- We now set about the task of finding a new Peanut which will be suitable and safe enough for our trip to the Kimberley.
It’s tough trying to find a tinnie in Broome as there isn’t much around. Broome itself is actually a small town. It’s expensive to get things in by freight and people don’t tend to let their tinnie’s go as it’s a fishing mecca.
We eventually get a new Peanut and go about the task of fitting her out for the remote Kimberley region.
We also get food provisions, gas and fuel.
It’s a busy time!
Thanks for watching.
Until next time…
Wendy and Magnus

LOve the new tinnie - more room for beer;)
Absolutely! Very important. W.
Nice looking tinnie. Great vid. Thanks.
Thanks for your comment. She’s a great tinnie. The best we’ve ever had. W.
i have the older version of that boat and fitted a trim foil fixed the bow lifting plus grab rails made it a bit safer in a bumpy sea .its now sitting unused
Thanks for the info, Arthur. W.
You should organise a clip on cover so it doesn't get swamped again!
That’s a good idea. W.
Expensive purchase but 100% good investment, bring on the adventure.
Hi Steven. It certainly was expensive with the ‘Broome tax’. It’s been amazing though. The best tinnie we’ve ever had. W.
I didn’t notice any oars, they must be Bluetooth ones.lol, safe sailing.
No oars! One floated away when we lost the last Peanut! W.
Congratulations awesome new Peanut!! Hopefully you were able to sell the old engine to recoup some of the cost. Be safe out there!! 🍻
We still have the old engine. It needs a bit of TLC to get her back to ship shape! W.
Congratulations on your new gear, boat and motor, well done.
Thank you, Anthony. We love the new Peanut! She’s the best one ever! Thanks for watching and commenting. W.
Nice! You will have the finest tinny in the Kimberlies! Well Done indeed.
She’s a beauty! We love her. She’s incredibly comfortable and we hardly get wet! W.
Thanks ! Just what I needed on a Saturday morning kickstart ! Love your presentations ! Gunna miss them.
Thanks, Dave for your lovely comment. W.
Wow, well, you’re prepared with a brand spanking new ride, nice, I believe you’ve done the right thing though!
We didn’t want to buy a dodgy secondhand one which could sink! Too many crocs in the Kimberley! Safety is paramount. W.
Very exciting to have a new tool and it looks like you’ll be zooming around the groves in Kimberly. Can’t wait to see it all. I really enjoy these videos and I know they take a bit of work on your part, but they mean the world to me as I sit near Chicago watching the snow fall and the temps fall to -15.
Thank you for your lovely comment. So glad you enjoy our vlogs. W.
The ironic joy of drilling holes in a brand new boat, good luck with the journey
I can’t watch! Thanks for watching and commenting. W.
Congratulations!🎉
Are you going to put the 'swim collar', or whatever it's called, onto her?
All love and best wishes to you both, Claire and co, Berlin ❤❤❤
Amazingly, she doesn’t need a collar. She’s incredibly stable! W.
Woo hoo! Flasho
Pistachio
New bling.
Yeah! Gotta have bling! W.
Awesome new tinnie and motor. That should see you right for a while. Enjoy the Kimberly's.
It’s a fabulous tinnie. It will keep us going for years to come. W.
I like the 2 hull piercing points on the bow ,do you have any plans to cover them??
Just with the carpet so we can get on and off without slipping. Thanks for the comment. W.
Yeah cool, ya got an auto bilge pump in the new tinny ah?🤔
Magnus fitted a whopper in the new tinnie! Thanks for watching and commenting. W.
Should be called " peatin"
Great idea! W.
Its a shame you had to have the added expenses of every thing new. Hopeit all works well.
It’s all fabulous! We love the new tinnie. Broome Tax was a bit hard to swallow but we were able to source a good tinnie there in a decent time frame, which was definitely a bonus. W.
