@CleverUserName1234 Considering the modlist has been long unsupported, is very unstable, isn’t something I’d recommend for a proper playthrough, majority don’t use Wabbajack (let alone the specific modlist)… that is pretty irrelevant. The modlist itself isn’t incompatible. The installer for it is. You can get it working on GOG if you know what you’re doing. It is purely for background footage while I continue work on my modlist, which will work with both. Shilling would also imply I don’t make it known that I benefit when I make it abundantly clear. Not only do I actually use the GOG versions myself. But it is also for a specific situation of people wanting the perks that come with it.
Looking forward too Fallout London. Just cause it's going to be such a unique Fallout experience we haven't had before. Want to see how it plays compared to regular Fallouts. And they've been working on it for like 3 years now?? At least 2 ?? The maps must be as big as London itself? Honestly I think a Fallout experience in another country is well over due as whole world suffered nuclear apocalypse not just America yeah? Just be interested to see how it goes in a different country with fresh perspectives on it or something like that . After that looking forward to Fallout Capital Wasteland and the Pitt remake. Pitt my favourite dlc. (My toughest raider character from 3. Literally guy is tough with medium leather armour. Kept him looking proper raider style not like some bs armoured walking tank. He never been decapitated or head shot off and he's early 30's level. He's my own personal legend anyway.) Then after that Fallout 5. Not holding my breath for that one . As in how long will take to come out. But will hopefully be good and if Bethesda devs will actually listen to the fans and make improvements of what they didn't do in 4??? Hoping that Bethesda will actually listen to the fans of its games is sort of like hoping the heat-death of the universe won't eventually happen; if they've gone this long and haven't learned anything, I'm not overly hopeful they'll do so now. True thats actually normal now. it's actually harder to find an industry that does what its costumers want. Tv, News music, movies, cars, games, social media, Netflix...... its probably best just not to tell them what you want because they do the opposite. its like they just take notes on you're complaints, and enjoy any way to make it worse for you.

I think it would be hilarious if Bethesda just came out regarding Fallout London and just said "yeah, sure, that's canon." It's a win-win where it does Bethesda's work for them, fans get an internationally focused game, and the modders behind it get one hell of a warranted ego-boost.
All I expect is the insertion of monetization, bug fixes that will create 2 more bugs per 1 bug fix, and just outright breaking the game Modders worked so hard to fix. I also expect all mods to break and the game to break. As old as the game is, the only reason to put resources into a release, is to make money from it. I foresee spending uncounted hours fixing the mods I run and the core game itself.

@@Generation0-te1rg That is what I will do on 1 machine to ensure I keep old mods as a running backup of the old game files and mod files. I will have the updated game on a separate machine and go from there. Who knows, they may actually fix it and update it to a better playable state. So we will see.
Bethesda has intended all along to release the FO4 next gen update timed to the release of the TV show - that is why when the writer's strike delayed the show, Bethesda delayed the next gen update. They are also gauging the reaction to re-monetizing Skyrim to see how far players will allowing with FO4. As for the New Vegas content, it is very likely that might be something like the Gunners Plaza content from Fallout 3, where we "travel" to a location. It is unfortunate that Bethesda continues to focus on expeditions-style content - which is little more than expanded daily ops. While everyone initially tries each of these new content releases, that quickly drops off once people realize it is simply more daily ops.
All these mods, all these years after initial FO4 release, and all these massive future mods, I think about all those people, amazing and incredibly talented people, and the community around them, they've inspired others and keep others going. Nothing is possible without those people, people around the world, normal like everyone else, that just want to create and share. I thank every single one of them for their talent and discipline ❤️
I'm definitely planning by making my GOG copy the mod list copy and the steam version the bethesda update copy. Also console versions. Kinda sounds confusing for me to play fallout 4 right now, but honestly this year I'm really feeling myself into the fallout content groove. I love the characters and stories in fallout thanks to my introduction in fo4
Fallout bug has bit me hard this year. Burned through Fallout 3 for the end of last year, now making my way through Fallout 4 and doing my first “Institute” run. New Vegas ofc is my favorite but i have played that one to death lol. The originals are also chock full of great stories
btw why do people keep saying "Institute" when mentioning the institute? XD They just seem like the extreme lawful route of fallout 4. unless if there was already an institute in fallout before the one in fallout 4. and yeah! i can acknowledge new vegas and the classic fallout games are great. but the other world, story, and characters still grab me as a casual fan of fallout. fallout is a fun mix of dark comedy storytelling and genuine wholesome moments to show that the world in fallout is not a heckscape that cannot be recovered.@@biggimmicke
The graphical upgrades given to Skyrim SE took it from looking like a game from 2006 to a game from 2009. Hopefully they give it another remaster for next gen in five years and they can make it look like a game from 2011. Then and only then will I stop talking to myself.

