area of the state. Very nice.
The bowling alley you camped at is just a couple of blocks from my house. I wish I could have met you guys. I have been watching you guys for over a year. Next time you are this way maybe we can meet up.
That is sooo cool, Karen. We enjoy seeing everyone on the road when it works out. Thanks
I am a retired truck driver, do yall need a driver 😁 I enjoy your excursions. You two are way cool!!! ♥️
😆 🤣 Katherine, that is tempting but you'd have to sleep in the truck cab.
We drove from Idaho to Mi and then MN. It’s like watching our trip in reverse order. You forgot to mention the big Abraham Lincoln bust you passed on the highway 😂
That's true and the first time we didn't stop!
Believe it or not, those Newton round abouts actually improved those intersections from what they were years ago.
I'll bet. I like them!
