Blood bikers (wrongly in my opinion) are not allowed to go over red lights or above the speed limit so no point in using the siren at lights or when traffic is going as the posted speed.
Different calls have different rules. High priority calls allow trained riders to jump lights but on lower priority calls blue lights ad sirens can only be used as an indication to other road users it's an emergency vehicle is there, especially when filtering through traffic as being a rider myself I've had many close calls where people have pulled out in front of me to change lanes. On a blood bike it's even more important they don't crash as they can be carrying confidential information on patents (lab results) or biohazards such as blood and organs that need to be delivered promptly and all a crash does is put more pressure on the NHS as well as his fellow blood bikers who are left with his workload and call outs. That and a £20,000+ bill for a broken bike that the rider does not own.
@@NochEinKamel blood bike riders aren't actually allowed to blow through red lights like emergency services, as they are not technically trained. They have advanced licences and that's it nothing special. He can use his blues when he wants to on any blood run as all blood runs are "urgent" within some degree
There was no call for him to use the blues and twos he wasn't going to an emergency and the way he cut of the white 4x4 at the traffic lights was unbelievable this video should be shown to the police and he should be prosecuted for the offence and illegal abuse of an emergency vehicle
He's on a blood run. Shame on you and others for trying to disparage the work they do to save lives, for free I might add. These men and women aren't paid to do this. Blood bikes have different rules on when they can use lights and sirens, they aren't allowed to blow through red lights unless it's an absolutely urgent ride. They are allowed to use their sirens to pass traffic however, so what he did is absolutely acceptable and id like to extend a big fuck you for your unkind words.
Seems a little strange to put the blues n twos on to get through crawling traffic, and then wait at all those red lights.

Same why was he using the blues and twos when he was heading back to the office
Till 2:00 Why did you stopped at the red lights if you are into an emercency run?

Abuse of privilege I think
So you do use your blue lights and siren to get back to base on time ,
Then stop at red lights , ???
I loved the Pan, one of my favourite bikes.
Cannot understand why blues & two's were switched off ? If they are 'on' I kept mine 'on' ?
That looked like fun well done my good man.
Is that rear view mirror attached to the screen standard on all Pan Euros? It looks like a really useful bit of kit.
Turning sirens on and blues just to move through traffic. Didn’t think that was allowed.

I'm struggling to think of another reason to have blue lights and sirens. Just saying.
It's not it's against the law
@@philiprush5754 You know he's a blood bike rider right?
Yet he stops at red lights. Either it's urgent, then you go all the way or it's not urgent, then you don't use special rights.

How do you know it wasn't an emergency?

You sir, are an accident waiting to happen, plus using the blues and two’s to get through traffic when returning to base. Appalling abuse of resources
