wish you would start in the LFM pro series or VEM endu series on ACC. The field is strong, with you it would be off the charts.
He said in the stream he won't do lfm pro because everybody there is an esport driver and you can't jump in and drive you got to practice and that's why he doesn't do lfm pro
LFM Pro Series I'll definitely start doing soon, will probably start this week. VEM I missed the qualification stages, hopefully next time🙂

Glad to see you back on ACC, I don't know what it is but I really just don't enjoy watching the rennsport races, something doesn't feel right with the way the game looks.

I know right? It's mainly the FOV. They locked some settings for the competition and however the drivers compensated made the game look horrible.
You never know what 2024 is gonne bring for you. The sim racing and racing industry is a weird place with alot of changes going on. Positive and negative. Just keep pushing forward and you will end up somewhere. You have the skills, connections and mindset to do it. Go get them!
You should drive for the LFM Pro series, the level is insane!

Hi James (or anyone else fast), do you have some advice for driving the AMG? I want it to be my main car but it's so stubborn, I have to set it up in a way where I'm able to keep it under control on throttle, but that results in heaps of understeer on entry and mid corner. I haven't been able to figure out a driving technique and/or setup where I can keep it under control on throttle but also be able to rotate mid corner.
Any tips for new Sim racers all? I absolutely love it, my T300RS doing me justice. But I can't nail a clean brake and turn to save my life... always either too early, or too late

Wondered if you have any view setting updates I have fov 48 as I run a single 32inch screen approx 65cm distance, using your position of -14.8 and height of 4.2 with pitch of 1 on your latest video i notice cannot see much on the on screen wheel so wondered if you have changed if so would you mind sharing I must say since I have a decent fov and your settings I have shaved 3 seconds of my laps times so thanks in advance

Are raceroom doing the road to DTM series again. Lohner and Heineman have gone from sim to real race seats via that route in recent years.
I believe so yes, looks like it's just a cash prize pool this time around tho, no real world drive.
How great did it feel to be back on ACC after so long on Renn Sport? You need to give the McLaren 720s Evo a go, that thing is insane if you can control it. I know being part of Merc probably makes that hard but still.
It feels great to be back on ACC & other games. I definitely need to try that thing as I did so many laps in the old Macca.
@@Jaaames Automobilsta 2 recently updated and added the newer GT3s including the Merc Evo and Macca Evo as well as LMdH and Le Mans. I'd recommend that as well for something different. They're DLC though so you have to buy the ability to use all that stuff but still I've been enjoying it and I play on controller.

I honestly feel the cheating allegations along with some faults like ACC tuning exploits have driven some players and sponsors away!
The entire concept of sim racing is to simulate a racing experience! In all reality it should be equally as difficult to put up IRL laptimes in Sim racing! Instead the tuning exploits or what ever you want to call them take away from the authenticity of some of these events!
If I was a sponsor and dumping in tens of thousands of dollars or even hundreds of thousands into putting on events, I want to see different cars and drivers winning on different tracks!
I along with many lost some interest in ACC when many cars became obsolete and tuning meant spins ridiculous things that shouldn't work!
Add in the cheating allegations on Iracing and F1 and struggling to detect or prevent it makes for a very poor representation of what sportsmanship should be!
I've personally completed in several games and sports. Everything from soccer, to golf to Billiards, and of course sim racing and in the past Madden (2003)
While winning is always the goal and it feels great to win, winning at all cost by taking advantage of exploits DOES NOT make something look good!
It's the same as Baseball players using Corked bats, Boxers using illegal hand wrap materials that turn hard as a rock as they get wet, Golfers using special wax and polishes to reduce spin with their drivers to carry the ball further and hit it straighter! When it gets to the point where the competitors say "Well everyone does it" you're on the down slide and have to fight to regain the respect of those who sponsor such events!
It also doesn't help when you have events being sponsored by known human rights violaters!
While making money is great, it's not the end all to be all! There's something to be said about Sportsmanship! Which is something lacking at every level of sim racing, we especially saw it with some of the Rennsport events!
Sim racing has the potential to be AMAZING but it takes the entire community as whole! There must be major consequences for poor sportsmanship! Just because it's a video game and no one can get killed, doesn't mean someone won't suffer a major injury to their hands or wrist one day! Some of these wheels can apply more than enough force to tear ligaments and tendons!
I hope the game manufacturers and those putting on and participating in these events take the next step! It's a shame when LFM has to be the one to make vehicles competitive again like on ACC.

There's another real GT3 race car driver that states ACC is not a sim. He drove his real life car in the game and said it not the same. Dose the GT3 car you used to drive feel the same for you as in ACC ?

Yeah that guy who's last name rhymes with "Bad" is notorious for having a bias opinion due to conflict of interest. But there isn't really any point arguing over which sim is more "realistic" because an opinion like that is so subjective and meaningless to the average consumer that will never drive a GT3 car irl.
