I grew up in Richmond, Rhode Island (location of the first RI blunder) and recognized that Arcadia State Park fire danger signage right away. I think I screamed out loud when I saw you dropping the point in the south! Great stream as always!

No joke, if you do this again, where will you announce it? Because I will join and absolutely ruin your day :D This looked super fun! I think you should make it 1000 bits next time, and maybe make it infinite..... I think the potential issue with 1 time/state is that it will just become "get every state twice", which, I think it's way more fun if you keep having to get MA or something lol

Lol i play California so much, the Central Valley ones were easy, as they would be for anyone, but the Tehachapi guess i knew instantly, ive been fooled by it before but for some reason it clicked, and i wasnt even the one guessing

Idea then if you try again. No limits on what states can be removed. But 1000 bits for first time state removed 2000 for 2nd time 3000 for 3rd 4000 for 4th. And 5000 for the 5th and 5 being the limit per state. Yes can be expensive for multiple renewals, but it gives for example, someone from Rhode Island the opportunity to shout out their homestate. It also allows for further torture on your part, but becomes more rewarding for you if you get someone who is a masochist in your stream.
I bet you’re gonna have PTSD from hearing the bits sound for a while
@ChicagoGeographer, is it the smallest 5 states by area, smallest by least Street View coverage, or the smallest by number of locations on An Arbitrary US?
By area, it'd be Rhode Island, Delaware, Connecticut, New Jersey, and New Hampshire. You made Hawaii immune, but not New Hampshire. Everyone who removed NH should go back and donate double.
Also, how long did this exercise in masochism take in time?

By land area and excluding water the 5 smallest are RI, DE, HI, CT, and NJ

Presumably if you take miles of roadway * percent paved roads you can get an approximate likelihood of encountering each state. I was able to find both sets of numbers pretty easily.

I really like the new Minnesota flag. I wish my current state, Kansas, along with the other generic “state seal on a blue background flag” states would follow suit
if you do this again you should just make the price for removing go up each time instead of capping it :)
I'm confused how Hawaii was one of the "five smallest states". It is not one of the five smallest by any metric.
It's the geographic size of the state excluding water (because water can't be mapped by street view). So just land area basically

The most random state where is Iowa
14th on total miles of road but 50th place for % paved roads. Street View doesn't bother with unpaved roads, making it less likely to encounter Iowa
