I got myself a Switch and ebaseball 2022 (jp version) and I've only grinded MyLife even though Eikan is my fav mode. Game is so deep and fun to play. Seeing them release this english test version gets my hopes up for a full release! On another note, will there be an Eikan or Success/MyLife series on the channel in the forseeable future? (I suppose at least for now you're gonna capitalize on this english release and guide vids)
Also, if anyone reading is considering getting Ebaseball 2022 on the Switch be aware of the fact that joystick sensibility is crazy high playing with joycons (I switched to claw grip for better precision) so you'll have to either change your grip or buy a pro controller.

How do I use base teams in this game? If I go to any mode, all I see is my custom teams, of which there is one haha. Shouldn’t there be a list of already established teams that I can use? Everything feels daunting if I have to spend the majority of my time making teams so I can have a varied experience. Did I miss something somewhere?
@@emmdotfriskjp yeah. This is a great video by the way. Because i only played power pros, i dont know half these players and they seem to have the qualities they had in the games they appeared in. Its helpful to get a quick read on them when choosing them for the team

That’s great to hear! I’d definitely pick up 2007 and 2008 on Wii or PS2 to keep you busy. But the next Pawapuro release will be Pawapuro ‘24 which is most likely to come out April 2024. That would be our best chance for a localized release. Until then I think we have Power Pros WBSC and Pawapuro ‘22
Question have you tried local multiplayer, such as 2 or 4 players on the same screen. What settings do you suggest for the most competitive experience?
@@emmdotfriskjp oh it's definitely fun! I don't quite have the full amount of teams you can create (yet) think I have 32 or 33 teams so far. Not sure if i'll fill every single slot for teams or just leave it as-is.
So I made a team and kept under cost limit, how can I use my custom team in the tournament? I'm still stuck with the base team for Pueto Rico even tho I change that team specifically for the tournament? Is it when u choose team in the start your stuck with that team?
I find playing online is pointless. My pitching when online is like in super slow motion. Not like this against ai. Opponent pitches at lightening speed. Can’t do anything.
Heavily happy to have my favorite game in ENGLISH, but a little bit dissapointed this is NOT a WBC special game (just like Tokyo 2020 Olympics in Power Pros 2020), just a stand-alone "championship" game ; happily, we can play offline :)
Using the “normal” pitching system (and not the press twice) some pitches also flash the “perfect pitch” but I haven’t figured out why that is. Some “perfect pitches” are balls and outside of the strike zone which confuses me.
@@erichu3542 this is likely because of the type of pitch. A normal fastball perfect pitch can miss outside the zone while a fastball+ will always miss inside the zone. Using normal pitching creates a halo around the cursor where the pitch”might go.” So it’s safer to use the normal fastball to avoid a missed pitch that is easy to hit

I had no idea the swing animations were not random and infact helps you read the batter

I have this on ps4, i couldn't get a hang for the controls, so i made a big league of teams and just do CPU vs CPU games lol
That’s pretty fun tho! You can turn it to the beginner setting and it should be much easier!

I bought the Japanese version for the PS Vita a few months ago. I really wish they added this game to the current Vita store.
Yeah they just closed down success special servers on vita so not sure they are going to ever support the console again

Once you submit a team to the tourney you have to use that team so you’ll have to wait til next tournament
