    Not wearing a full-face (because I was on “easy trails” that day) cost me a broken jaw, two maxillo-facial surgeries and three years of orthodontics. Don’t be that guy, please.
    Got a Super DH now and wearing it everywhere ever since. It’s really comfortable and light. Jawpiece only comes off when I’m going up fire roads or when I’m doing jumpless XC runs.

    Another happy Super DH owner here. Had the 2R before it as well.
    I like the magnetic clasp and the way you can swing it together one handed if you forget to fasten it before pedalling off.
    Not so keen on the visor which doesn’t seem to come down far enough.

    I've just got this helmet and I really love it. I personally love the fidloc on the strap and got on with it right away. My previous helmet was a Bell super 3 open face and I really like the fit of this brand. I also think they have a lot of adjustability compared to some out there. There are a ton of good helmets around now I almost bought the lighter super 3r until I realised it wasn't DH rated. It was probably enough for me but if your gonna put a full face helmet on you might as well have full spec protection too for the sake of a couple hundred grams more in my opinion.

    The system that tightens around your head loosens really easily and would definitely loosen in a crash, is it suppose to do that?! And is this thing actually good for mountain biking?! There’s no padding, and the helmet seems really thin! I’m mainly going to use this for fast biking around the city and hill Bombing would it hold up to a good crack of the head on the concrete?!?

    • @evanbarnes9984
      @evanbarnes9984 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Look up some downhill MTB race crashes to see what a downhill rated helmet can handle - you'll be impressed! But this isnt a skate park helmet, and has to be replaced after a crash where you hit your head. MTB helmets are designed for maximum protection in catastrophic crashes, not multiple hits. The padding that these have is for comfort, and the EPS/EPP foam the helmet is made of is what actually protects you. You're not doing brakeless hill bombs, are you? Nearly saw a guy die that way on my commute last year.
