You cannot deny the joy these guys have on their faces whilst playing this. It is a pleasure to see musicians revamping an old song in a new way and having a blast doing it.
Somehow the lead singer with his awkward goofy moves comes off cool. I really like this band and this song and the lead singer. There is passion in him. Bravo.
While I love any band fronted by Mike Barfield, I really miss him performing with The Hollisters. I wish they would post their videos. I lost all mine in Hurricane Harvey! Countless photos & videos of them!
Love the song personally. I have a hard time finding a bad interpretation. Roy Buchanan, with Billy Price vocals, toured with the James Gang (without Joes Walsh). They open for Alice Cooper on the OOAK Nightmare Tour. Roy was Nils Lofgren's mentor and the kid managed to make a career out of it.

Dave outside of the Paladins kills it...
The cd with this song on it can be bought through Amazon.
And that, is just about as good as it gets.
These guys play just about perfectly. Not a tighter band out there.

Yow! Dave playing with a broken E string!
This is a very different interpretation.

Reminds me of Big Head Todd and the Monsters.