Criticize micro-transactions all you want, but no need for spreading misinformation. It just devalues genuine criticism.
Let's hope there's a NV 2 someday. I also hope Bethesda listens to fans and changes what they did to the Boneyard in the tv show. It would also be cool to see more Fallout comics and books.

Being honest, if Bethesda can handle parallel development i beg for it. Their games however always feel like an iteration of the previous one. They’d argue it’s a strength, but realistically i think its causing their development to stagnate and Starfield is proof the Bethesda formula needs updating, or at the very least some restrictions.
You can’t expect short release windows and quality games. Some games that have become a gold standard almost pushed a decade of dev time, but they also had crunch time to squeeze the time down. You want bethesda to do a much better job, you gotta give them a longer release window, 7 years is pretty reasonable.
Microsoft should give the Fallout IP to Obsidian. They are releasing The Outer Worlds 2 this year, so they could start development on FO5 this year and release by 2028. It could be a spiritual sequel to NV, without the need to be NV2 or even be set in the Mojave.
Regardless of what the content consists of.... I'm just extremely grateful I have the game on GOG, which means (assuming it's coming to that version), I won't need to update until I'm ready to do so (AKA: when all my favourite mods also have updates)... and none of that will require jumping through hoops. We'll see.... after the last several months, in particular, I'm not exactly optimistic about anything Bethesda does these days.

So, are they going to make Fallout 4 unplayable for us with older rigs, like they did with Skyrim SE and AE? I have legendary Skyrim reloaded because the newer stuff outgrew my pc. The sad thing is, I upgraded my pc when Cyberpunk originally came out, CDPR blessed me with an update that makes that unplayable as well. At this rate I will soon only be capable of playing Pong, assuming I can find a pc version!
And now I want a Super Mutant charging headlong into combat, and just performing wrestling moves on enemies. This is more Wild Wasteland/1&2 fallout then you probably think. This would be a fun companion for a game.

Their game engine is out of date to the point where every world they make feels souless and dead. Its actually like they dont even try compared to other game companies. Like compare watch dogs NPCs to bethesda games NPCs. Hell even an older game like battlefield hardline had more realistic NPCs Their games feel like they belong on an older console. Like its a game I would have played on PS2 as a kid.
considering Europe has had strict gun laws for many decades, i wonder if the combat is going to be more melee focused. Guns would be a rare thing there and you just wouldn't find ammo laying around in crates across the country.
In fallout 4 I pulled a enclave and made lore in order to excuse the NCR and many people from the west to come east. The minute men ended up mixing with the minute men.

I've long since copied my entire game folder including the FRSE and placed it on a secondary drive. Whatever something goes wrong in the game (I do tend to run roughly 900 mods) I highlight and copy that, and drop it into my game folder. This is something I would suggest everyone to do, especially with the update coming. Because like you mentioned, with Paul London coming out soon is going to be based on this version of F4SE. Download the mod, highlight, copy and paste.
yknow, fallout originally was just like Baldurs Gate 3. The company just died and they sold the franchise to bethesda who turned a gritty, dark, realistic, nuclear tech post apocalyptic barren desert with no life into a bright colored 50s shoot em up small cramped map full of everything in every square mile Seeing how BG3 had a huge success... i'm guessing bethesda could've done better and kept the style. But NOOO.. we all know they just refurbish their skyrim engine into lackluster third persons that require mod galore to even be playable, if it doesnt crash every 4 minutes.

oh yeah, been playing Fallout Tactics and i absolutely love it, especially when hearing R Lee Ermey as General Barnaky (seriously i'd love to see Sergeant Dornan from Fallout 2 get on a yelling match with him). i don't care if it's "non canon" since it's made by Interplay / Black Isle and has Ron Pearlman as the narrator (so it counts)

