Hey man, why I can't reformat the scheme on my 4TB WD external? It shows that it has failed "The disk is too large to be supported by the given partition scheme. : (-69659)" ... please HELP!
The movie I'm playing off my thumb drive is not playing smoothly. There's a slight strobe which is noticeable especially when playing moving shots. Could this be related to the quality of the thumb drive? if so, what do you recomend?
The problem I'm having is I put apps on my Sony a8g, I added an external hard drive and within a month they wipe clean and the hard drive isn't good anymore. I've went through 5 already.
I did this and it didn’t help. I have a 2020 hisense 65 tv and I bought many different usb drives and my tv won’t use them as extra storage. It just says ready to eject. I tried everything. Any ideas?
@@TechandDesign I used my computer to format it, I contacted Hisense, they said to set it to factory settings and put the usb in then start it. I bought different usbs, the newest one I have is a Samsung usb drive. No matter what I do it just says ready to eject.
Hi Guys, I`ve just purchased a new TV (Panasonic) and I have a external hard drive which has movies comedy`s etc but my Tv won`t recognise my hard drive but gives me the option to format my hard drive before use but I`ll lose all that's on my hard drive, is there away I can fix this without losing everything I have.
I have seagate 1tb hdd and sonyx90j. When i use send files to tv app i cant use external hdd as default for receiving files. In file manager i can access my hdd and play videos. Any solution ?
Only one app can transfer files to external hdd. Wireless file manager by vignesh . Otherwise only other alternative is to transfer by laptop or mobile after disconnecting from tv
hi, i try to do this in a mac book but there is no scheme to chose from in the menu, it only has name and format. i tried it and it doesn't work. please help.
here's my experience. i download a lot of shows (tv, movies, anime) yes im a pirate lol. one piece ftw! anyways-- in my experience this is what i know. it's hard to find a tv where it'll read your hard drives upon plugging in. majority of the time, it'll say corrupt and needs to format. you HAVE to format it in order for it to work. but wait-- once you do format it, and plug it into your phone, tablet, or computer (i have android and have tried it) your system will now say that it needs to be formatted again so around and around you go. my standard for tv is very high. it HAS to recognize my device once plugged in without formatting

The second option worked for my TV! FINALLY. I was struggling with this for a long time. Not anymore, thanks to you.

Hi Sir I have SP Silicon 1 external TB Hard drive. Ut is not connecting to my TV via usb port. I have another TV where it get connected easily.

Sorry but... exFAT's maximum file size limit is 16gb, better to go with NTFS. Just saying, I am not a Mac Guy either...

you would need to backup everything and properly format . however nowadays I would recommend just stream everything
