my top three digital cameras. Canon 20D, my second dslr but unlike the 10d the 20d could handle moving subjects. Canon 1DX an Amazing camera I shot with for 5 years. Sony A9 MKI the first camera I owned with a stacked sensor, which opened up the world of silent shooting, a real game changer.
New cameras do not have much to offer for the added costs. I have an Olympus OM-1, and yes, the AI bird detection and 240fps 1080p video are both nice to have, but I could probably have taken 90% of my photos with a used $500 Olympus E-M1 Mk.II. If you are a TH-camr with a very limited budget, then getting a used 5-10 year old high quality camera would be a great way to start.
Just bought it myself, it's incredible what this little guy can do. I absolutely loved all the time I've spent with it so far. Amazing work of art, and I simply cannot miss with the new AF chip.
Just in the process of choosing between XT4 and ZVE1... I shoot both stills and video, even in low light conditions. In your opinion, which of these cameras would be better for outdoor (and wildlife)? And how much less reliable is plastic Sony in comparison with metal Fuji in practice? And yeah, thanks for videos!
You won't regret the X-T4. It's awesome and brilliant for wildlife, particularly with the Fuji 70-300 and 1.4 teleconverter if required. That lens along with the Tamron 17-70 for the X-T4 and you're set for almost all videography needs. Plus, they're great for photography. The colours alone are a great reason to get an X-T4
AutoISO on Nikon is super easy. Just flick the front dial when holding the iso button. You don‘t even have to remember the direction. It works both ways. So you don‘t have to scroll down a whole list of values, it’s always just one click away. Also another ‘hidden’ Nikon feature. When you are in AutoISO you can still set an ISO value with the rear dial. That will set a minimum value for the ISO. That’s pretty handy because you can use that to prevent the camera from falling below the second gain stage
Colour science I like Olympus. Rest takes a little pre planning and setup but them colours and pro glass. Not used the OM so can't say how it's changed. BTW, looking good in that SloMo shot 👍😂 Thanks for the entertainment.

Minolta had the 1st 'auto-focus' DSLR. The Maxxum. Sony has since purchased Konica/ Minolta and renamed it Alpha. Several of my 35mm Minolta lenses worked on my old Sony Alpha 200 > my 1st Digital DSLR.
I believe they merged, if I remember correctly. Obviously, with SONY being the bigger one, one could also say it absorbed them. Konica Minolta were also the ones that invented IBIS with their DSLRs!
G9ii. I just love the body it is set up so well and balances nicely with the 100-400. A7cr. Insane autofocus and you can crop like crazy. Om5. Small rugged , looks cool. Comes with free sushi for a year.
@cameraconspiracies Thanks for your response. Interesting about the reddish tones.. I like Panasonic colours, but I've just now connected the dots: I am partially colour blind with red!! So, extra red balances out my deficiency! Also, I have large hands, so I like the G9ii body size and weight.. for me, it's perfect. Yes, I agree it's a bit pricey.
@@cameraconspiracies You know the manual focus slow mo is a lie. I have corrected you on this before and you reacted. Somehow you keep repeating it in your videos and comments even though you know better. It must be a memory issue because I also corrected you on the Sony ZV-E1 and A7SIII having a 48MP quad bayer sensor, not 12MP "large pixels". Yet here it is again in your video, the same misinformation.
My favourite 3: 1) Sony ZV E-1 2) Panasonic GH6 for the beautiful colours and cinematic look 3) iPhone 16 Pro because has a 5x zoom and it's better than the Pocket 3 which is the runner up
Hey dude, you really got me interested in that ZV-E1 tbh, but I live somewhere where it's around 30°C/45°C most of the time, and I'm worried about the potential overheating since a lot of people talk about that, what's your experience with that?
I have a bmpcc4k and i am looking to get somethung with autofocus, videography is my specialty but i wouldn't mind lil photography as well, do you think the fuji xt4 is Good enough because i dont have the budget for expensive latest cameras and 4k 60 is important to me
What about the XH2, I think that 4k hq looks amazing. Maybe dr is not that great but I dont think that a low res sensor gives you the best 4k video. Now I am excited about a potential new Fuji camera with a super 35 size sensor like the C70... 8k native res and stacked. And proper caf.
Even if I wasn't into cameras, I love the channel. I am a little late to the party. He usually shows his lovely face in my feed around 7:30. Those factories must be producing something harsh and dangerous. When you switched to the Nikkirboy the Toneh irritation level began to rise.
