It was so obviously, blindingly the best song on the album. What were the execs thinking? Lover would have a totally different legacy if they had rolled the right singles.

4 minutes into this interview and not only have I seen such an inspiration for awkward people (and possibly autistic mfs like myself) but also, such a cool guy with a blasé external approach to extraneous social situations. It's amazing to feel Jack's energy throughout an interview! I totally get why people want to work with him and why society rewards such products on and on with many artists. Maybe there is not too much need to go with what others want in such level? Like doing it for yourself and then see what will distribute itself in today's content creation era? Also I love Taylor Swift!
Certainly, Taylor does not need him or anybody really. She can write & produce her art by herself. She just like to work with her friends.

I've met Jack twice, and he's such an insanely cool dude. I'm a huge fan of steel train and fun. It's so awesome to watch his career and see what he puts out next.

Im probably gonna get a lot of hate for this but i really want taylor to work with other producers other than jack. Jack is amazing and im grateful for what he has given to us but a lot of stuffs seem so repetitive. Like 1989 vault tracks sound like they belong to midnights and all of them kinda sound similar. I want her to try something different for ts11

@@cassablancothey didn't come back for a reason on red or 1989. I assume they don't want to work with her or she doesn't want to work with them. That's not jack's fault. Also 1989 TV was recorded before midnights, it probably inspired midnight's as it's the closest album sonically
@@nupurmishra346Looking at Jacks work with other artists, he seems very versatile. So his songs with Taylor sounding similar is Taylor's wish. She wants the songs to sound like that, you can't blame Jack for it.

Every time my family and I listen to getaway car (and more) he’s done with TS, we geek out at the parts that have his signature…it hit ya like a shotgun shot in the dark!!! 😍 radio city was the greatest night, greatest show…check it out the live album dropped this summer.
Jack Antonoff is so freakin brilliant. I didn't even realize he produced Being Funny in a Foreign Language. I remember the first time I heard Part of the Band, I thought it really reminded me of the sound of the second Bleachers album. Now it all makes sense!

I love what he said about the music industry is just whatever people like. When I was a kid, people would make fun of you if you had a particular favourite, or if you didn't, and you had to hide it. Now, even if a random idiot makes fun of you, it just doesn't matter, you can find your own communities where you are accepted and they are just making fools out of themselves. 💚
Yeah it would be nice if it were true but nowadays the music industry tells you what you like. Most upcoming musicians are industry plants designed to fit the preferences you think are your own but really have been instilled in you for the last ten years tirelessly in every piece of media you consume.
