I just want to say, I never thought this video will be viewed so much, which is very sad as there are a lot of you going through the same nightmare I went through. After 5 years I live symptom-free, but the mold ruined my digestion and I am eating clean, no processed food diet. Just to give you a heads up: there is hope and you can have a normal life again and you can also fully recover, so do not give up. Healthy, mold-free lifestyle was the key for me to get better.

I’ve had to move multiple times and replace many things each time bc places became moldy from visitors and bringing moldy things from library, workplaces, stores into home. How do you stay out of mold and prevent cross contamination bc it’s so common in the US…over 80% of buildings per my inspector and insurance agent.

Smart girl - she speaks the truth about mold and how to get better. I am going through this right now and recently discovered my new (to me) house has airborne mold. I hope I can recover; my digestion is altered as is my cognitive function. It is pretty severe. I am not sure where I can go to get away from it however.

So happy you feel better. And you are right so many people do not treat this as a real sickness. And it is extremely annoying when you tell them whats wrong and they keep trying to guess what is your sickness. I mean really accept it that I am sick from mold, not depressed etc.

I’ve had four major black mold exposures in my life, and recently, the symptoms increased again, which tells me that there is mold in my environment. My fiancé and I went to Mexico last week, I was nearly symptom free. Returned to our house in the US and I’m really ill again. Started taking Bentonite Clay, Activated Charcoal and infrared saunas, it’s what helped me detox last time. The hardest part for me is stopping sugar, but I’m certain candida is also a factor

This gave me so much hope! I have neurological symptoms from mold exposure and it has affected my school work, social life, and exercise which is something I had looked forward to everyday. It’s hardly been a month on a detox + being out of the house, but it’s still frustrating to have these symptoms. I’m hoping it’ll take me 5 months to recover as well. I’m excited to get my old life back even though it’s going to take some time.

d qzj so it may vary because I was born with less space in my head (bigger brain), so the symptoms
I had were attributed to this mostly. I described the symptoms as “tremors” where it felt like my head was shaking, and anytime I was walking it would feel like being hit in the head. I also had something I described as “bruise pressure” where random spots in my head felt bruised, (or like someone was pressing a finger hard against my head). When it was really bad there was swelling which is what most people seem to talk about, like an inflated balloon-like feeling in your head.

I'm glad you found a way to improve your mold toxicity, most of us have to find out ourselves. Most will go to their GP and get alot of meds that do not fix the root cause. The environment change is a big one, I've tested it myself by sleeping somewhere else for 2 months, sunlight and couple supplements/diet.
Improved my mood and grew back some of my lost hair aswell. It's amazing how the human body can heal if you give it the right things.

The exposure for me was left side pain. Tingling. My teeth. One chipped. My son lost all his fillings. My digestion was horrible. It started with my digestion. Went to my eyes, numbness in my face arms and fingers. I started a protocol of ginger tumeric black pepper and exercise regular. I'm sleeping in my car with my dog until I can find a place

    • @raquelrodriguez865

I’m so so sorry you are going through this. May I suggest getting a small portable air purifier for your car? Now that you have been exposed, you will likely be more sensitive to even low levels of normal environmental molds and allergens and it is possible belongings you brought into your car may have a bit of residue that will trigger you.
I bought a Winix air purifier from Amazon which I credit with curing my symptoms within 24 hours (along with keeping all windows open).
Do what you can to boost your immune system and by the way do not use bleach to clean the area because bleach actually makes the mold worse.
Also, the brand Concrobium makes a non-toxic product that can be bought in a spray, an aerosol and also a jug. I recently rented from Home Depot a mold fogger and ordered the jug, then fogged each room of my house. For maintenance, I will buy the aerosol and use it in closets and bathrooms periodically as well to make sure I am not triggered, while my landlord is having a professional look into the underlying issue by testing moisture in our walls.
Air scrubbers can also be rented from Home Depot which I believe is what’s used to clean the air from toxic sites like meth labs for example.
I will keep you in my prayers. 🙏🏼

Getting educated about mold. Sunshine can disinfect. I also have used distilled white vinegar, bleach and essential oils. I hired a professional cleaning company to come clean my sofa, area rug and upholstered chair. I also had a plumber come and fix a leak in an outside spigot that was leaking. Sweating can help detox. I’m also taking 3,000 grams of charcoal and NAC a day and glutathione. Eating a low sugar diet.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We've just recently discovered our apartment has at least three different types of molds in the central air conditioning system. We've lived here for almost seven years & we have all been sooo sick. It's gotten to the point where I've had to have a 8cm large blood clot removed from my abdominals (a symptom of long term mold exposure) & my little boy has to have surgery on his nose, his father has had open wound/eczema for years now. I even began hallucinating & believed people were after my family & I. We are currently pursing legal help & preparing to get rid of everything we own & move away!

throwing out your stuff that doesn't even have visible clear signs of mold on it is beyond dumb.. Spray it all down with Concrobium Mold Control if you're that worried. no way you win any legal battle unless you were promised over and over that steps would be done to remedy the situation from your landlord, and nothing was ever done. If the landlord shows any attempts at remedying the situation even if it didn't actually help the situation, you won't win any legal battle.
This is coming from someone who has health issue with any type of pollutants in the air..

