The 2000 version was one of my very first N64 games and games in general since that was my first home console as well. Very well in-depth and love the mixed of sim and arcade gameplay.
Man I love this game when it first came out, I remember when I got it for Christmas that year along with my first PlayStation, i also had a demo game CD inside the box that had a variety of games on it, man i miss those days 😊 playing this game was different because the players became more bigger in 3D, it was a jump start of what games more would look like in the future, looking back at it, I couldn't believe how advanced this video game was😊👍🏾
I think this is the first one where (if you have good eyes) you can read the names on the backs of the jerseys which is really cool for N64 so yeah the graphics are really good
Thanks for the comment! I THINK you could read them in Madden 64, too. If you have it in replay mode you can REALLY zoom in on the character models and see the names. REGARDLESS, quite the step up from what it looked like on PlayStation. And yeah, I agree, Zach. The graphics are pretty good in this one! - Danny
Nothing that we didn’t already know! There was a final trailer that they released last week (I think it was last week?), but yeah. Still looking solid! Thanks for the comment, Brandon! - Danny
Hey, man, no shame in it! 2K was still a fun game in its own right. I’m the same with you, though. The lack of franchise mode in that (compared to Madden 99, etc) was definitely disappointing. - Danny
The memories.... Wish I could go back to the 90s as a kid again..
I can't believe they skipped 35 seasons after Madden 64
Crazy, I know. 😜

Nice! Hoping to do a review of Madden 2000 sometime in the very near future. Thanks for the comment! - Danny

NFL Gameday was the competition. Not Blitz.
That’s fair. But on N64, you would obviously have fewer options. - Danny
Any cool new details on the spirits baseball game?

Bbbb
I was a dumbass who bought the Sega Dreamcast. NFL 2k had no franchise mode, this game three years older had franchise.