I mean, the series has also annoyed fans by apparently doing away with the NCR off-screen. LA is one of the main centers of NCR civilization in the lore, and is almost entirely re-built. But the series trailers show it as if it's still nothing but a wasteland. The problem with the Brotherhood is that they're shown as being too powerful when the NCR should totally dominate that entire region, and had slapped down the Brotherhood hard in the war the two factions fought not too long before the time-frame series is supposed to start. What happened to the NCR? Why is there an NCR flag in the background of one promo photo, but nothing else to suggest they ever existed?
The unfortunate fact for us Elder Scrolls fans is that wait time and BGSs recent track record being less than stellar. BGS has never released a sub par mainline ES game going all the way from Arena to Skyrim & they just fumbled 76 & Starfield so they need a home run to keep fan confidence. I sure have been nervous about ES6 since Starfields release it just feels like BGS is losing their magic touch. Either that or I’m getting older & more cynical & critical of them.
Same, after starfield I have no confidence in TES6. Bethesda needs to stop hiring blue haired land whales and pronoun nazis, and just hire modders to develop their games. These modders are incredible, Bethesda should just sub the work out or hire them permanently.

The only thing bad about Starfield for me was the normal setting out to a quest on a map and being waylaid by several other things on the way being absent.
Their game engine feels like it should have been around in PS2 era. I doubt they will ever make anything good. Fallout 4 and NV are probably as best as they can accomplish.

In my opinion the most predictable thing on the update is that they will update the engine to 76’s version with a couple of bug fixes, unlocked FPS cap and 120 on consoles. Oh and be ready for the paid mods (Rebranded to Creations) that they just added to Skyrim and ruined everyone’s mod list lol and in turn broke most mods especially ones that haven’t gotten updated in years
The thing with the Airship is that this TV show supposedly begins early on in the Fallout Lore which in turns doesn’t make sense for the Prydwen to be there all at since (lore wise) it was made from scraps of the mobile base crawler after the battle with the Enclave in Fallout 3. However the BOS did have smaller Airships in Fallout 2
Wonder how it would be if they did a spin-off that mixed FO with Elder Scrolls. Let a starting class system be involved so you either start as a Dark Elf Mage who starts to really like guns or... imagine some bandit learning magic (and enchanting bullets) and getting a litttle too involved with the Skooma.
Well I mean the whole Dunwich and the ancients lore, and the architecture, screams dwemer. There is a fan theory that the dwemer "disappeared" to the fallout universe and that the ancient God Ug-Qualtoth is the leader/king of the dwemer. The name Ug-Qualtoth is suspiciously Deadric sounding
@Demon-. I am not sure if the Dunwich lore started in the first 2 games, my first experience with it was in FO3 at the Dunwich Building Also a reference in FO4 at the Dunwich Borers Location. Cool flashback/horror sequence

My biggest worry about remasters is them taking out or changing content drastically. Im more excited for Oblivion because personally it seems the most ugly and awkward of their games. F3 and FNV is sort of endearing and nice, a remaster would be cool but, too much change or removals and it wont feel the same. There is something really cool and better about having multiple games in one, aka Fallout 4 New Vegas, Fallout Capital Wasteland, and Fallout 4 in one save/game much like I enjoy TTW with F3 and FNV in one game. Cause then not only do i get all the cool F4NV and F4CW content, I get all of F4's mods from weapons to whole dlcs like Fallout London ON ONE GAME. IMO, thats way better than getting the same game twice with better graphics. I love F3 and FNV but, I already have them and played for years since release to present.
I feel bad bc, after the halo Series, i am NOT excited to see what this show has to offer, I get very annoyed with shows and its a bummer, and with tge updates, i feel mods are 10x more important than the shit BGS actually puts out, the modders are the only reason i play Fo4 and i dont play Fo76 bc of how restricting the fo476 engine is. The game annoys me. Right now I've been sinking my teeth in America Rising 2. I dont want updates. I dont want a shitty TV for general audiences. While I don’t hate the idea of remasters I’d actually prefer new games and new content. Just seems low effort, make old game look nice and repackage it and resell it as new. That’s being fairly generous too, BGS games look “ok” at best per any current standard at the time of launch. It’s like a visual mod for Fallout 4 and Skyrim. Looks great but after a couple hours of doing the same thing I’ve done dozens times before it’s a bit boring. The discovery of new locations, new lore (even the tiny details), new weapons, new builds, ways to min max and exploit new game mechanics. That’s what’s interesting to me. I can already tell you how to min max and exploit game mechanics and every single little detail and location in the Fallout 3 and Oblivion remasters years before they port them into the latest version of the engine we all hate so much.

