Just get up close and parry In addition to the breaking effect: Igneo Talus hearts have a warming + fire effect when an enemy hits the shield/when you parry an enemy with one (like a ruby), Frost Talus hearts have a cooling + freezing effect (like a sapphire), and Luminous Talus hearts glow at night and in the Depths. Normal and Rare Talus hearts have no extra effects, but Rare Talus hearts have the highest damage when fused to a weapon or shield. You can oneshot Little Froxes with these, too, when you parry their lunges

Yeah nah i just use a cobble crusher to break the ore deposits because I found that if u use the ore or bombs etc u tend to lose most of the ore as the blast destorys it. For example instead of getting 3 luminous stones 1 rock salt and 2 flint u get 1 Luminous stone and rock salt as everything else got blown to smithereens.
With 3 minutes to spare. 😎
