Sorry mate. It’s hard to document everything. We have young kids and plus we are travelling and living. Sometimes we just miss things or are to busy to film them. But yes. Mud come out of the truck for a good couple of days after.
As soon as you go over 25mph (40km/h) the mud flies off the tyres, the rest falls off as it dries (it shrinks as it dries) though you can end up with little dried balls rattling around in hollow sections for months.

This is absolutely the coolest rig on the planet! I have never seen a camp trailer on air ride. I have never seen any air ride vehicle that has the ability to control ride height from one side vs the other. I will say that the hitch set up is the oddest thing I have ever seen. Have you ever considered installing winches? It looks like you could use them from time to time. Also, watching you get unstuck, I have wondered if you have any kind of lockers in your diffs front and rear? I have a limited slip locker in the rear of my Chevy SUV and it makes a HUGE difference in slippery conditions. Epic stuff family! 27:00 is why our offroad caravans in Sarff Effrieka have that back corner cut off at at least 35 to 45deg for better departure angle. I really believe, along with steerable undercart, that that could be the best mod you could do on that van.

Greetings from Cape Town, RSA 🇿🇦 . I’ve only recently found your channel. And now I have serious toy envy. Well in your case I guess it’s called home envy. Your channel and video creation is really professionally done. Please may I ask a question? I find myself screaming at the Tv, but you never answer me. lol… Max Traxx. They’re an amazing tool to have… if you have a traditional 4x4 setup. But in your case, do you not think it would be better to have aluminium track pads about 3m long that the German over land vehicles use? Similar to what the Volvo and MAN trucks use? Don’t get me wrong. I was amazed how well they worked when you got stuck in the mud. But can’t help but feel if you had longer, wider aluminium tracks you would have put less stress on the CV joint, and would have had more forward momentum to pull the truck and van forward. And also in the video above where there was a steep drop off, these would help with making less departure angle on the van. ✌🏻 keep on truckin’
You definitely need skid plates on the back of your caravan. North American made travel trailers would never withstand the things you subject your's to. Great video. Travel safe.
A little bit of a tip. Go and get yourself a good brush cutter with an extension with a chainsaw blade on the end now you can cut any overhanging branches with ease.

Cheers mate
Me and my wife are going away in our VW T6 next week for 4 days wish we could do what you do❤🇬🇧
Hahahah mate we’re nuts. Don’t do what we do hahahah
The VW T1 would follow along the bits I've seen so far (though the panels would need welding back together every so often) but I wouldn't trust a modern one.
F@#king couple of legends. How you do all that and not lose your shit is unreal.
Keep it up
Makes for good ratings?😅😅😅
Love love you guys, thanks for the great content. 👍👍❤️❤️
Thank you for watching mate. Much appreciated
Awesome episode again. Love it.
Cheers double trouble. Very much appreciated
Good job with the scream! Under the circumstances you had to do what you had to do to prevent a potential catastrophe. You probably won't forget to turn on the radio next time. :)
I am yet to forget to turn the two way on again. Haha. And im pretty impressed with the state of my lungs tbh 👏🏽👏🏽 really surprised myself 😆
Hahahaha mate, considering what I put her through. She is going well
😂😂😂😂
hi Cartwrights family just subscibed a great adventure you guys are having may I suggest a metal whistle for communication for lookout to driver to stop immediately so words are not missunderstood also one for each family member if they go walkabout and need help just tell the story about the boy who cried wolf also good to take to bed anyway love your adventures have fun
Great idea!!
Good job again guy’s, what a lot of fun.
Glad you enjoyed it
Oh I actually didn’t realise the Fink Trail was that treacherous 🤬 glad you guys didn’t get much damage😁 man I was holding on hoping you wouldn’t tip as well😝

wow very interesting experience friend
Yes it was
Супер! Вы классная команда!!!
Greetings from Cape Town, RSA 🇿🇦 .
I’ve only recently found your channel. And now I have serious toy envy. Well in your case I guess it’s called home envy.
Your channel and video creation is really professionally done.
Please may I ask a question? I find myself screaming at the Tv, but you never answer me. lol…
Max Traxx.
Hey mate. This is a great idea. I’ll look into it
Thats was fu$kin unreal nice guys 😮
Cheers teresa. Thank you for watching
love the video's. you guys not afraid to meet some crocediles in those waters? great from norway
Mate we swim with some in a few episodes. Scary stuff
29:16 Gully crossing, double stack on the maxtrax or let air out of the rear truck airbags if you have them. (Land Rover tips 101)
Hahahaha the master !!! Thanks mate 🙏🙏
Hi do you change you tyre pressures or does your truck have to do from in cab or remote or on the fly…
Hey mate. We have to manually change the pressures. Nothing high tech about the isuzu
Love the van wish we got these in 🇬🇧
I love isuzu. How do you do maintenance of the truck?
Spare tyre sits way below the van's departure line. Keep an eye on its mounting.
Good travels.
Yeah I agree
If they keep dragging the spare tyre like that it won't sit far down any more. The situation will self-correct.
Hahaha clearly your a practical thinker 😂😂😂
Pity you couldn’t use the airbags on the rear axel of the van to raise it to max height & improve the clearance when you had to skull drag it.
Mate, bags where maxed out. I guess on our next van, we will be looking at better departure angles
Hey Mate, put some bloody sand shoes on. SNAKES😢😢Great show JY
Hahaha mate I don’t own shoes
You definitely need skid plates on the back of your caravan. North American made travel trailers would never withstand the things you subject your's to. Great video. Travel safe.
Yeah agreed
or a row of sack barrows lashed under the back ;-)
A little bit of a tip.
Go and get yourself a good brush cutter with an extension with a chainsaw blade on the end now you can cut any overhanging branches with ease.
Mate if I did that, I’d have greenies everywhere dipping there lid
