Since it gets so tough at the end, maybe give yourself a chance to make the squares bigger, such as if you get a 5k.

It'd be fun to watch you do multiplying squares for the us only, which is definitely your strong suit.
There should be a reverse format where you attempt to break your way out from a certain depth of difficulty, maybe that could become a speedrun challenge... though I guess there'd need to be some form of automation for it

Getting 5K on a round could let you cut the number of squares by half.

The squares should get smaller based on how many squares away you guessed from the correct location
These maps with the squares are so good
Maybe reduce the multiplier (2x grows too fast), _but_ if you miss the right square twice in a row it's game over.
Honestly best Geoguessing I've ever seen, considering you were out of practice.
I found this extremely entertaining, you are very very criminally underrated my guy.
You got to start small and then when you get it right you gotta go higher till no longer a box
This would make more sense if they multiply if you guess correctly - then it is an actual test of skill

I think it would be better to get more lines in for a certain amount of right guesses.
So you could count the successful rounds and restart once you get a round wrong.
Of course not doubling every right guess, but maybe like +1 oder +2 lines per right guess.

Some of those right-on-the-border locs were ridiculous! The square gods were on your side this time lol
First level (double) takes one life, second level takes two, third takes three and so on. If you 5k you get one life back. Two 5k in a row means half the squares (not applicable to level 1). 1 or 2 minute time limit per round. Survive for as long as possible.
Pretty cool concept
I’d like to see this concept again but with 1 minute on the timer and moving allowed.
Also this would be fun with a few other pros if you stay no moving.

This is cool but 2x2 = 4, maybe instead of “muliplying each row” you can say 20 rows, 10 collums = 200 in total, then do that * 2 and calculate the rows and collums, so from 20x10 you can go to 25x16 instead of 40x20 ,this will also change the lines of each section to a different position, but this way it is actually multiplied and its a bit less rough per mess up

You should do the same idea, 1 strike each, and end the video when the location is on the border between quadrants

I liked this idea. Maybe rather than doubling each mistake you make the difficulty go up slower. Perhaps the Cols will be 15+15X, and the Rows will be 12+12X where X is the number of mistakes. Cheers.

I might be dumb, but what is the downside of adding squares? You are guessing regardless. Is it just that it covers the map more?
You have to guess closer and closer every time the squares multiply.So what could be the right square for the first round could be completely wrong for later stages of the game