For your car! You can change out the air filter that your air conditioning/ heat goes through. I don’t think it costs hardly anything. You can look up what kind of air filter for your car, then watch a TH-cam video on how to switch it out .
2nd: maybe you can spray some vinegar and tea tree oil on that air filter. Keep a spray in your car and spray the air and ceiling/ carpet, everything.

Hi Edina. Your video popped up in my TH-cam feed. Funny, since it’s been 5 years since you made the video.
I’ve had mold sickness for 4 years & been unable to work. I finally left my condo early this year to stay with my 95 year old father. I was hoping to get better here and to be more help for him. But his condo has mold issues, too. Not as bad as mine but enough to keep me sick.
I threw out 80-90% of my things. But as you mentioned your car was contaminated and so is mine. It seems to be mostly in the air conditioner. I live in Florida where an AC is very needed in summer but not now. I’m going to have my car’s AC cleaned as well as using an ozone machine in it to denature the mold & mycotoxins.
When I started to get very sick from mold my body started to lose weight. I think my body was very intelligent in this. I was eating tons of meat & vegetables, all organic & pasture raised. It was very expensive. And yet I lost more weight. I gained a few pounds but I’m still too thin. I can’t get out of mold because of my Dad. I think the mold has affected him too.

Well, after years of visiting doctors and telling me that i am fine and the ill is in my head, know everything start to make sense.
Bad headaches, pressure inside my head, ringing in my ears, dizzines, fatigue, brain fog, joint pain and so on...those are my symptoms for more then 5 years.I live at the first floor, and the basement of the building is constantly flooded due to pipe leacking.Recently,a doctor told me that i have candida in my throat and nose...this could be the cause of sinus infection, for sure yeast is also present in my body

The mgr. says no but that's because they don't want to remove it. I have an air purifier and I replace hepa air filters every few weeks in the universal air conditioner but it helps only a small degree with my lung issues. I'm told Borax is really good for removing mold from clothes. Looks like I'll have to hire a professional to remove it from my air ducts and vents. Quercitin supplements have helped quite a bit. I believe most chronic conditions (acquired later in life and not born with) have a mental component tied to them. We are energetic beings, consisting of thoughts and emotions (forms of energy), in addition to our physical, biological body. Most people only want to acknowledge the physical being (especially modern medicine), omitting the rest of us (all parts of our energetic beings). I don't understand why so many think it's absurd to believe that our emotions and trauma could cause issues that manifest in the physical body. I also think this is a major contributor to not fully healing. Only one part of our energetic being is addressed. The imbalance is usually within all aspects of us. It's known by different names amongst people and cultures. But the name isn't that significant. Whether one prefers to call it Chi, life force, spirit, energy, etc. doesn't matter. Acknowledging it as part of us, and that an imbalance within it can cause physical imbalance (symptoms and conditions) is where it starts. I'm still learning, and believe that all my symptoms and diagnoses (labels) are from ONE root cause: Imbalance. Sure, there are specific physical causes of certain issues and conditions. Like mold triggering a histamine reaction. But when it becomes chronic, daily and ongoing, diminishing quality of life... there are other contributing factors causing such a large imbalance. We have to address healing not just on a cellular level, but also at the energetic level.. like you stated with the mental-emotional component. I sincerely think that's why so many of us don't fully heal. I'm still learning, so I'm still on the healing journey and have a ways to travel, yet. I understand where some people may get upset by what I wrote. I used to be just like that. It would infuriate me if someone tried to insinuate my conditions (symptoms) were all in my head. While there's some truth to what they were saying, they still were also missing the mark by limiting it to the mental aspect being the root cause. It's a major component, but not cause. The whole entire energetic being (physical, mental, emotional, energy life force sustaining it all, etc.) has to be addressed as a whole to create and sustain balance within all parts of us. Unfortunately, this isn't common knowledge within our society. It's like we are programmed to create and sustain a state of Imbalance, instead. Unknowingly, of course. It's beyond sad that so many of us have suffered so much, and are still suffering. Left to find ways to heal on our own, kinda blindly. I know I repeated myself a bit much, sorry for that. Whoever is reading this, please don't be so quick to disregard my comment. I know what it's like to be chronically sick and disabled. I'm not saying that your symptoms and what you're experiencing isn't real. Or that it's all from your mental health and emotional state that's causing physical manifestations.. but that it's a contributor to the imbalance within. It's not the only contributor. Everything is energy, including our bodies. Trauma from mental or physical stress (abuse, car accident, broken bones, grief, etc.) can become lodged in us or cause significant energy changes/flow with us (this is where a lot of chronic conditions and symptoms stem from). This can also result in being more susceptible to new conditions or a progression of existing ones. I don't have all the answers. I just wanted to put this out there in case it helps someone in their healing journey. All parts of us are syncing and flowing, together, within just one energetic body. Your body is always aware, and responding to what you speak to it and the emotions that you send through it. The emotions that you tie to your thoughts. Example is being overly stressed. Your body is pumping out cortisol and adrenaline to get you through what's supposed to be a temporary situation. When the actual threat is over, but you're still thinking about the issues surrounding it, then you briefly feel that emotion that is tied to those thoughts and memory. Your body does not know that it's not an actual threat present.. it just knows what you just sent it. So it continues to react as if still in the threat. Of course, this causes dysfunction and imbalance and the longer it's unresolved, the bigger the imbalance gets. The sicker you feel. Just as we may have unintentionally and unknowingly contributed (create) to our illness, we can intentionally create healing, restoration, and balance. It starts with acknowledging and being aware. Knowing that you are a powerful, beautiful being that is not meant to endure suffering. But to see value from the suffering (this is a whole nother post in itself- it's perfectly fine if you don't understand what in the world I'm saying, and that you disagree- as I once thought the same- but trust me when I say you'll understand fully once you go down that road), to process and fully release all that does not serve you to your greater good, to create peace within you, to be in the present moment (not reliving past or worrying of future moments), and to restore function to the physical body (diet, toxin exposure, detox, and numerous ways as mentioned in this video and by other commenters, etc.). I believe this is also why some try a certain protocol with great results and others without any significant results. Our bodies are individually unique with our own energetic body that is individually based upon all aspects of our self. That can't be duplicated. You are special and one of a kind. You are worthy, and you deserve to be fully well. Know this!

