Fab reviews, I wanted to get one but was overwhelmed by how many types there are and only knew about ring branded doorbells.

Good reveiw. One J10 has just been delivered by Amazon. Now just to find the time to set it up. You make it look very easy, and hopefully dont have to read the user manual that comes with it. Very small manual with very small printing, but the info is in it. My eysight ast 78 is not as good as when I was younger LOL. Thanks.
Bought a similar device from same manufacturer on Amazon. It won't connect to our wifi. Needs 2G and we apparently have 5G so it is going back. Nothing is ever as easy in a lot of cases leading to frustration. Now looking for a simpler non-wifi option. Glad it worked for you.
Thank you so much. I was having difficulty in pairing the speaker and obviously trying too hard as you made it so simple.
The alarm area grid pattern is also confusing as it doesn't tell you if the highlighted squares are the areas that you want covered by the alarm or the area that you do not want covered by the alarm. One demonstration says that it is the latter but I think yours is correct.
Your time and making a very clear video is appreciated.

That was great. Some Questions Please (it's late - sorry if I missed something you've covered)
a ) can they be paired with home security cameras ( say you might one for the back garden and the side passage ) in one system ?
b ) how do you charge it ? How often would that be ? Can they be hardwired ?
c ) I guess if you chose Cloud Storage, your wifi would need to be permanently on ?
d ) I guess it records sound with the video ? If so, how far is the range of the sound ?
e ) Does it only active with motion ? Will a passing car set it off ?
f ) How sensitive is the microphone when it's recording ? I've read that some of them can record clear audio at 15 metres, so that neighbours should be careful what they discuss as it will pick up these conversations
g ) Did you contact your insurance provider to see if they offer a discount for this upgraded security feature ? If so, what was their feedback ?

When the motion detection records a movement does it make a sound. The reason I ask this is I don’t want it making a sound ever time someone walks past my house. Great video by the way
No they don't make a sound when the motion detection detects someone walking past.

Quick question, can you view recorded videos from the sd card on the app (without removing the sd card)?
Yes you can view the videos
I've inserted an SD card AND subscribed to the cloud. I started with just the SD card in mind, but a neighbour's was smashed off his door. He had no cloud storage. Having spoken to the police too (and, as you can guess, crime and anti-social behaviour in my area is why I decided to get one) they also recommended a cloud subscription.
Will footage save to both? And what does the 'video switch' option do? Thanks.

Hi, thanks for the intro. I've just bought the J7 (May 2024). I am struggle with activating the SD usage rather than cloud. Have you got any tips about activating the SD card and setting it as the default option? Cheere

I got a similar type of doorbell and the same app but I got some issues and want to ask if you got the same or not. If yes, maybe you found a solution and can help me ?
1. The doorbell sound is also playing on the mobile. I can't change it or change the loudness. And I tried everything in the settings to switch it off but there is not such an option. (Only for the phone reminders and the external WiFi chime).
2. I can set the loudness of the doorbell's loudspeaker from low to high or switch it of. That setting is for my own voice when I want to talk with the Visitor. But it is also for the Bell Sound the Doorbell makes when someone rings it. And when the setting is loud, the voice would be clear and good understanding but the bell sound would disturb the neighbours.
What are your experiences? We got slightly different video doorbells but the functions and the surface in the app is exactly the same.
Or can any other user help?
I own one but I would like to change the alert to wake me up at night if the motion detector recognizes a Perón at the door ,
But I can’t find where to change the alert sound .
Can you get an audible alert when motion is detected?
Hi, do you know how to change the settings so that the camera starts recording when motion is detected? My videos always seem really late, like someone walking away from the door or a car driving away. It never seems to record the approaching car or person. Thanks

How long will I have to leave the doorbell before I have to recharge it. And how do I charge it up if it is on the door
You can use it for several months before having to recharge it, and you need to take it off with a pin and recharge it inside using a usb lead.

How can I get mine to record all the time instead of just when it picks up a motion detection?
I've got the MR02 and it's suddenly stopped pairing with the chine. I've tried everything but throw it through the window all it does is keep ringing my phone like I have a visitor any help would be very greatful thanks
My mum got this doorbell, I’m laughing at how only 2 ringtones are just normal doorbells and the rest are nonsense 😂

Hiya I've just brought this doorbell I'm using cloudedge and for the first few days it's been working well but today its not notifying me of movement outside, I'm so confused as I've not changed anything, also when I'm playing a video back of something that's just happened outside its playing something from the previous night....I'm so confused plus I'm not good at these things 🤔

Hi i have bought this camera because of your review. It wont send me the screenshot and option to answer unless im actually inside the app. My phone vibrates but nothing comes up on the screen if my phones unused. What am i doimg wrong i cant seem to find options to change this
Probably need to setup the app notifications within your OS.
Dose this take a micro memory card or do you have to pay for it like ring???
You can put a Micro SD Card in, you don't have to pay for a subscription
