Don’t know what you guys do for a living before this but your videos….the editing, the filming and the drone shots… really high quality mate
Cheers mate, my wife has been working pretty hard on it all. So thank you for the feedback
You are completely correct, competition vehicles have an OK/SOS board that they are supposed to display to passing competitors.... if the SOS board is displayed then it is mandatory for following vehicles to stop and render aid as needed.
New subscriber. Such positivity. The world needs family role models like the Cartwrights! And I know how long it takes shoot and edit with so many extra shots, graphics, music transitions, etc. Well done! Just awesome.
WOW! Every one of your viewers must have big smile on their faces after watching your videos! Those kids are GREAT! So many fantastic memories for them! Good Stuff!
Enjoying your series immensely. I've watched quite a number of videos where folks have become bogged etc (and kudos to you guys, you worked hard to get out all on your own) but the one constant are the Maxtrax. I can't remember a single video where people have used the knock-offs to achieve the same result. The pounding that those bits of composite take and bounce back surely must be the greatest advert for them ever. My mark 1's are maybe 15 years old and don't get off the roof very often but I am very, very glad they're on board. Keep up the great work!
What an amazing way for those kids to grow up. Fantastic. Safe, happy travels 👍
Super adventure....Great fun for all-----Thanks for the great video again. 🏴☠
Love your videos, they are so well made the content the editing etc, thankyou for taking the time to do them really appreciate it ❤
Thank you so much for watching. We are blown away by all the support we have been getting
I have never found a TH-cam Channel about travelling Australia that I want to watch all episodes or even subscribe to until I came across The Cartwright’s a week ago.
The quality of your content, videos etc you provide is great. I look forward to your newest episode every week now, keep it up, lovin it 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Cheers Brian
Hi Brian. Thank you very much mate. We appreciate the comment very much
What an epic ride. What a gorgeous family. What a life mate. Cheers!
You said it... Bloody Epic. Your family is so chilled I can't believe I enjoy watching you do nothing lol. Camping next to the Finke Desert Race reminded me of camping on the Murray River during the Southern 80, right next to the action. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
Absolute family goals!! You guys are legends and are doing life right!! 🙏
Another great Video, we all like to see folks jumping off cliffs, swimming with crocs, having breakdowns ect ect. This video is important as it highlights the day to day of full time travelling which is the normal life rather than adrenaline fueled travels and adventures. Thanks for sharing these few days of full time travelling life.
We have a Beautiful country thanks 4 sharing and safe travels guys one day im off and going to explore and see Adelaide in my rear view mirrors 😂
Another top video. I'll have to add the Finke race to my bucket list nowq. 🙂
What a lovely family! Just stumbled onto your channel. Lot's of fun. New subscriber from Louisiana, USA. :)
You guys are a hoot, how beautiful is Ozzie, you came along at the right time to show our people what’s “normal” once again - continue lifting the morale, gosh knows we all need it, the family unit, the great food, everything we took for granted in our back yard! I’m nervous about next week’s episode, will the caravan be on two wheels or on her sleeping side 😴😂 vitamin D ( Sunshine) is great for virus, illness, and yes men do get man flu, it’s not a wives tale..
Just started watching your vids. Breath of fresh air. Love every moment ❤
That looked delicious.. great cooking and beautiful family. Greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷
Wow Wow, we mete you at the campground did not know you had a web site, brilliant as we are reliving our trip following you and your beautiful family. you offered to tow us out if we got bogged going into Palm Valley in our Delica and have just seen it in this vid, so stoked to be following you now, Bob and Barbara. Avalon Beach Sydney.
I'm really enjoying it.. I've watched all your videos 😊
Thank you so much. We are so glad you enjoying them. A lot of time and effort went into making this series
Such a wholesome family great adventure and incredible parents beautiful kids the true aussie family great content 😂😂😂
Have just discovered you guys, love watching your videos, wish there was more LOL

following your next adventures on youtube
Thank you. We are trying to get as many out there for you. But it’s hard work😂
We have enjoyed this beautiful journey with you and you are a very beautiful family. I hope your journeys continue because we feel as if we are with you. I am following you from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and please accept my greetings to all of you, especially the two little children and their cute sister. Thank you.
