Oh Jack...I think he is really something special. I work with kids and I have seen what his guitar teacher was talking about when he says "there was no stopping him". Most kids take lessons because their parents make them but few continue because it doesn't grab them. I had that when I first started to learn to play music and I still feel it when I pick up a new instrument. it excites me when I see it in younger people. What's interesting to me, about him, is he seems to really be in love with *sound* and not just music. That's such a bigger, more encompassing love that makes me so curious to know what he will do next. I can tell he is doing what he is meant to do. What's better than that?
This interview is way too humble, what Bleachers are doing is fundamental to LA and NY and mid-west industrial electronic post-punk-pop sound; you've got my word; the emotional truth in their music is supreme to everything else out there. The satirist production of some of their videos are film worthy. Their band has a very inspiring sound -- electro electric, they're doing it.
Jack is the man and this video is awesome.