You me like Hollywood is doing with movies? And musicians do with covers? It's annoying af, but every artform is already doing that. Music has been doing it the longest out of all of them.
I think it would be pretty cool to have a fallout set immediately after the bombs fell, as a non vault dweller who survived in a personal built shelter. Have a similar mechanic to the radiation storms in Vigor. Have little warning of what direction the wind is coming from making for some frantic gameplay trying to find proper shelter. Make it really open ended and have a non voiced protagonist again. Maybe bring back the karma system, make it so you can truly be evil if you want. Rebuild society, or join/start a raider gang. I typically do the good guy playthrough because i prefer that, but being evil in FO4 is impossible, you're just kind of an asshole at worst
I think the Frost survival mod for 4 is about the earliest timeline for the game. Like same time line the Survivalist has in Honest Heart's? But yeah I think your idea is good.
excited to watch the fallout tv show, myself i really just love getting introduced to all new characters in fallout and i really hope this leads to more storytelling possibilities for fallout. everytime i get into my fallout binge, i get excited to experience character's stories including my playable character in fallout.
Here is my estimated release timeline. Tes6 2031, fallout 5 2039, starfield 2 2056, tes7 2066 and fallout 6 will be an irl wasteland after the nukes fall in 2077
As to the lore conversations, I remember these exact conversations regarding Prime's Lord of the Rings. The fans were ignored, the lore was ignored and the show flopped. I *DO NOT* want Fallout *reimagined* and I'm already seeing signs that checkboxes have been checked. Bethesda falling in line with Holllywierd is a fatal mistake in my opinion. No interest in 76 until we get the promised private servers (privately run, not Bethesda run) and actual mod support. 76 has been an uninspired dumpster fire since day 1 and really hasn't improved much over time. Bethesda's curated mods fall far short of expectations. Starfield...well, it's boring and lacking in actual content and it's largely dead until they release the Creation for Starfield. A delay of a year largely kills Starfield's future. Don't get me started about how tone deaf BGS with their release dates not aligning with customer demand. With all of the fracturing of the modding community in recent years (stares at Nexus Mods), good luck actually having an audience by the time modding resources become available. 5 year release cycles are asking alot of their customer base, 10 plus years is simple incompetence.

I personally play Fallout 76 daily and am hyped for the expansion that has ben long overdue. I am also hyped for the new remasters of Fallout. I love the series and will be playing any Fallout content I can get my hands on.

What a year for us Fallout Fans. The Series maybe activates a whole new generation of Fallout nerds, Fallout London is a dream many of us been looking forward to come true, fallout 76 gets a big content update which is a thing i love personaly. FO76 was the Fallout game i played the most during the past few years.

Now imagine if Bethesda actually devoted it's resources from 76 into what Fans really want. ES6 and the next Fallout could be moved up to a reasonable time frame instead of a decade out. I'm not saying drop 76, tho it would not break my heart if they did, just reprioritize and realize what Fans actually want.

Looking forward too Fallout London. Just cause it's going to be such a unique Fallout experience we haven't had before. Want to see how it plays compared to regular Fallouts. And they've been working on it for like 3 years now?? At least 2 ?? The maps must be as big as London itself? Honestly I think a Fallout experience in another country is well over due as whole world suffered nuclear apocalypse not just America yeah?
Just be interested to see how it goes in a different country with fresh perspectives on it or something like that .
After that looking forward to Fallout Capital Wasteland and the Pitt remake. Pitt my favourite dlc. (My toughest raider character from 3. Literally guy is tough with medium leather armour. Kept him looking proper raider style not like some bs armoured walking tank. He never been decapitated or head shot off and he's early 30's level. He's my own personal legend anyway.)
Then after that Fallout 5. Not holding my breath for that one . As in how long will take to come out. But will hopefully be good and if Bethesda devs will actually listen to the fans and make improvements of what they didn't do in 4??? Cause if they do , then myself and the rest of the fans would really be presented with a great new Fallout game there. Maybe even FNV good?
Then Cascadia,as I've seen all the trailers now. And looks like a real pro looking mod. All new content, quests and main quest etc. And heard it's going to be good sized map as well.
Oh and the show for sure. I've seen more than a few critics slag it off so far. But I'm definitely leaving judgement til I see at least first two episodes. BoS in NCR territory, and they are not fighting each other, must mean must mean they signed a peace treaty some where?

