Man, the EARS 👂 on Davie. They look 👀 like a cab 🚕 coming down the street with both doors open. And that’s not an insult because one of my best friends had that problem and he was the sweetest person who ever lived. 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😇😇😇
❤ watching these old TV Westerns. Unfortunately some of these Bonanza episodes r sound deficient. Pity... anyone else expirencing this. Thx from Australia
*SOUND PROBLEM REMEDY* I figured out a while back that when they upload videos with messed up sound, little sound or no sound like alot of the ones this person uploaded that if you use headphones or a separate speaker such as plugin speaker or bluetooth speaker that you'll be able to hear every thing normally. I don't know how or why it works, but that's actually how I watch these things and have sound.
Saddles under the native's blankets? Is that right? I thought they just threw a blanket on the horse and rode without a saddle..? Noticed they were using the zip, pow, bam music FX made popular by the Batman series of the time (sans the words)
@@brendagray3374 Today big water filtration companies like Nestle go into towns and take over water rights by choice of local politicians. The towns folk can’t get enough water. Either way it’s still not quality water. Enough of my rambling on! How’s your day going so far??
Indian women are amazing they are obedient loyal and faithful they stand by there men at all costs and they don't interfere when men do men things no matter what it is unlike Caucasian women

Knife/hammer and axe fights are something that can be awkward to stage as, unless the camera is precisely at the right angle, you can see the actors/stunt performers 'pull' the weapons so that they don't hit the opponent, and as good as the Bonanza standings are, you can still see this
The writing and casting for this episode was poor in general. Since when does a sheriff have jurisdiction to go after one Indian for killing another in their land and since when do they even care.
Yea, but on the other hand in our times, when there is a native issue in the news and they show an interview with a native person, the person who they are interviewing often doesn't look native at all.
I agree with Pernell Robert's ( Adam) views on how race was portrayed in the show... I love Bonanza, but this was the 1960's - 70's and should have been more progressive. Whites, and Mexicans should not be portraying Native Americans - perhaps there weren't many Native actors/ actresses back then, but Hollywood could have gotten plenty of Natives from reservations and even major cities like Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Portland etc. ; paid them and used them as actors/ actresses.
It's acting... anyone can portray anyone. I am more interested in their acting abilities. That female playing the native was a terrible actress. I would have swapped her for a diversity hire and still think it was an improvement...
I remember the Paiute indians in NW Nevada where I grew up. The Yute indians lived in east Nevada. Interesting!

Really good episode of bonanza
In Defense of Honor
Episode aired Apr 28, 1968
Hoss: "She is pretty, real pretty". It really stands out that whenever women are concerned in Bonanza, they are always judged by their looks only.
To many years buying bulls/cows and horses !!!

I NOTICED 60'S BATMAN STYLE MUSIC AS WELL❗😂😂
I must find out where those Indians got their laundry done... their cloths are cleaner and more wrinkle free than mine!
They drink more coffee than I have ever seen
Should name this episode man caught in the middle!!
An eagle or more had to die for the Chief can wear his bonnet. Poor eagles. Sad to see that many die so a Chief can have a pretty bonnet 3-15-2022
Amazing
Mumbo , perhaps. Jumbo , perhaps not .
The new lawman is a real jerk. What happened to Roy Coffee?

I’d like to see the way Hoss would greet a black guy at the door.
Hoss: “WhaaaadUP my nigga”
Black guy:” WhaadUP fat Cracka!”
😂

THE INDIAN LAW IS BETTER THAN THAT OF THESE CROOKS.....
Why would the Indians bring to town one of their women... and then leave her sit outside? They would not have brought her along in the first place.

@@Tadaia Agreed.
Never seen a native with curly hair before-- the actors they had as 'Indians' in those days were laughable.

She's been eating her curly beans, 😀