What a great episode. Kyla those purple flowers I think they are Thistles and if so are regarded as weeds. But a beautiful flower when all said and done. Keep those vids coming.
niesamowita jest ta Wasza Australia:) great!
Pretty keen taking a caravan down the boggy hole track. Look forward to seeing the carnage next week
Hey loved the vid it feels like I’m there with you guys. My beautiful young neighbour was at Finke this year with the army support crew apparently they had some motorbikes in the race she was doing the army photography of the event. Can’t wait until next week that van looks so close to rolling over.
Travel safe.
Hey neil. Thank you for watching. Fink was amazing!! Yeah we think next week is our personal favourite episode. Enjoy
Mate, watching the footage. Seeing you tear yourself apart!
Big credit there dad.
so sweet.. yr kids will chnge out the norm of the white picket fence - legends..
Thankyou mate. Most certainly not the “normal” upbringing, but we LOVE that
I think the lady sleeping in the primo camp spot woke up from a finke party when you drove by, alls good though cause you got the spot
Yewwwww nice one guys!!😃😃🤙🏼🤙🏼
Really enjoy watching you guys.
In relation to the cv's if you adjust the stop bolts so your steering doesn't turn as sharp the cv's will have less chance of exploding. But you will have to sacrifice some of the your turning circle. If you don't want to lose your turning circle don't load the cv's up on full lock. Hope this helps. Cheers, thanks John from "Talkabout adventures"
That first motorcycle given to young , astounding freedom . . lessons learned early valuable to evade chasing cops later
Amazing 👏👏👏
Kids NOT complaining about the stew...well done dad...Legend. I have nothing but smiles watching the kids having a great time making memories.
Another great adventure recorded with great cinematography. I personally loved the part where the daughter asked for a flower and dad said not to pick it. It is our responsibility to enjoy these beautiful places and leave as little a footprint as possible. And it's really important to teach the kids that so they don't grow up to be problematic individuals. Well done in this episode.
Heaven forbid a kid wanting a flower, or to feed the ducks. What a nuisance to society, real criminals....... Not to mention driving a 10 ton rig through the lakes.
@@veneratedmortal4369 It's about respecting nature you twat. These people are making a footprint but are trying to minimize it. Granted I'd do it different but to each their own. Take your time and piss off with your silly opinions.
Beautiful family👍
Just discovers you guys. Now I’ll have to watch all the old episodes before I can carry on. Nice one guys. All the way from Malaysia.
Hello I have just find your channel I love your adventures and wishing you all best. your new fans from Saudi Arabia 🌹🌹

Good job guy’s, nice vid & family adventure. Shame about the CV letting go on ya, I hope that isn’t going to be a continuing issue with this model NPS, that was a Mamoth effort to get that thing out, you did well. TFS. cheers
Your children goo to home schooling?
My child same home schooling😀👍
Nice and best video
Hope you filled the hole in!
The dude looks like car expert!

Hey mate. Thank you so much. Mate I just read the sign. I have no idea 😂😂
"She called. He yelled 'Cartwright'. I missed her."
"Who's Cartwright?"
"...I'm Cartwright."
"You're not Cartwright."
"OF COURSE I'M NOT CARTWRIGHT!"
Are we going to get a caravan tour? Love your content guys keep it up 👍
I used the race the Finke back in the late 90's.
That’s so cool. I was born in 93, so I probably would be too young to remember. Hahahaha
Living a lifestyle most people could only dream of. Keep those vids coming.
Good stuff looking forward to more exciting vids, cobber ha ha.@@thecartwrights
My country as a yungan and an adult for 33 years. Back in the day you couldn't beat the great out doors where you've been travelling recently. I was the in Alice at the first Finke Dessert race
Left Foot Braking: If you're going to be doing lots of off-roading, it's a good idea to master a technique called left-foot braking.