True thats actually normal now. it's actually harder to find an industry that does what its costumers want. Tv, News music, movies, cars, games, social media, Netflix...... its probably best just not to tell them what you want because they do the opposite. its like they just take notes on you're complaints, and enjoy any way to make it worse for you.

I think it would be hilarious if Bethesda just came out regarding Fallout London and just said "yeah, sure, that's canon." It's a win-win where it does Bethesda's work for them, fans get an internationally focused game, and the modders behind it get one hell of a warranted ego-boost.
All I expect is the insertion of monetization, bug fixes that will create 2 more bugs per 1 bug fix, and just outright breaking the game Modders worked so hard to fix. I also expect all mods to break and the game to break. As old as the game is, the only reason to put resources into a release, is to make money from it. I foresee spending uncounted hours fixing the mods I run and the core game itself.

@@Generation0-te1rg That is what I will do on 1 machine to ensure I keep old mods as a running backup of the old game files and mod files. I will have the updated game on a separate machine and go from there. Who knows, they may actually fix it and update it to a better playable state. So we will see.

Bethesda has intended all along to release the FO4 next gen update timed to the release of the TV show - that is why when the writer's strike delayed the show, Bethesda delayed the next gen update. They are also gauging the reaction to re-monetizing Skyrim to see how far players will allowing with FO4.
As for the New Vegas content, it is very likely that might be something like the Gunners Plaza content from Fallout 3, where we "travel" to a location.
It is unfortunate that Bethesda continues to focus on expeditions-style content - which is little more than expanded daily ops. While everyone initially tries each of these new content releases, that quickly drops off once people realize it is simply more daily ops.

All these mods, all these years after initial FO4 release, and all these massive future mods, I think about all those people, amazing and incredibly talented people, and the community around them, they've inspired others and keep others going. I'm definitely planning by making my GOG copy the mod list copy and the steam version the bethesda update copy. Also console versions. Kinda sounds confusing for me to play fallout 4 right now, but honestly this year I'm really feeling myself into the fallout content groove. I love the characters and stories in fallout thanks to my introduction in fo4
Fallout bug has bit me hard this year. Burned through Fallout 3 for the end of last year, now making my way through Fallout 4 and doing my first “Institute” run.
New Vegas ofc is my favorite but i have played that one to death lol. The originals are also chock full of great stories
btw why do people keep saying "Institute" when mentioning the institute? XD They just seem like the extreme lawful route of fallout 4. unless if there was already an institute in fallout before the one in fallout 4.
and yeah! i can acknowledge new vegas and the classic fallout games are great. but the other world, story, and characters still grab me as a casual fan of fallout. fallout is a fun mix of dark comedy storytelling and genuine wholesome moments to show that the world in fallout is not a heckscape that cannot be recovered.@@biggimmicke
The graphical upgrades given to Skyrim SE took it from looking like a game from 2006 to a game from 2009. Hopefully they give it another remaster for next gen in five years and they can make it look like a game from 2011. Then and only then will I stop talking to myself.
Something to keep in mind when thinking of the Fallout show, look at the Rings of power show and how they handled the lore of that show. Amazon doesn't care about lore. Lol

Criticize micro-transactions all you want, but no need for spreading misinformation. It just devalues genuine criticism.
Let's hope there's a NV 2 someday. I also hope Bethesda listens to fans and changes what they did to the Boneyard in the tv show. It would also be cool to see more Fallout comics and books.

Being honest, if Bethesda can handle parallel development i beg for it. Their games however always feel like an iteration of the previous one.
They’d argue it’s a strength, but realistically i think its causing their development to stagnate and Starfield is proof the Bethesda formula needs updating, or at the very least some restrictions.
You can’t expect short release windows and quality games. Some games that have become a gold standard almost pushed a decade of dev time, but they also had crunch time to squeeze the time down. You want bethesda to do a much better job, you gotta give them a longer release window, 7 years is pretty reasonable.
Microsoft should give the Fallout IP to Obsidian. They are releasing The Outer Worlds 2 this year, so they could start development on FO5 this year and release by 2028. It could be a spiritual sequel to NV, without the need to be NV2 or even be set in the Mojave.
Regardless of what the content consists of.... I'm just extremely grateful I have the game on GOG, which means (assuming it's coming to that version), I won't need to update until I'm ready to do so (AKA: when all my favourite mods also have updates)... and none of that will require jumping through hoops.
We'll see.... after the last several months, in particular, I'm not exactly optimistic about anything Bethesda does these days.

