    Great video. What would be nice would be for Revit to allow text in a line style like AutoCAD does. It would make life easier for systems like compressed air and natural gas.

      Yea it's a little surprising but having the system information inside the pipe and line is so beneficial that I can live with the letters not being an option for line types.

      Thanks for the kind words! I'm actually launching my course this week. Can't wait to offer it to everyone. I'll have some youtube videos as well.

    Great Video, I did as in the example but it didn't work. I need the system type to have a solid. Do you know what could be the reason?

      You might have a filter that is overriding the system graphics. Check your view template or filters and turn any off that might be overriding them.

    Thanks so much! Do you have recommendations of books, videos, courses for someone who's doing small projects? I understand modeling in Revit and the basics of plumbing. I just want to understand more about why designs are drawn one way vs another. Thanks

      You're in luck! I'm working on a plumbing 101 course right now (like tonight). It's exactly the kind of course you're describing. The plumbing design will be on a fitness center so it covers all the relevant things you'll need for most small projects. Should be available next week! But the best book I know is engineered plumbing design 2.

    Can i request a tutorial inserting multiple level architecture, that can enable floor level in PLUMBING AND waste, i tried to copy but still not showing..

    • @mep_guy
      @mep_guy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sure that's what I'm here for! I'm not quite understanding what you are referring to. I think you are wanting to see plumbing below the floor?

    • @thadyjuinio9916

      @@mep_guy what i mean is the default level when u insert a revit link in MEP plumbing is just 2 level floor, how can i add the floors base on architectural link file which let says 4 or 8 storey..

    • @mep_guy
      @mep_guy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thadyjuinio9916 ahh yes. What I'd recommend is creating another plumbing template project that has like 10 floors in it already (or more depending on your typical jobs). When you link it your arch file you'll at least already have most of the levels and you can simply just delete the ones you don't need. You'll still have to set the elevations of the levels to match the arch file. There are a couple of ways to do that. You'll probably want to copy monitor them.

      @@mep_guy it seems easy for u hahaha, hope u find time to make some tutorial to that but no rush.. thank u for all the best MEP tutorial.. i always watching your new tutorial.

      @@thadyjuinio9916 yea I hope to do a whole series on creating template files for MEP. But yes that's a ways away. But I'll keep that video idea in mind and try to post it sooner.
