Great video..informative. I have a Model 3 L/R on order and trying to absorb all these features before I receive it, but I know there's still going to be a substantial learning curve from a traditional vehicle.
You can disengage auto-headlights after you engage fsd. Just push turn signal stalk forward like you're turning on/off high beams. Will definitely turn off auto-headlights.

Hey Chris, I just got a Model Y LR about a month ago and was wondering if there's a place to submit recommendations to Tesla? You know how it shows your car when you place it in park on the screen, and you can click Frunk, Trunk, Charging port and Lock/Unlock? I wish they could add an option for the Glove Box between the Frunk and Roof. There are a number of times I'd try to get to the glove box, and think if someone gets in an accident or pulled over by the police... you might be a bit frazzled and don't want to step through the process or use the voice option? Just seems like there's room to add it, and since the item exists already it's just a shortcut update to the main (just parked) car screen. Love your videos, glad I found your channel!

last item you talked about was the ability to customize your paint color. I have only seen the regular options (blue, black, red, white) how do you access the customized mat colors? I'm guessing I miss understood.
If you have the new software update you’ll find it in the toybox setting. I actually am on fsd beta so I don’t have it yet.
I don’t have a consistent schedule every day since I work from home a lot. If I want to precondition the battery in cold weather would I just select the closest departure time on the schedule through the app?

I have a M3 MIC due end of March and can't wait. One thing has puzzled me about the navigation - many commentators, like yourself, talk about setting Home and Work and use navigation to go between the two. But this is something you do every day for months or years - why would you need navigation? Most of could do it blindfolded.
Not in la traffic. One minute ir takes 10 minutes to get home the next an hour haha
I think you need to have navigation destination to enable autopilot if that’s something you plan on using.
I will also get my MIC Tesla in March! I think navigating home or to work makes a lot more sense in a Tesla than in most older cars. Firstly, from what I understand, they use real life data (probably from google) to show you how long it will take and if there are any queues. Secondly, if you are somewhere and driving home, the navgiation will tell you if you will make it without charging, how long you have to charge and how many percent battery you will have when you come home. Tesla also uses the weather, elevation and so forth to determine the range, so I will use the navigation to get home a lot more often than before.

Hmm not sure. I know the performance led has matrix leds that allow for that
I live in Fremont (where the Tesla plant is) and my model 3 performance originally said it would be here in March when I placed my order 2 weeks ago. I checked today and it now says May or June :(. Possible it arrives earlier?
Probably not but call the sales center every few days as people cancel orders or reject deliveries! That’s what my friend did and got his a month earlier

we ordered a Model 3 LR on Jan 6th and have our delivery date confirmed from the dealership for March 4th, so just about 2 months.. We are hoping to get the new Ryzen processor in the Model 3.
You most definitely will have it plus the battery, friend just got theirs a week ago and it has those two plus upgraded interior cameras!
@@EverydayChris We got the Model 3 this morning(2 days early) and it does have the new Ryzen processor, but how can I tell for sure if it has the new battery in it?? I was able to find the Ryzen processor in the info of the car, but I am not sure where I can go to see what batteries were used in our Model 3? We had a great time looking it over and will do more tomorrow.

The navigation is a great disappointment for me. Waze works much much better. Wrong directions, unclear guide instructions, unclear display in tight junctions, wrong congestion info and so many other isssue 😢