So, are they going to make Fallout 4 unplayable for us with older rigs, like they did with Skyrim SE and AE? I have legendary Skyrim reloaded because the newer stuff outgrew my pc. The sad thing is, I upgraded my pc when Cyberpunk originally came out, CDPR blessed me with an update that makes that unplayable as well. At this rate I will soon only be capable of playing Pong, assuming I can find a pc version!

I've long since copied my entire game folder including the FRSE and placed it on a secondary drive. Whatever something goes wrong in the game (I do tend to run roughly 900 mods) I highlight and copy that, and drop it into my game folder.
This is something I would suggest everyone to do, especially with the update coming. Because like you mentioned, with Paul London coming out soon is going to be based on this version of F4SE.
Download the mod, highlight, copy and paste.
I'd really like to see BGS scale up and do parallel development. Their franchises are too big and too loved to only see releases every 15-20 years.

yknow, fallout originally was just like Baldurs Gate 3. The company just died and they sold the franchise to bethesda who turned a gritty, dark, realistic, nuclear tech post apocalyptic barren desert with no life into a bright colored 50s shoot em up small cramped map full of everything in every square mile
Seeing how BG3 had a huge success... i'm guessing bethesda could've done better and kept the style. But NOOO.. we all know they just refurbish their skyrim engine into lackluster third persons that require mod galore to even be playable, if it doesnt crash every 4 minutes.

Lee R Ermy played a high ranking brotherhood soldier and elder in fallout tactics, i am annoyed that we don't see some tribute to him involving the brotherhood of steel.
oh yeah, been playing Fallout Tactics and i absolutely love it, especially when hearing R Lee Ermey as General Barnaky (seriously i'd love to see Sergeant Dornan from Fallout 2 get on a yelling match with him). i don't care if it's "non canon" since it's made by Interplay / Black Isle and has Ron Pearlman as the narrator (so it counts)

I mean, the series has also annoyed fans by apparently doing away with the NCR off-screen. LA is one of the main centers of NCR civilization in the lore, and is almost entirely re-built. But the series trailers show it as if it's still nothing but a wasteland. The problem with the Brotherhood is that they're shown as being too powerful when the NCR should totally dominate that entire region, and had slapped down the Brotherhood hard in the war the two factions fought not too long before the time-frame series is supposed to start. What happened to the NCR? Why is there an NCR flag in the background of one promo photo, but nothing else to suggest they ever existed?

The unfortunate fact for us Elder Scrolls fans is that wait time and BGSs recent track record being less than stellar. BGS has never released a sub par mainline ES game going all the way from Arena to Skyrim & they just fumbled 76 & Starfield so they need a home run to keep fan confidence. I sure have been nervous about ES6 since Starfields release it just feels like BGS is losing their magic touch. Either that or I’m getting older & more cynical & critical of them.

The only thing bad about Starfield for me was the normal setting out to a quest on a map and being waylaid by several other things on the way being absent.
Their game engine feels like it should have been around in PS2 era. I doubt they will ever make anything good.

In my opinion the most predictable thing on the update is that they will update the engine to 76’s version with a couple of bug fixes, unlocked FPS cap and 120 on consoles. Oh and be ready for the paid mods (Rebranded to Creations) that they just added to Skyrim and ruined everyone’s mod list lol and in turn broke most mods especially ones that haven’t gotten updated in years
The thing with the Airship is that this TV show supposedly begins early on in the Fallout Lore which in turns doesn’t make sense for the Prydwen to be there all at since (lore wise) it was made from scraps of the mobile base crawler after the battle with the Enclave in Fallout 3. However the BOS did have smaller Airships in Fallout 2

Wonder how it would be if they did a spin-off that mixed FO with Elder Scrolls. Let a starting class system be involved so you either start as a Dark Elf Mage who starts to really like guns or... imagine some bandit learning magic (and enchanting bullets) and getting a litttle too involved with the Skooma.
Well I mean the whole Dunwich and the ancients lore, and the architecture, screams dwemer. There is a fan theory that the dwemer "disappeared" to the fallout universe and that the ancient God Ug-Qualtoth is the leader/king of the dwemer. The name Ug-Qualtoth is suspiciously Deadric sounding

My biggest worry about remasters is them taking out or changing content drastically. Im more excited for Oblivion because personally it seems the most ugly and awkward of their games. F3 and FNV is sort of endearing and nice, a remaster would be cool but, too much change or removals and it wont feel the same. There is something really cool and better about having multiple games in one, aka Fallout 4 New Vegas, Fallout Capital Wasteland, and Fallout 4 in one save/game much like I enjoy TTW with F3 and FNV in one game. Cause then not only do i get all the cool F4NV and F4CW content, I get all of F4's mods from weapons to whole dlcs like Fallout London ON ONE GAME. IMO, thats way better than getting the same game twice with better graphics. I love F3 and FNV but, I already have them and played for years since release to present.

