Damn difficult painting the area at the back of the intakes , on the Rafale , where they stand proud of the fuselage . The shape is super-cool , just difficult to get at !

As it is clay based it only takes 30 minutes
Sometimes I use a hair dryer to speed things up

It seems you forgot a coat of gloss before weathering and before decals (this one is not necessary). The plane is great !
I think he did as the model looks too shinny and glossy before the decals and weathering.I suppose Peri chose not to mention on the video as it is a standard procedure.

Are the decals from the decals sheet in the kit or you have bought them separately?
These are special painting scheme so I had to get the separately

For the life of me, I can’t understand why subjects like this don’t get more love from kit manufacturers. You can get any variant of the F-16 in any scale but AFAIK, this is the only model of a Rafale in 1/48 and at best, it’s the only decent one. Come on Tamigawa, let’s see some Eurocanards in 1/48 for a change.

Peri's Models I’m sure it does but I think there’s a certain amount of laziness involved too. There would be loads of European modellers, as well as other like me, who would be interested in these things. Maybe someone like GWH will try. 🤷♀️

My friend, I thoroughly enjoyed watching this video and I gave you a big thumbs up for a superb job on this model but could you PLEASE do just one small thing in your next video: Lose that annoying techno music!! Listening to that music is like listening to fingernails dragged across a chalkboard! 🤢🤮

And I thought it was just me :) I agree that this techno/rave music used here and in previous recent builds is awful, I'd wish you'd go back to more peaceful music throughout the build. Other than that, fantastic build as always! Great to see a Rafale being built!

Did it really only have those few decals? I built the Revel F-15E and it had hundreds of 'no step' markers alone.

Πέρι ,θέλω μία βοήθεια. Μόλις έβαλα στο χέρι, ένα τέτοιο κιτ, και παρατήρησα στην καρτέλα decals μία περίεργη θολούρα πεστω, θαμπαδα, και στον τίγρη στο κάθετο, αλλά και στα γαλλικά εθνόσημα. Παρατήρησες κάτι τέτοιο και εσύ στην δικιά σου καρτέλα, ή όχι!?! Κάθε βοήθεια καλοδεχούμενη!!

Καλησπέρα. Είμαι 19 χρόνων. Έχω ασχοληθει παλαιότερα με κάποια μοντέλα και σκεφτομουν λόγω και της καραντίνας να ξαναμπώ στο χόμπι. Έχω κάποια πινέλα μαχαιράκι τρυπανακι λιμες κλπ. Σκεφτομαι λοιπόν να αγοράσω αυτο το σετ. Θα σε παρακαλέσω αν μπορεις να με βοηθησεις απαντωντας σε καποιες ερωτήσεις. Θα τα καταφέρω χωρίς αερογραφο; Είναι καλο κιτ για καποιον μετρίου επιπέδου; Τι μπογιές και λοιπά θα χρειαστώ για να πετύχω αυτο το γκρι και λιγο weathering. Έχεις κάποια πραγματα που θα μπορουσες εσυ να μου προτείνεις; Δεχομαι κάθε πρόταση. Αν έχεις κάποια άλλη ιδεα για αλλο κιτ θα το εκτιμήσω εξίσου πολύ. Με ενδιαφέρουν γενικά αεροπλάνα και άρματα τόσο του Β ΠΠ όσο και σύγχρονα. Ευχαριστώ εκ των προτέρων. Συγχαρητήρια για την καταπληκτική δουλειά!
Να προσθέσω επισης ότι τόσα χρόνια χρησιμοποιούσα enamel χρώματα χωρίς καν να χρησιμοποιήσω thinner. Επέλεξα παρόλα αυτά λόγω λιγοτερης μυρωδιάς και ευκολίας να χρησιμοποιήσω ακρυλικά χρώματα.

Σίγουρα μπορείς και χωρίς αερογραφο αλλα δεν μπορώ να σου πω γιατί από την πρώτη στιγμή εγώ αγόρασα έναν φτηνό κινεζικο
Υπάρχουν τόσες προσφορές στην αγορά που σίγουρα θα βρεις κάτι
Το κιτ είναι πολύ καλό εάν και θα σου πρότεινα να πάρεις ένα μικρό πρώτα σε 1/72 να ξανά θυμηθείς το χόμπι και να κάνεις λάθη χωρίς να σκέφτεσαι αμα χαλάσεις το κιτ
Peri's Models θα κοιταξω να αγοράσω και ένα μικρότερο σετ. Ή κάποιο από τα starter kit ή κάποιο αλλο με παρόμοια χρώματα. Μπορείς μήπως να μου πεις τι χρώματα χρησιμοποίησες εσυ και τι θα χρειαστώ;

Peri's Models έλεγα να βρω ένα euro fighter typhoon να πάρω που έχει παρομοιο χρωμα και κατασκευή σαν «πρόβα». Δυστυχώς τα χρήματα είναι οριακά οποτε δε νομιζω να πάρω αυτόγραφο για αυτο το σετ. Σιγουρα θα σκεφτω την πρόταση σου παντως για τους κινεζικούς. Τα χρώματα που χρησιμοποίησες είναι ακρυλικά ή enamel; Επισης άλλη μια απορία που έχω είναι αν μπορώ να χρησιμοποιήσω το thinner της hobby boss σε χρώματα άλλη εταιρίας πχ revell Tamiya κλπ. Ευχαριστώ πολύ για τις συμβουλές και το χρόνο σου

Come on stop the brainless Revell bashing...
Their kits are really good and I never had any bad experience with any of them (I built like a 10 of them on different scales and from different publication periods)
If you want bad kits, go look at Italeri
"It is not a Tamiya", oh wow. Well, it's a very affordable Revell kit on par with that overpriced Tamiya plastic.
