    This is great. When? Also, next we really need to catch up to all the other VTTs and add animated tokens, maps and map overlays that we can import ourselves.

    When do these lighting additions drop? When is the next unity update?

    Great work. These look fantastic. Are you planning to add other variations like a Flashlight or a Bullseye lantern?

    Hi I am new to Fantasy grounds got unity a while a go and have been using live build only. but me and my players are really liking these features.
    my question is what is the difference between the dev build and the test build and how stable ever is.

    • @FantasyGrounds
      @FantasyGrounds  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      While the TEST build seems to be very stable at this point, we recommend people wait until it is moved to LIVE before running any official campaigns on it. With any of our TEST or DEV channel builds, there is a chance that you could experience problems or even data loss. With our TEST channel, we try to minimize this as much as possible, but some risk is still present.

      @@FantasyGrounds Thanks for the reply. really looking forward to the lighting.
      I have been using dungeondraft to make my maps with light baked in but that has never been a great solution. they look great but no interaction.

    When I try to do this for an image / map, my "Default Play" options - the pointing hand - has no list of actions. I just have "zoom extents". I can't find anywhere to Enable / Disable Line of Sight. There's no lightbulb on any of the toolbars either that I can see.

    • @prospero2000usa
      @prospero2000usa 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Never mind - I didn't realize this isn't released yet. On the wiki I see it's coming in version 4.1 - I'm on 4.0.

    • @DougDavison
      @DougDavison 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jim Weaver 4.1 is available in the TEST channel. You can switch channels in your Settings and run an Update if you want to play with it early.

      Can we expect these types of masks to be preconfigured in modules we buy from Fantasy Grounds?

    • @FantasyGrounds
      @FantasyGrounds  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@UndergroundPlus302 we have the capability to include this info. It will probably be similar to how we provide LOS today. Some products will include them and others will not. We now have the ability built into FGU to allow people to define the data and export it out of FGU directly. This should help us work through our back catalog much faster with the help of our community.

    You told us how to add light - but what about deleting one that you misplaced? I can only click and add lights so far. I need to get rid of some.

    • @DougDavison
      @DougDavison ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just select it and delete it. Change the mode to select mode instead of add mode.

    • @quentinmanley9388
      @quentinmanley9388 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DougDavison thanks. I can’t find a specific delete button. But I found that if you drag the light icons off the map window they disappear.

    • @FantasyGrounds
      @FantasyGrounds  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@quentinmanley9388 I mean the delete key on your keyboard. There is a select mode you can turn on first so that you are not adding new ones. Then once selected (either individually, or by drawing a box to multi-select them), you will seem them marked to indicate they are selected and then press delete or backspace.

    0:22 Wait? What? What's this? The shrinking list feature? Is that an upcoming feature?

    • @DougDavison
      @DougDavison 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It has been in our CoreRPG based rulesets for some time now. Look for the + and - buttons to collapse or expand the headings and the sub-content. It works similarly in the Library window as well.
