Huh, I've never really felt intimidated by Athena, but then again I work with her mostly as Athena Ergane (her handicrafts aspect). She demands "arete" (personal excellence) from her devotees, but not in a strict or overbearing manner. She just wants you to try your best and practice your crafts with as much skill as you can.

Medusa was originally a gorgon, the myths about medusa being a mortal woman as well as the arachne myth are Roman myths about Minerva, not Greek. Athena is also good to work with if you don't fall into the gender binary. Athena is also associated with invention as she invented a few things. It is also my upg that IT stuff falls into her domain (she's helped me a lot with computer stuff) I personally feel a better understanding of 'metis' would be to translate it to 'cleverness' as it's about knowing how to use your knowledge and skills. She was my first deity after she reached out to me and she had been absolutely wonderful, not intimidating at all to me personally.

There were coins discovered known as the "Owl of Athena," which bear the Greek letters alpha, theta, and epsilon. These letters form an abbreviated term for "of the Athenians." The coin, valued at a drachma, was colloquially referred to as "glaukes," meaning "owl" in today's language. This is similar to how "loonies" are used in Canada to refer to their currency featuring a loon. The "Owl of Athena" coins were minted to honor the goddess Athena and make an excellent choice for a pendant.
I listened to a "meet your god/goddess" guided meditation intending to reach Artemis bc she reached out a few days ago after i started working with apollo. And there she stood. Not artemis. Athena. So now im here.
Thank you for introducing me to Athena. I'm from a diff cultural background and I didn't know she can be worshipped. I had an extremely tough year and the energy I felt from my ancestors is exhaustion and worry for my well being. During this time, Athena's numbers kept popping up and eventually your Athena tiktok ended up on my fyp. I'm still continuing my research about her but I feel like I finally found the deity that's been calling to me. The more I learn about her, the more parallels I see between us including our flaws. I cant' wait to start my journey with her but I just want to give you the biggest bear hug and thank yous through this comment section haha
Hey Good looking! So Three years ago I've had experiences, always hearing Owls, moved to another state, The first day I saw an Owl on the front lawn. Seeing Palindrome numbers all the time, having my third eye open a few years ago and seeing ugly spiders around me and killing them with ease. Athena came to my conscience last week after Hurricane Helene and I'm convinced it's Athena who is guiding me. I wished I knew sooner!
