    I recommend black obsidian bracelets and pendants to keep you grounded and stress free. Along with black tourmaline.

    Thanks for giving light to the ancient Hellenic polytheism ! there's few people talking about Hellenism in USA but be sure that there's no other religion more beautiful, more perfect and more rich that Hellenism in all Occident ! all the concepts, the words, the thought, the culture, the notions, the philosophy, the mathematics, the art, all ! was created and developed by the ancient Greek people ! thanks to the Hellenic religion, and thanks to the gods ! and not even many people is understanding really the concept of god ! and there are a lot of gods ! heroes, titans, myths and you could be years talking about Hellenism !

    Thank you for sharing 💜
    I once did a deity invocation, but I gave the wrong offerings to the deities. I lit INSENCE to Vesta and a candle to DIANA 🤣
    Another time, I worked with Diana, Apollo and Vesta (in a wiccan ritual) and just lit a candle and drew a circle 😁

    • @FeltheBlithe
      @FeltheBlithe  2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I don't think one can really go wrong with incense and candles, I've lit both for Hestia before!

    So happy to see your Hermes altar♡ Whenever I have my own house I will have a special altar for him where I will save the Letters I will write to him as a devotional act (also I am learning Greek as a devotional act).
    Right now the only thing I was able to do is : I made a teeny tiny golden box my mini Hermes altar. I printed the caducues and glued it inside and put some coins I found instinctively in my house. I also have some prayers printed there. Is that okay?
    Also, I love these informal videos because they help me understand better what it is to be a Hellenic Polytheist ♡
    Thank you so much Fel♡
    I am just starting my Hellenic journey and you are the best source of information I could find because i cant afford many stuff rn
    Thank you again♡
    Btw, i f you read this... Do you have any idea how to make a protection talisman blessed by Hermes (was that disrespectful?) because I live in a really dangerous city fr... And I believe he is protecting me and has been protecting all my life👉🏻👈🏻

    • @FeltheBlithe
      @FeltheBlithe  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's ultimately up to you! I would personally say a prayer over it or annoint it in frankincense oil. But there are dozens and dozens of ways to make talismans! I suggest looking up some methods here on TH-cam

    what's the source material for contemporary practice of ancient Greek pre-Christian religions/sects/cults? Are there extant manuals that the priests, priestesses or oracles of these deities left behind? Is your worship a re-construction, not necessarily true to the ancient worship methods?

  • @PrecariousPorcupine

    Hope you don't mind me asking, but could I have multiple Gods on one altar, or would that be offensive to them?
    I have a very small bedroom, not enough room to do multiple altars 😅

      it would be fine especially if they are associated with each other, like Demeter & Kore or Apollo and Artemis for example
