Hey i notice your pillars and headliner is black, was that because of your M sport package or was that done custom. I hate how my car has 3 different colors with the red interior package againsed black leather with a tan headliner. If theres an easy way to black out the tan or switch pieces over that would be sick
Yup - came from factory only as part of the M-Sport package. It makes a pretty big difference in the feel of the cabin in my opinion and definitely think it looks better black. BMW calls it "anthracite headliner". You can obviously buy the factory parts from BMW but it's gonna be a ton of money. From what I've seen the best way to do it is to take the headliner out and use some sort of fabric spray to change it. But even then you'd also still have to buy the black pillar covers, handles, sunroof trim, sun visors, and probably a couple other pieces. Might have better luck finding a wrecked M-Sport that's being parted out. Tons of info on the forums on it. Jealous that you have the red interior tho - that's always a great look.
@@lifebycars5849 yea just got done doing research. Idk how i didnt notice that is what m sport gave you. Honestly the fact that the headliner isnt black along with the pillars pisses me off so much at this point that i think im dedicated to swapping it. It looks tons better and for my 335 im planning to go all out on this thing in the future. Thanks for the answer btw.
@@lifebycars5849 ahh ok. I’m looking more into the N54 years. I know it’s usually less reliable but I want something I can work on and add a decent amount of power to. Thanks for the videos though they’re very thorough!
Mine still works how it came from the factory. I think you can code it out on some earlier cars but as far as I know it’s not possible on mine. Depends on the year / type of headlight
Sadly, the last ( and best ) GOOD 3 Series, before BMW ruined the amazing steering feel by going to an electric rack. I drove an F30 last week and the steering rack felt lifeless and dull.
Nice car bro ! I like your vid and you look like a genuine guy !!
Thanks! Really appreciate it
Great video! Keep up the good stuff
Really nice and rare seat colour
Am I the only one that isn’t a huge fan carbon fibre interior accents?? To each their own tho

Is it difficult to pop off the steering wheel trim?
Not at all, I also made a separate video showing exactly how to do it

That’s actually sad to hear lol… when a BMW doesn’t feel like a BMW… these are future classics for sure
The new 4 series grilles are sexy!
No amount of mods 😂😂😂
Title says cosmetic mods…
