Hello Ken. I have toured Germany some years back and yes my group and I ate and drank beer at Hofbrauhaus, a famous beer hall in Munich, the food was amazing and the beer was really good served on a huge 2 litter mug. The tables and chairs were similar to what you see in that restaurant too, picnic table style, in fact their even much larger. The place was packed as it was near their happy hour time and the staff were all garbed wearing their traditional dresses. Unfortunately the waiters were not that hospitable as it was hard to get a table and the service was poor as they mostly ignored us. Can't blame them as the customers at that time were so many that you can hardly move around, even going to the toilet is a struggle.

What an amazing way to have German food in a Filipino restaurant with a Chinese buddy the Asian way....international indeed...😂 Yeah, that's how we Asians usually eat where we share the food hence everyone gets to taste all the food ordered. Interesting, isn't it?
Good review and it's great that the food is authentic except the mashed potatoes. Fun video as always. Thanks Ken. Looking forward to watching you and Joseph try Chinese food. Cheers and good day.

I have German parents, but I was raised in America and grew up eating a lot of German food. I always preferred rotkraut over sauerkraut behause it’s sweeter. I love scnitzel, tar tar, and beef rollaten. Brat kartoffeln, kartoffel salat, spätzle. Apfel pfannkuchen and streussel kuchen with apples, blueberries, or rhubarbs. My favorite beer is dunkel bier. I am not a big vegetable eater but I love ground spinach. Of course I love leberwurst, Blutwurst, weisewurst, etc. I miss the fresh Brötchen from the bäckerei.

I tried German food in the Philippines at the German Club in Makati. If you have access there then that would be great because of Germans dine there. I was in Germany in 2019 and I loved the currywurst, the pork knuckles and my all time favorite the sauerkraut. Oh! I also enjoyed the lemon pie I tried in Dresden. Yes in Adelaide South Australia schnitzel is very popular. In Phuket Thailand we have eaten at a German restaurant that did a delicious buffet and at another restaurant in Phuket we ate at another German restaurant and my husband ate the same Jaeger schnitzel like you just shared.
When you filmed the meal the best film was when you put the camera on the other table on it's legs.

I'm 50% German heritage. My Great-Grandparents immigrated from Europe in the late 1880's and early 1900's. My Grand-parents would make us Wiener-Snichel, Bratwurst, Liverwurst sandwiches, etc. My favorite German food has always been: Gingerbread. I haven't been to Germany. I'm 59. My Dad was stationed in Germany in the US Army from 1957-1959. I believe Frankfurt. He loved going to the Fatherland and serving the US Army. He shared many stories with me about spending time in the German Pubs drinking beer with his mates.
