As per IS standard size of brick is 19*9*9
Considering mortar gap it becomes 20cm*10cm*10cm=.2m*.1m*.1m
500*.2*.1*.1=1m³
Therefore for 1m³ brick work we just need 500 bricks

There is a golden rule about stairs: 2xRiser + 1 step = aproximatedly 64 cm. This rule considers the natural step length of an average person and makes it effortless to use.
