This is incredible. Well done. I know the area your modeling well and knew the road straight away. Your intro took me back from when i was a child being driven into exeter. My face was always glued to the window as we passed riverside and the crossing always very eager to see a trian. I've subscribed. Looking forward to the next one.

Another masterpiece, fantastic to watch. So many marginally different variations in vegetation and dirt/earth/ballast. The road is the best I've seen. The concrete panel fencing is very effective.
I've always wondered why the English Electric engine sounds specifically are so magnetic to British modellers and railway enthusiasts, reminds me of a male lion.
Outstanding modelling and a benchmark for the hobby.

Loops were finally finished today and the big test of 12 lanes of fiddle yard and full intense track cleaning should be done over the next couple of days.

Itching to start the process on the moving house, hopefully it should be underway around June so a good few more moths of watching exeter develop for now.
The spacing of the arches is very unusual, an interesting scene. Is the real bridge like that? Something that might look quite convincing down there would be some traffic lights controlling the narrow bit, either temporary ones, or something more permanent. Making them work would add another level of interest.👍😁

Cheers. The layout of the road is identical to the real location and is fairly narrow underneath, enough room for cars to pass but tight for bigger vehicles. The other factors counted in to the detail was one of those buttresses sticking out into the road and that detail captured in model form too. I don't miss a trick, you'd be suprised how many images I've got! I know the area around exeter better than my own back garden and I don't live in Exeter 😆
The buttresses are slightly wider on mine and this was done to allow for near realistic length of the full bridge, I have an image of a class 50 passing over the real thing and scaled up from that image. I can't share alot of the images I have to compare due to copyright.

I walk under this bridge every day on my way to and from work and climb Peep Lane steps, doesn’t look much different today. 👍

Just come across your channel and enjoyed. Will look back on some of your previous editions as I have been recommended them for weathering etc. A very old friend used to live in a row of cottages by a railway bridge on Bonhay Road - guessing this is the location!?
