This community has terrific energy and so much going its way. The people here have been working like crazy to improve their city, which has been so overlooked and so underrated, and the results are definitely starting to show.
This historical tour is just the first of a series to come... Welcome to the Rutland Revival!!!

Great video. I actually live in Rutland
My dad grew up in Rutland in the 1950s and 60s. He claims it was an ideal place to grow up. About 15,000 people, so not tiny, but small town feel. And if you needed excitement you could go to Killington, the ski resort, where there were lots of clubs, bars, music venues and restaurants.
Still the same people try to talk shit about Rutland but I lived here 20+ years Rutland has so much fun for southern vt
I use to go to a christian camp somewhere around that part of Vermont in the late 60s Vermont is so beautiful.

I lived in Rutland for about a year back in 2005-2006. I thought it was a decent little town. I met some nice people and I worked at a place called Mr. C's Seafood. It reminded me of a smaller version of the city I came from in NH.

Phoenix that’s bull and you know it,if it was there would be a lot of tourists traps in the town
It has become pretty bad, sadly. Frequent stabbings, shootings including cop shoot outs and just recently a police officer lost her life in a high speed collision.
I just saw a video that says Rutland is one of the worst places to live in Vermont in 2021.

I live in Rutland! Its a very nice place and its so much fun!!there's 2 McDonalds, a FAIR, Golf, gorgeous scenery, there isn't that much to ask for.

Not true about the immigration and about the Main Street it was always down town it was never settle on Main Street and also false about John deer and false about marble being heavy and there are a lot of regulations on guns and I should know I’m was born and raised in rutVegas
