Travel to Mt. Everest, My First Trip in 2024, Celebrating Tibetan New Year with Locals at EBC

- In 2024, I went on my first trip of the year to celebrate the New Year in a Tibetan village at the foot of Mount Everest, the world's highest peak. Excited about this journey, I documented my trip from Lhasa to Everest Base Camp. To showcase the breathtaking winter scenery of Tibet to my dear followers, I visited beautiful lakes and captured my entire journey driving through the Himalayan region. The magnificent views of the Himalayas during winter compelled me to explore further, and it was then that I stumbled upon a mysterious ancient castle at the foot of the mountains! Through a window in the castle's cave, I witnessed an even more astonishing sight of Mount Everest! Finally, the locals at the foot of Everest invited me to join them in celebrating the New Year with singing and dancing. Would you like to experience this magical journey and explore the ancient castle at the foot of Mount Everest? To make the necessary preparations for an unforgettable trip of approximately 8-9 days in Tibet, please contact me at jamyangtour@gmail.com, and I will be happy to guide you and introduce you to the locals at the foot of Mount Everest.

About Me - Jamyang
I am Jamyang, and I have been working as a tour guide with Tibet Vista Tour for 15 years. In 2020, during the Covid-19 global pandemic, I lost my job of being a tour guide, with the support of the company, I immersed myself in filming videos and documenting the culture of Tibet. My goal is to share the beautiful landscapes of Tibet, Tibetan culture, and the genuine and enchanting lifestyle of the local Tibetans with people around the world who love and care about my beloved hometown Tibet. If you plan to visit Tibet, be sure to get in touch with me. I can show you the best and most authentic Tibet.
Look at the roads and infrastructures built in this "most uninhabitable area in the world" is just amazing!
the infrastruction in Tibet is amazing
Jamyang, its always a bless to watch your videos. I was waiting so much for another. You make a diference in the lifes of so many of us. I am disabled right now and unemployed. Can not travel and spend money for health reason, so watching your work is my way to travel. And this makes me happy in my darkest days...
Thank you Jamyang for the most beautiful and authentic views of Tibet 🙏 I think it’s actually the first time in history we can see so much , thanks to you . Losar Tashi Delek and may our fortunes increase
And we Bhutanese call that mountain jomolhari! Exactly the same. Sending you much love Jamyang la.
I took your tour in 2017. It was amazing and October was a wonderful time to visit.
Always waiting for your next video 💖 love from maple grove Minnesota 💖
Same from Indiana
The video was totally worth watching. It shows many scenic and other worldly locations in the higher Himalayas. Well apart from the natural landscapes what else I am amazed with is the excellent roads that are there even at such higher locations in China. Excellent work done by the Chinese government.
THANKS A LOT FOR UR TRIP VIDEO ...HOPEFULLY MORE VIDEO...AND HAPPY NEW YEAR OF DRAGON 2024
world highest village in TIBET,,,, I love TIBET'''
Tashi delek Happy gaylbo loshar Year of Dragon 🐉 2024 Thuchese laso
This has been the best video I've seen with amazing views of Mt Everest without having to trek up treacherous routes through mountains. It is certainly much better than the Nepal route with far much better views. I really enjoyed watching this 🙏🏾
新春快乐!

You are very lucky because you are travelling at the world heaven. Thanks & keep travelling in your life.😀
Jamyang we miss you from Tibetans of outside Tibet.
Wow even a local ethnic Tibetan having trouble with breathing on the altitude……for a Malaysian ethnic Chinese I don’t think I would be able to coped even with oxygen tank:)
Big respect for the rigors of very high places 😂
Fwiw, 20 Year's back, I had a New Year's Eve show at a ski resort high in the Colorado Rockies - 13K'. Was advised to arrive at least a day early to acclimate and glad I did because I was totally wiped out/sick - almost felt like the flu!
I'm sure I sounded like a baby when I called the front desk, but they were awesome, bringing me a ton of pancakes and bananas. 😊 That + OJ & a lot more water than usual saved me, but, man...
Can only imagine what Everest must feel like. Je suis wimp.
Happy trails to all!

Don't worry, living at a high altitude is actually a process of adaptation. I live by the sea in Guangdong, China. I have driven to Mount Everest many times without any problems. Stay at a low altitude for two days, and then slowly go higher, which is easy to adapt to.
Watching all the way from Nepal. Outstanding vlog. Thanks@Jamyang for this vlog...🙏🙏Love from Nepal....
❤ wow amazing little brotha love from markham Philadelphia PA USA 🇺🇸 ty ❤️ 😊 🙏
In 2:36 you can see the map, and at the lower right-hand corner you can see the area is mostly blank. This is because this area called South Tibet is currently occupied by India. However, you can see that 达旺 (Tawang), 德让宗 (Dirang Dzong), and 邦迪拉(Bomdila) are marked on the map. Tawang is the birthplace of the Sixth Dalai Lama and home to the four hundred years old Tawang monastery. 达旺 was annexed by India in February 1951. 德让宗 was annexed by British India in 1944. In 1987, India made this area a state and renamed it to the so-called Arunachal Pradesh.
Free South Tibet from India.