I like my nikon d700 best, then my panny s1 (though lens line up should get some vintage lenses) and third is the OG x100. It had lots of quirks but the aesthetics and rendering was nice
I'm all Sony and my fav is the FX30 been thinking about the FX3 but I like Super 35 don't ask you all know why its cheaper lenses and just a little crop so yeah! and the NOSIE hey theirs a little thing called light but if I had the money I would go for the FX6 but can't poor who isn't when you love cameras
Well i loved my 5DMark3 and was stunned by the Sony a7III at the time (even with the worst color science in the history of photography) so i guess the 2 are my List...
I'm an adventure cyclist and I bought the S9, pre-owned, because that IBIS looks cell phone like! Would love to see a comparison with your beloved ZVE1.
I'm guessing the Nikon folks weren't concerned about vlogging which explains the wide angle stability issue you mentioned. "...when I used Fuji, magical things happened.." 🙂 The big problem with the ZV-E1 and the Z6 III is the price. I could never afford them. I now have an X-T3 and have thought about a used X-T4, but I'm afraid most of them were probably used very hard given the probable video use. So, the sensor most likely has a lot of hours of use on it when compared to my used X-T3 at the time I bought it(January 2021). So, if I ever want to "move up" I thinking an X-S20 might be the sweet spot. I just wish it had WR because I do lots of hiking with my camera. 2 card slots would have been nice too. Wondering if that little pond is a bit dangerous. Looks like a power plant on the other side. Why did you go back to being grounded? You've been wearing the sandals lately. As always, great content. Maybe I’m blind, but I prefer Sony zv e1 color science than Nikon. I love the zv e1 And always happy with it. Used to have Fuji, which has the best colors in the world, but after the last update the autofocus was simply unusable. I own a Leica, which, to my absolute shock, doesn’t have nice colors straight out of camera. Sony is good enough on color, and perfect on everything else. Zv e1 all the way
Some of that XT-4 footage is weird to me. The scenes at the late are ridiculously odd, it looks like there's a screen with the background on it behind you, instead of you actually being there
I'll give you a secret, Sony ZVE1 + dynamic stabe + 16-50 pz ii = lightest weight, every day vlogging setup. Yes, I mentioned an APS-C lens, and use it in Full frame mode, and unless you do something crazy like the running stuff, there's no vignetting. 16-50 v1 does not work, but 16-50 vii does for some reason, the ibis + oss + newness combination stabe.

The whole time you were talking I bet you were thinking about how good the grass feels on your feet.
I like a couple of the newer Fuji film simulations. I’ve posted a picture…. Online and had Canon shooters impressed.
This one looks really nice. Did you use Slog3 or just the Standard profile?
Just curious.. what were your objections to the Panasonic G9ii?
Manual focus only slow mo. Weight and price for m4/3. Over saturated reds.
I actually like them pig skin tones
@@DiversionScience I'm talking about 180fps like we talked about in the original message. It also has a major crop.
damn I recognized that spot instantly, I dock there at the turning basin all the time on the boats I work on
the ZVE1 has a 48 megapixel sensor with quad nayer to 12mp
Good morning, always look forward to your content.
Blackmagic 6K, S1/S1H, Z6III/Z8/Z9 : image quality, details processing (internal video recording).
NX1,GH6 : colors.
G9II/GH7 : IBIS.
Fuji look is AWESOME.
ha ha ha that white card bit fucking killed me man. Great work!
Thanks!
My favourite 3: 1) Sony ZV E-1 2) Panasonic GH6 for the beautiful colours and cinematic look 3) iPhone 16 Pro because has a 5x zoom and it's better than the Pocket 3 which is the runner up
Thank you!
I would love a really small Nikon. Something XT30 or XE4 small. I don't like big cameras.
Or maybe a Fuji with usable autofocus.
Hey dude, you really got me interested in that ZV-E1 tbh, but I live somewhere where it's around 30°C/45°C most of the time, and I'm worried about the potential overheating since a lot of people talk about that, what's your experience with that?
I've recorded in direct sun 30+ degrees, 4k 24p for an hour with no overheating. Your mileage may vary.
@@cameraconspiracies thank you !
6:25 toneh lake jumpscare 😂 i know it's October but gimme a warming🙃
I have a bmpcc4k and i am looking to get somethung with autofocus, videography is my specialty but i wouldn't mind lil photography as well, do you think the fuji xt4 is Good enough because i dont have the budget for expensive latest cameras and 4k 60 is important to me
For me is the Sigma Merill DP 2 From 2012 ;)
I owned the xt-4 and I've had the zv-e1 for over a year and If the two had a baby I would be in heaven
fuji is absolutely trash, worst camera i’ve ever owned, only positive i can say is maybe the colors, which were ok, but everything else was trash.
and im not the only one with this opinion, used market is full of new fuji cameras, people desperately trying to get rid of them.