I'm stuck in a terrible, rotting hell hole of a house. 😢 I've had to bloody shield myself in here too due to Covid. I have lots of problems with my immune system.. Hopefully i will have enough money to move early next year!!

Its a massive problem in the uk, i live in an old house its freshly decorated and clean i mainly get mold around window. Last year the neighbours roof leaked and caused massive amounts of mold that seeped to my house.
Few things i have done -
      Cleaned with mold killer
      Re painted
Mold sealant to go around windows and bathroom £5
Pods which cost £1 to attract water put them on all window
      Air purifier
      Open windows often
Dry clothes outside when i can
      Garlic daily
      Eat more fruits
Go out for walks often for fresh air
      Hope this helps a little

You can use the ozone generator to clean the inside of your car, and change the pollen filter of the car. Hope it helps.

I have black mold all over the ceiling in my shower and above my kitchen sink. . The two rooms that I spend a lot of time in. I pay a lot of money to rent this apartment in South Florida. And for the past seven years since the hurricane, when we lost our roof, I’ve been living in toxic black mold. The new owners came and bought the apartment complex last year and doubled my rent, the town of Lake Park told my landlord he needed to fix the old. He has not. And I have just continued to get more and more sick. I now have psoriasis all over my body, I am so tired. I don’t even have exercise when I used to be an avid runner. I do not have to move. But something has to give because I feel like I am just dying here. My health has continued to get worse and worse this year.

Thank you for all the good advice friend 😊 sorry to hear about so many people struggling with this, It really is overlooked hugely and most land lords don't give a s**t either. Best solution is to just move to a healthy space even if temporary so recovery can begin, and also I found that active coal tablets or powder helps to cleanse the body together with the yeast tablets, just don't take too much and drink plenty of water.
Do you (or anyone here) have any advice on what dishes to eat when detoxing? especially breakfast is tricky I think! is yoghurt okay?
    cheers everyone

Check out "Mold Warrior" by Dr. Schumaker. He uses Cholestyramine or Welchol to bind the mold so it can be excreted. It's a 3 week cycle.

I am detoxing from mold exposure too. I recently found out that citric acid is mostly from China these days AND it is made from GMO black mold !
At first I didn’t believe it...I did more research and found it to be true.😕 So, when buying vitamins or food I always read the ingredients and avoid citric acid.

Citrate, too. For example, magnesium citrate.

Your story gives me hope kind of. I've almost considered suicide many times because of this illness. I don't even know myself anymore and the pain and suffering is so bad and I can't find anywhere else to go. Do I have a better chance at healing being homeless??

You can start with that. But consider pushing through and go hiking for at least 2 weeks.

I’m so sorry. If you journal and make goals and then take baby steps, and I mean baby steps!, then you can look back at your progress and enjoy where you are, and continue moving forward to better things in your future🤗God made you for a reason, please don’t give up. What I do is remember how I felt as a child, waking up excited and with energy and jumping out of bed. I keep trying to find my inner child again. I’m closer and I’m pressing on forward. If God healed me, I believe He wants to heal you too!!🤗🥰

Try taking NAC N-cetyl-acteyline. Flonase spray bought over counter is a great nasal spray that will help you to. I am now going to a carnivore diet to heal.
