I LOVE your custom caps! Just stumbled into them the other day (new to the custum kb community lol) and they're some of the best in my personal opinion. Idk why but I've been on binge of either purple pink or gold or combo so I would take that kb real quick!! Haha no need for purple and the subtle gold just 😍😍😍😍🔥🔥🔥🔥

@@shoganai2545 You need to have some experience using many mechanical keyboards. Than You will understand. Actually I am using my own modified version of MX Cherry Silver witch rubber orings :) Sooo comfortable and silent

thy infant I have to agree. As much as it is cool to customize a keyboard to fit your style it is not worth paying over 200 dollars for something cheaper prebuilt keyboards already match

I think the main problem was his mic quality rather than the board itself.

Damn Minterly... is my kinda sound / aesthetic. That's some of the best I've seen.
check out WT Studio's KBD75 build with lubed gateron Milky yellows. it's here on TH-cam and I think it's as close you can get to that kind of sound without breaking your bank account.

This was extremely satisfying I never knew people made so many choices when customizing the internals of a keyboard. So many tiny changes that affect the sound

Yeah it doesn't sound that great but I would also blame the sound on the potato that this guy used to record that video.
its a pretty bad mic, very echoy room and a lot of sound editing, not the keyboards fault
I just built a DZ65RGB V2 with Gateron Blacks with milky top housings as well, I love how they sound. Definitely my favorite sounding switches.
Last one was the perfect example of best one is left for last.
Quarantine brought a lot of people into this hobby, including myself. HHKB Layout is my favorite.

I love building simple stuff and keyboards are so simple to do for us tech nerds! Really everyone should try to build a custom board. I have not built a full board yet just swapped switches and caps. But I have had a bunch of fun watching builds and learn about stuff. I have two mech keyboards that I have been playing with, but I would like to build one all the way from the ground up. I am really in love with my Ducky Mech Mini though. Man after lubing the MX brown switches and swapping caps this thing just feels so good. Like nothing I have ever experienced before!!!!
That copper acrylic mix sounded pretty freakin wild. I loved it
It's so refreshing seeing all these setups with custom keyboards. Whenever I see a kickass gaming setup or work station it's so painful to see something like a Corsair K70. It's not a bad board, but a custom ties it all together so nicely, and if you're going to go with a badass setup... might as well make a badass keyboard with it, right?

God those alpacas are so satisfying.
The Satisfaction 75 (3rd keeb) is at least $400 for the board alone, not to mention the price of switches (~$90), the keycaps (~$135), and the other small bits (Christo-Lube 129 is ~$20, the tx switch films are ~$10/pack, stabs ~$5 to $30). And those numbers don't include tax or shipping costs.
All considered, this keyboard build is probably in the ballpark of roughly $700 USD... Dang.

wow some mech superstars featured in this episode Alexotos, Minterly and BT! good job! I'm working on my own custom keyboard this year but you know how GB works so it should be done in Q4 2020, maybe I will submit cause it going to be awesome and crazy expensive for a keyboard, still wondering how I got dragged into this, probably I have to blame TaeKeyboards for that.
