This is a Muonionalusta meteorite. The unique Widmanstätten pattern makes this one of the most beautiful meteorites. Showing this ring to new people really is amazing. Some people freak out completely when told this story and rightfully so. It's freaking 20 million years older than the earth! Thanks to lead-lead dating we can with great accuracy determine that this meteorite is at least 4565.3 million years old. It's just mind-bending.
A big thanks to "Inspire to make" who made the video that inspired me to make this ring: • Making a Meteorite Ring Keep up the great work Bob!

@@andrewsyouniverse1870 pretty much yep. Unless every information is stored in a unified way. Something written and translated a few thousand times from dead language to dead language especially when the languages didn't have the same structure will obscure any meaning and most of it is left to interpretation.
So while saying anything written in a book 1000 or 2000 years ago is a lie wouldn't be right, saying anything written in there is fact depends purely on how reliable the source material is.

Should have engraved, "one ring to rule them all".
And spoil it with corny shit like that...no..
when humans are extinct and an advanced species of life discovers your body with the ring on it , they might think your some kind of interstellar lord that ruled the star system hundreds of billions of years ago , that would be cool lol
But human body and Bone would be gone and can be mixing well with the soil..
Sadly, the ring will also be gone. As old as it is, it is composed of mostly iron..And iron rusts..alot. There are treatments and coatings that meteor collectors can use to prevent oxidation. But on the time scales you are talking about, and in a sample so small, with such a large relative surface area, it will rust away.
All that being said. It is mind blowing to comprehend what this is, and where it came from.
I own a small piece of a Martian meteorite. It staggers me that I can hold such an old piece of another planet in my hand. It certainly put my existance as a human into perspective.
Then legends will begin saying this ring possesses supernatural power, and wars will start for this ring, if the ring is still intact by then.
wow thanks for all the likes !! XD

@@whoisnightcore thank you for that
Fun fact , any ring made of gold is likely over 10,000 years old
i said the same kind of thing .about his car but much older since our iron comes from the formation of the planet 5 billion years ago
@@guytremblay1647 but earth isnt 5 billion years old
Fun fact any ring made with a diamond in it is up to 2,000,000,000 yo
@@inkoof6111 what if I get Superman to crush some carbon for me
the earth we live on the one that got hit by another planet is not but the actual earth the one that was born from the debris of the solar system before it got hit by the impact is much older and it was full of iron even before the impact its iron core is almost as old as the sun
Imagine you cut into the meteorite to make the ring and inside is an Alien virus that spreads globally and destroys mankind, that would be really bad luck lol
It looks like David found an ancient dwarf treasure what will he do now
Thank you from for all the likes
He is the dwarf
I was expecting a reply like ‘The dwarfs want to know your location’ but I don’t care about that now thanks for the likes
Lol my name is david
This should be expensive. More than friggin diamond
To current ring need a certificate from the laboratory. This is at least! Otherwise, for $ 1 I will make a million of them myself tomorrow.
Diamonds are inexpensive. Price is inflated by jewel manufacturers. Now this, is the real deal.
Yes.
@Xplocial OnlineNetworking
You understand artificial diamonds can be manufactured in far less time, right?
One ring to rule them all.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa the black gate or whatever its called!
Game of Rings
One ring to the darkness binds them
Ring of Thrones
It began with the forging of the Great Rings.
Three were given to the Long Range FPV Pilots, immortal battery packs, long range video and flight controllers with return to home.
Seven to the 3D Pilots, great acrobats and craftsmen of the balsa wood.
And nine, nine rings were gifted to the Quad Racers, who above all else desire power.
For within these rings was bound the strength and the will to govern each hobby. But they were all of them deceived, for another ring was made.
Deep in the land of Sweden, in the Fires of RCExplorer.se, the Dark Lord Windestål forged a master ring, and into this ring he poured his tri-copters, his EDF afterburner and his FPV flight from space.
Dude awesome :D