I expect to start seeing these things in the American West. Then again you could pay for hotels for 20 years for the same price. Interesting looking at the difference in terrain. We have the same desert but with gorgeous mountain ranges. Can park between 8,000 and 12800 feet in California. I use Jeep. Moving blankets from Home Depot for $11 to sleep on in. Go simple.
Hey guys a question for you what purpose are the expanded wire/security mesh under the canopy door is it to contain the locking mechanism? Great channel,we done all most the same places last year but missed out on the fink races wrong time of year.
It’s for extra protection. So if something rolls around in the canopy and smashes into the door, it doesn’t damage the outer door layer and look ugly from outside
My old territory for 30 years
Amazing how much this looks like Utah in the United States. Half a world away and mother nature has made the same beautiful colors to the rocks.
I was super bored and just scrolling through TH-cam randomly, literally like an hour ago... then I saw this thumbnail of an AWESOME truck stuck in some mud, decided to click on it and now I cant stop watching your videos. PLEASE keep making them. Im really low on quality content at the moment. I have watched just about every vlogging family on the internet and now its your turn!! Im gonna binge watch everything you have and you will like it!! Haha just kidding, but seriously, Im gonna beast it. You guys are awesome. If you guys stop filming.... dont make me fly all the way there.... just saying 😂
Hey guys love the channel and content. Just wondering what milk frother you have?
A Kmart one. No idea what it is cause the logo has rubbed off from rattling around in the tray
Was hoping for more information and video of what failed in the front axel
He said near the start what happened. The right front c/v on the diff let go..
Hey mate. I mention it at the start of the video. The Front right cv exploded. And it took 3 weeks to get it fixed!
@@karl4834 I know but said more information. Showing what failed is interesting.
@@thecartwrights I know but would like like to see what failed. Not familiar with your vehicle seeing puts it in perspective. Great video by the way, you have no stop in your determination to get your rig out
Ahhh ok. I’ll look back in my photo history and see if I can find some photos to send you. Sometimes it’s hard to think of absolutely everything and put it in a video. Sorry about that mate
Not sure which video I saw it on, but can you please tell me what adapter did you use on your water jerry can to fill your caravan tank? And where can I get one. Thanks.
Pretty sure we just used the nozzle that comes with a standard jerry can. Our caravan actually just has holes to pour the water into..there was no adapter needed like you would when attaching to a tap fitting
👍
Great video as usual guys. May I ask what GoPro did you use at Palm Valley as it appeared that the stabilisation didn’t take over and ruin your footage.
my uncle went to Australia after the world war 2 married a Polish girl...and started a familie....I do love the country....have fun and be safe...
best wishes from the Nederlands....living there for decades,,,,bourne in Croatia.....still love your vlog...have fun

I wonder how you know when river stones are not going to explode due to moisture trapped inside the stones?
The difference between babysitting and parenting is.. if you are doing a good job it is parenting... if not it is babysitting as most dad's do 🤣
Hi guys, I'm new to your channel & think we have watched every video you've made 😊 great stuff . I'm not a prude but just a little word of advice , maybe tone down the Dad & Mum thing a little 🤔 ❤
Being from the USA I wonder why many Australians like yourself put a canopy on the back of these trucks and tow a caravan instead of building a habitat box like those expedition camper trucks?
Neither one or the other is better than the other. They both have their pros and cons.
Just curious 🤔
Nice track day! Great life.🎉
29:42 awesome cartoon 😎
Lots of Australians actually a camper or “habitat box” on the back. We just did it a little different. Each to there own I guess😊😊.
Thank you for watching. 🙏🙏✌️
One reason could be that by having a separate living arrangement you can leave it somewhere and go exploring places you couldn’t go otherwise.
If you find a nice spot and get set up, you are also able to go for supplies without having to pack up and potentially lose your spot.
✌😁
What happened to the diff and how much did it cost, more than we ever spent on #Smoky60Series
Very nice videos
Tip: can you show on a map where you are?
There was a map. But did we not explain it well enough?? We will try to make it clearer for future vids
Waking up to the Cartwrights on a Sunday morning with a coffee .nothing else matters
Awwwhh. Thank you. This comment has made our day. Absolute legend. Thank you, thank you, thank you