@@Archonsx Yet you are the only one responding to your comment....well proven.
What about the XH2, I think that 4k hq looks amazing. Maybe dr is not that great but I dont think that a low res sensor gives you the best 4k video. Now I am excited about a potential new Fuji camera with a super 35 size sensor like the C70... 8k native res and stacked. And proper caf.
the century egg of cameras
Obviously I don't do what you do but my top 3 would likely be Fuji X-Pro 2, Sony A7iii and Nikon D80 (my first "real" camera).
Can you mount the Zeiss lens on the Z6III with the Sony2NikZ adaptor and check the results?

I’m a scrub . I have 2 canon r7 and a 90d…I love em
Gross, I threw up.
@@cameraconspiracieslol
Im glad that you've mentioned the 5d mark ii. I love this camera
Panasonic S5II to rule them all! 🔥
Truth!
You’re the most honest reviewer. No company its save and you don’t seem to be a fan boy of anything. 👍
He's a German lens fan boy,...... me too.
Algorithm defeated! 5Dii is a pain, but the look! And dirt cheap now on the used market. 6Dii would be an acceptable compromise.
S5II doesn't make the list?
Fuji X-T4…damn straight
I feel like you are speaking to us from some future dystopian Canadian world.
Well i loved my 5DMark3 and was stunned by the Sony a7III at the time (even with the worst color science in the history of photography) so i guess the 2 are my List...
yea you're hilarious I had to sub lmaoooo
Have a great weekend!
XT4 was da goat
I wish Sony and Nikon would merge. Stability at every focal length is possible.
As usual, GENIUS!. ZORK & Sweetie say top 4 cameras… Sony FX30 to someday replace our A7SIII, DJI Pocket 3, Insta360 X6… yes the once that doesn’t exist yet with GOOD wireless mic support… and TOP of list the 2034 NON existent reboot of the ULTIMATE Casio Tryx, the only camera ever with a DOOR KNOB mount. Who needs a tripod when you can just carry around a door to mount a CASIO TRIX on. Look it up… you will order a dozen and dump your A7S3 and Pocket 3. All of that said, we WILL tour & BeerVlog Canada… When we do, PLEASE tell us you will co-star in a BEER VLOG… Your crazily quirky words of wisdom MUST be brought to BeerVlogs. Otherwise the Vonnegut Tralfamadorians will kidnap us all and out us in their zoo. When you co-star do you have a favorite microbrewery with a particular beer with a ridiculous name?

Thank you sir. I have no bitcoin because I sold it all for Matic at $2.50 do you take Matic donations sir
For Matic...lol
Throw that glimmer glass in the bin dammit. 😅 🤣
Nice one.
Yes 💪❤️
S5iix can’t be beat for the price
6:26 thought I was watching a Tony northrup video.
Top 3 cameras of all time: 1. Pentax K1000, 2. Olympus OM-4T, 3. Canon AE-1 (so advanced, it's simple) 😁
Here for the comedy
Sony ZV-E1 AF failed me the other day, and I literally said, "Wow, how did that happen?" I probably had the AF mode set to center and I was rule of thirding and filming through a teleprompter
Canon m5o, Gopro 7, Sony a7s
Where is the lake?
From a technical perspective, I really liked the videos that you made with the G85 or G9i when you came back to Canada.
All time? Leica M, Nikon F, Hasselblad 500C.
Vlogging with one of these cameras? Nice try, wrong use case.
@@ralfjansen9118 Look at the title. For vlogging, it's obviously the iPhone.
Zv e1 all the way
It's more natural. Nikon's are over processed in camera
S5ii, ZVE-1 and R8 All good value cameras for what you get! Nice Video!
Some of that XT-4 footage is weird to me. The scenes at the late are ridiculously odd, it looks like there's a screen with the background on it behind you, instead of you actually being there
14:45 Boom boom bam, yip! Fuji magic, you beauty...
"Show us the lake Tony!"
I have R5. Great colors.
I still think the A6000 was a nifty camera even after having the A1
Panasonic GX7 for the win :-)
I'll give you a secret, Sony ZVE1 + dynamic stabe + 16-50 pz ii = lightest weight, every day vlogging setup. Yes, I mentioned an APS-C lens, and use it in Full frame mode, and unless you do something crazy like the running stuff, there's no vignetting. 16-50 v1 does not work, but 16-50 vii does for some reason, the ibis + oss + newness combination stabe.
You don't like good things.
Sony also has trouble with water surfaces. Crazy colors that don’t exist in water reflections.
