And had a lot of great games of it's own, including kingdom hearts and final fantasy. I just mean at the time in my mind there was not competition. Plus final fantasy 7 was on PSP and I put sooooooo many hours into that game.

I have a PlayStation Portable back in the day. In the mid 2000’s, I have Burnout Legends, NFS Most Wanted, MegaMan, Sonic Rivals, Ratchet and Clank and Daxter (Jak & Daxter Spin-off).
Man, the modding community that the psp created really just made it the most consumer friendly device out there. I bricked my original 1001 like 12 years ago. This year, I bought a used 1001 for like 30 bucks, made a pandora battery, and unbricked my original. Then, my sister gave me one which died to a bad board early in its life, and so I replaced all worn components on both of the now working ones. I just added usb charging to both and replaced the umd drive in one for a 3500mah battery for 14+ hour charges. MicroSD adapters really solve the storage problem too. Such gorgeous, serviceable, and capable devices.
Given that you can even restore old batteries with new cells and how cheap replacement parts are, you can keep these guys running for forever on the cheap.
Yeah. Question is where can I find a PSP bundle new for a good sale price? They don't have them in stores anymore and I checked online but so many used. I prefer new. I want a PSP to play some PS1 games on there and play the physical PSP games

I will never forget the moment I seen a PSP in person. I was on the bus going home from middle school, when a older guy maybe 18 was playing tonyhawk I was mindblown by the graphics, as it rivaled my gamecube version.
PSP is literally the best portable console ever made I still use it to this date. I just played mgs peace walker this morning. And also cracking it up is pretty easy so I would really recommend getting one

We recently found my sister's old PSP and have made it a hobby to restore it back to how it was and get it working. We've managed to get a new battery and cover for it. Now all that's left is to get a memory stick.

I have two 1000s, a 2000, a 3000, a Street and two Go´s - black and white - in my shelf. Bought my first 1000 as an japanese Import model at release in early 2005. Just astounding, that, in 2019, devices like the Raspberry Pi with 1400MHZ are not able to emulate PSP games smoothly. This was an incredible machine.
My psp is broken and now i put it close to my ps4 as a memento that my mother give it to when im in 3rd grade. Im really happy because that time was not my birthday but when i come home the psp box just laying in the table. So unexpected. But now i got ps4, thank u psp

I still have my psp 3000 untill now and still working perfectly since i bought it. l mod it when it 1st came out, mod the battery to 9,000mah, used cf photofast adapter 2 raid 2 32gb into 64gb total storage and added handgrip speakers with built-in mp3 player and battery to charge my psp while playing. My overkill mod i have ever done on my psp.
Actually, you can still search and buy content from the PSN store on the PSP itself, even in 2020. Just wait until the error screen pops up, clos it out, and use the search function to find what you want (although there is alot of stuff gone or missing, but it still works).

my school bus in middle school went through part of the rich neighborhood picked up some of the rich kids, and literally once that thing dropped, four of them had it within a week. on the way to school we'd gather around and watch as they placed each other wirelessly in some pvp game. it was wonderful
I just found my forgotten PSP at the back of a drawer. Forgot how cool this thing was, i remember spending hours hacking it and spending hours downloading and playing emulated games. I might start playing it again just for old times sake.

Then I got 2 more plain black 2000s and gave one to my lil cousin. This thing was before smartphones so I used it for games, music, movies radio... The greatest portable game system ever.

My psp3000 original battery can still last 3 hours or more and in the best condition I've seen comparing it to others online.
