    I think you are thinking of the Limbo. Where the person bends backwards and goes under a pole held by two others. Then lower each time until the party is almost on the ground

    Remember when Indonesia cruising permits were unobtanium? Then came the Darwin/Ambon race and cracks appeared. Now it seems every mono/multi worth it’s salt is parked up in paradise! Wish I could start anew fifty years ago …

    I stayed on Banda for nearly four months to study marine biology. I miss it and this video brings back memories. Thank you for sharing!

    Lots of special pieces. Did you get some nutmeg? How spicy was the street food? The lava flow to the sea was interesting. The water is so clear. What is the local currency?

    • @LifeinaNutshell
      @LifeinaNutshell  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, we got some nutmeg. The street food was as spicy as you wanted it to be. I like it spicier than Magnus. The local currency is Indonesian Rupiah. Thanks for watching and commenting. W.

      It’s tiring. It’s a wonderful place to visit but if you like to get away from the world a bit then it’s not the place. That’s why we left and returned to the Kimberley. More our pace.

    Puzzled why the spice islands are so lively and populated and have a strong indigenous culture yet the north coast of Australia is so sparsely populated and with few signs of early human habitation and those quite primitive.
