- Our family traveled to Nepal to backpack or trek through the Himalayan Mountains to Mt. Everest Base Camp. We were in Nepal and hiking from May 22nd - June 6th. Hiking as a family is something that brings us together and we hope it inspires other families to do their own adventures as well.
This video highlights our first three days in Kathmandu, Nepal and us heading to the start of our hike in Lukla at 9,337'. Come with us as we back back the Himalayas.

What an amazing trip already! This is such a beautiful country and I'm enjoying my trip already (though feeling that lack of sleep, jet lag, and that tiny scary little plane--btw the weather has to be perfect for it because the conditions can turn bad fast).
