    I love seeing the natural conditions the corals are growing in, the flow was really interesting to see, sometimes very little movement in the polyps unless a fish swam past fast. The water very slightly turbid and they were deeper than I expected. The sand flats habitats were really interesting! Love love love this video!

    Thank you for sharing such precious footage. It's fascinating to see how all those our favorite corals live in wild nature. Definitely helpful for us reefers to learn about their habitat! Thanks again.

    I love this video. The WWC guys aren’t talking over their guests/each other and interrupting. It’s just solid video production with a pleasant presenter. The quality and style is reminiscent of the videos Reef Builders was producing with Jake Adams at the helm. Unfortunately, since the loss of Jake, RB has gone down the tubes and their videos are so devoid of actual information, interest and production quality. This video brought me back to what drew me into Reef Builders. If WWC can continue improving their videos along the lines of this video style, they can probably almost fill the void.

    • @nicole.helgason
      @nicole.helgason ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Adams Reef Tank, Actually, the water was hot! Around 28-30c. I wear a hood mainly to keep dirty water out of my ears. These LPS reefs are often murky and mucky, so I wear a hood and then wash my ears with vinegar and alcohol solution after the dive. You will find my dive professionals that do the same thing to keep their ears clean. Thanks for watching :)

    Hope one day they will ban wild collected corals. Hobby can rely on frags just fine. Reefers need to see the natural habitat.

    • @jordanm2984
      @jordanm2984 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't want to see wild collected corals banned, just reduced, or carefully/thoughtfully selected. The impact of our hobby is miniscule compared to industry, fishing, and even tourism. Many leading coral researchers like Charlie Veron believe aquarists today are functionally building a world "bio-bank" of corals which are threatened. It ain't us they're worried about.

    • @twt000
      @twt000 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jordanm2984 They are farmed in the collection countries too. Consumers need to demand farmed over wild.
      Once you dive on a wild reef you will agree.
