    I guess it might be a project for down the road considering there’s a bullet backlog, but I’d still love to see you test some muzzleloader bullets. Nobody is testing low velocity performance and there is a lot of need in the space to see what actually performs. It’s great to keep testing all these cool cutting edge bullets, but many quality performers have been identified at this point. The same can’t be said for muzzleloader projectiles. Anyways, glad to see you’re planning to get back to testing, the videos are great.
    One last suggestion, consider putting a black piece of cloth or some other dark material on the side of the gel opposite the camera. Tools & Targets does that and it helps with the visibility of the wound tracks.

    Powershok copper test would be interesting. I used them on deer and seem to work good. Look forward to your vids

    Nice! I’m interested to hear about those badlands terminal performance too, let us know.
    Cool idea about the .277 Wolverine barrel.
    I hear ya about having the stuff but not having the time haha. I need to just bite the bullet and get making some gelatin blocks of my own.
    If I do some bullets I’d love to test in gel are the 257 Cals (.257 weatherby), 8mm (8x57), and .358s (.358 Norma). Not a lot of videos out there about these less popular bore diameter bullets.

      Merry Christmas. Other than life being too busy to have any time for the TH-cam channel, things are great. Hope things are going well for you, too.

    Hey bud... wondering if you had recommendations on whitetail buttet out of a 6.5 grendel... 100-130 grain that'll expand fast & open up at 1800fps ... for my kids build im working on with 16 inch barrel

    • @simplemindedfella
      @simplemindedfella  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I use the 120 and 123 grain ELD-X and ELD-M'S for whitetail doe management out of my Grendel, and they work well for me.
      My buddy's daughter took a heck of a nice mule deer buck with my rifle and load one year. Place the shot, right, and a Grendel does not move them fast enough to grenade the bullet, so it works fairly well.

    Hi, I've been studying all you videos for a long time. But I haven't been able to find your testing on the Swift A-Frame. If you haven't tested it, I think it would turn out to being a very good bullet for deep penetration on very large game, like Grizzly Bear. I hope you get back to testing again soon. Be safe!

    • @simplemindedfella
      @simplemindedfella  ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't got my hands on any A-Frame's yet. They are a good bullet very comparable to Nosler Partitions. Definitely one I want to get tested and recorded for the channel.

      @@simplemindedfella A quick look at the Swift web sight shows they do have .30 200gr. I didn't look further because because almost all cals are sold out. Pricey.

      @@simplemindedfella A quick look at Midway USA shows they a few different cal A-Frames in stock.
