- Pastor Mark Driscoll has called out the Jezebel spirit in operation at a recent men's conference hosted by pastor John Lindell. The conference had many events, including a male stripper that danced for thousands of men. Mark was kicked off the stage by John Lindell for confronting this performance. Many argue that Mark is in the wrong. What do you think?

1) As Paul did, someone should have commanded the evil spirit in that man who works as a male stripper to be delivered for him to be reborn and give his life to Jesus. We all missed what Bible in Acts 16:18 tells us, we all need to repent, too and pray to be more as what Jesus would do to see souls set free and come into the harvest forThe Kingdom of God. 2) Pastor John should not publicly expose other growing Christians to unclean spirits & give permission to satan to perform thru that man who works for a living stripping, to perform within a sanctuary of God, that Pastor John, he supposedly as he later stated being the father of the house authority of, he tempted others to sin, that the Bible warns us not to do too in Matthew 18:7... as woe to him!
In related warning to those saying we did this or that, Lord Lord in your name and He replies depart from Me, workers of what? Iniquity. The Greek speaks to a lawlessness which sadly can arise with or without awareness. What law is broken? I call it the Peter Principle. Kingdom of Heaven hard to understand because most earth governments today lack Monarch on a throne. Jesus asks pointedly whom do the people say I AM? Followers reply with scripture-based possibilities, yet wrong answers. Now, who do YOU say I AM? Peter of all people gets the answer and praise for having AVOIDED (a) Public sentiments or (b) independent thinking. He responds to God’s Son with obedience, receiving Holy Spirit answer and responds empowered. This is the foundational ROCK upon which our KING builds HIS Church. Hell never prevails or wins against this tried and true formula. No man attending this gathering heard and obeyed the Father. They certainly did not ask or obey in staying. In-equity simply means non-equality to God’s way of doing things. Those who accept, live and practice loving obedience daily inherit treasure above because how can we love the Lord if we do not obey him? That treasure is authority in this life and the next.
This was not an offense against Mark Driscoll personally, IT WAS AND IS AN OFFENSE AGAINSTGOD!
YES, an abomination AGAINST GOD! If they really want to see a Stronger Man, look at the meek, the humble, the one speaking the heart of GOD over HIS people! Not the one that rips his shirt off, full of muscles climbing a pole with a sword made of metal. It is the heart of a simple man God seeks in the privacy seeking God in prayer for HIS direction. Pastor John will be corrected by GOD since he fails to receive a gracious correction by a brother. Also, John is completely WRONG about Matthew 18. It was all a public event. It wasn't an offense toward Mark. It was a open offense and strange sacrifice before the LORD GOD. Whew! It's not John's church. It ALL belongs to GOD! Everyone in that room better get right, get in linne and turn away from that in full surrender to GOD, not John. He needs to STOP using the Word of GOD to justify his sin.

Had the pastor done some private offense, then Driscoll should have first gone to him privately to give him time to repent. Since the Stripper's actions were so blatant and had an immediiate effect on others, Driscoll was right to address it publicly.
I agree that Pastor Driscoll was right in addressing this publicly. What I don’t understand is why men weren’t running out of there in droves.

Notice people left when Mark was asked to leave. However, why were they still there when a male stripper began performing? Yes, at least they responded the second time, but that is the issue. We must stand against such disgusting things, not AFTER someone says it first!!! Be the first to stand!
They probably didn't realize what they were watching until Pastor Mark brought it to their attention. Doesn't matter when they left, they left and stood up for what is right.

First off, a big red flag when you look up “who is John Lindell”, it says he is, “pastor, speaker, author of Soul Set Free, and New Normal”. I’m curious about his “Nee Normal”. So many churches are adopting this mindset of being relative to the world today. Which is a red flag.
You can even hear other men clapping in agreement with what he was saying. Those who know the word of God and spirit lead know what they saw was wrong. That pastor needs to wake up.
Mark did exactly what needed to be done. That other pastor needs to repent for allowing that to happen under his leadership. Pastor Mark should not have had to do that if Pastor Lindell did what he should have done. This is an absolute disgrace. The church is not to be like the world!

I agree; Pastor Mark Driscoll was RIGHT -- and courageous to confront this "in public". Pastor John Lindell was "very wrong" and he was in fact, "out of order". I am very disturbed and "angry" that this took place and a Pastor -- of all people -- condoned this type of activity.
These types of activities CONTINUE to show that we can "no longer" TRUST a lot of our leaders anymore and that we have to be on guard for EVEN them...

I didn't know Mark before my stepson told me a couple days ago that he and his friend have been listening to him. When I first heard this news I was thrilled for him, until Mark came back on stage with a different message.

In his defence, do we know the context of why a stripper was there? Was it to make a point, and was that point then conveyed to Mark who seemed a little unsure when he was on stage thinking am I doing the right thing. We have all been there when we have been compromised on something. I am sure he is thinking it through right now. Let’s keep praying for him that he might and all of the pastors there might repent.

If you watch the full clip, Lindell goes up there and gaslights everyone. He said that he is the one willing to call out the man of God (mark) and call him out for something he should have said privately. It’s gross. The church needs to hold John Lindell accountable for things like this!

I also don't agree with Lindell's interpretation of the situation. The offense was committed against the whole group there (and against God), not just against Driscoll. It was good to hear all those men shouting their dispelasure after he was asked to leave.

I was at this conference with a group of men that graciously bought me a ticket. I am fairly new in my walk, but all of us were pretty weirded out by the idea of the shirtless guy at a mens conference that is supposed to be about God. The entire conference was covered in mammon like items, but as a mens conference, we had an understanding that it helps to draw people in. When Mark spoke, you could feel the conviction in that arena. Most people walked out with him. Our group stood in the hall and debated about whether to leave, or stay and attempt to worship. When John and Mark came back out to talk, John really showed who he is. I didn't know who either of these men were before this conference, but Mark showed boldness and humility, while John showed nothing but rage and pride. Our group and many others knew we were in the presence of something unholy and left. It's my understanding that the entire event closed early, from the amount of people that left. I must say that a massive amount of people were saved at that event. I just hope that they, like myself, learned something very important about this walk. I am glad that I was invited to this conference, but I can say without a doubt, the group I was with, nor myself will ever come back.
You may be fairly new in your walk with our Lord Jesus, but the Holy Spirit has already given you more Wisdom, which You've taken to heart, than lots of our brothers and sisters in Christ...who have been on their journey with Him, longer! May God bless you abundantly each day.

It was religious hypocrites that crucified our Savior. God said, "Be you holy, for I am holy." Human nudity is a snare and putting a stumbling block in front of God's children is blatant rebellion. The perfect love of God in Mark Driscoll strengthened him in shining a light on false teaching and immorality.
When I look at the usual suspects entrenched in the prosperity Gospel and those who Preach moral and Biblical prosperity to enormous congregations whom they convince is earned not by paying for your sins through prayers for forgiveness and repenting for the sins you have committed and through the power of Jesus refraining from repeating those sins . But merely by how much money you can pay to live a Biblical double life. It’s so obvious to me just how much control Satan has over some of these people. I’m amazed there isn’t many more cases of spontaneous combustion everywhere they hustle

Pastor Mark can be a bit of a bull in a china closet. However, Jesus is our example of what to do and Pastor Mark followed that example. So very nice to see a man stand up for what God says is wrong and not just let it go. So so refreshing! Fear God not man. Never be afraid to take Jesus and Marks example no matter how “uncomfortable” it makes you feel. Rather feel sick and scared than be blind and disappoint the Lord.