While I don’t hate the idea of remasters I’d actually prefer new games and new content. Just seems low effort, make old game look nice and repackage it and resell it as new. That’s being fairly generous too, BGS games look “ok” at best per any current standard at the time of launch.
It’s like a visual mod for Fallout 4 and Skyrim. Looks great but after a couple hours of doing the same thing I’ve done dozens times before it’s a bit boring.
The discovery of new locations, new lore (even the tiny details), new weapons, new builds, ways to min max and exploit new game mechanics. That’s what’s interesting to me. I can already tell you how to min max and exploit game mechanics and every single little detail and location in the Fallout 3 and Oblivion remasters years before they port them into the latest version of the engine we all hate so much.
The mod will come out after and it probably will work with the new programming. The team making F4 London will probably sell the mod on the new store.

I think it would be pretty cool to have a fallout set immediately after the bombs fell, as a non vault dweller who survived in a personal built shelter. Have a similar mechanic to the radiation storms in Vigor. Have little warning of what direction the wind is coming from making for some frantic gameplay trying to find proper shelter. Make it really open ended and have a non voiced protagonist again. Maybe bring back the karma system, make it so you can truly be evil if you want. Rebuild society, or join/start a raider gang. I typically do the good guy playthrough because i prefer that, but being evil in FO4 is impossible, you're just kind of an asshole at worst
I think the Frost survival mod for 4 is about the earliest timeline for the game. Like same time line the Survivalist has in Honest Heart's? But yeah I think your idea is good.

As to the lore conversations, I remember these exact conversations regarding Prime's Lord of the Rings. The fans were ignored, the lore was ignored and the show flopped. I *DO NOT* want Fallout *reimagined* and I'm already seeing signs that checkboxes have been checked. Bethesda falling in line with Holllywierd is a fatal mistake in my opinion. No interest in 76 until we get the promised private servers (privately run, not Bethesda run) and actual mod support. 76 has been an uninspired dumpster fire since day 1 and really hasn't improved much over time. Bethesda's curated mods fall far short of expectations. Starfield...well, it's boring and lacking in actual content and it's largely dead until they release the Creation for Starfield. A delay of a year largely kills Starfield's future. Don't get me started about how tone deaf BGS with their release dates not aligning with customer demand. With all of the fracturing of the modding community in recent years (stares at Nexus Mods), good luck actually having an audience by the time modding resources become available. 5 year release cycles are asking alot of their customer base, 10 plus years is simple incompetence.

I personally play Fallout 76 daily and am hyped for the expansion that has ben long overdue. I am also hyped for the new remasters of Fallout. I love the series and will be playing any Fallout content I can get my hands on.

i just hoped that fallout london mod would be standalone much like enderal is for skyrim , lets hope it will be in the future .

It should only break F4SE mods, which Bethesda can’t avoid. But it should hopefully not be too bad. We will see.

What a year for us Fallout Fans. The Series maybe activates a whole new generation of Fallout nerds, Fallout London is a dream many of us been looking forward to come true, fallout 76 gets a big content update which is a thing i love personaly. FO76 was the Fallout game i played the most during the past few years.
I hope the enclave are in the tv show or them in the shadows plotting something

@@RustyPudder-q7c true and then they turned into the eastern enclave and got decked by the brotherhood but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t still enclave thats still powerful just in hiding or haven’t left a military/government vaults yet. Personally in my head canon thats how its going is theyre more manipulating from the shadows now
Modders are the real MVPs! Make sure to hit up your favorite modders paterons! Even a few dollars helps!
Now imagine if Bethesda actually devoted it's resources from 76 into what Fans really want. ES6 and the next Fallout could be moved up to a reasonable time frame instead of a decade out. I'm not saying drop 76, tho it would not break my heart if they did, just reprioritize and realize what Fans actually want.

You can be sure that BGS won't do anything about New Vegas. They avoid New Vegas like a plagues.
With Starfield, less than optimal performance, this feels like a cash grab from Bethesda.
