Poor Zoroark. One of the best designed cards of the past years but it came at the worst possible time. Well, it could have been miles better if it could keep the cards attached to it after transforming.
I guess without Zoroark Luxray is just better because of the space on the deck, but as an Electrik Pokemon I really like to play the Raichu because you could use it to reuse the Reversal Energy. It doesn`t specify "Basic Energy" so it does work with Reversal.
yooo I've been rocking different versions of this deck for a while now, leaning in really heavily to the weakness/Supereffective Glasses tech. It's taken a huge hit in rotation losing both Raihan and Klara but it's still close to being surprisingly dangerous. I think we're a halfway decent Stage 1 Grass attacker with a 1 or 2 energy attack away from being really strong. I'm not huge on Scovillain as the 3 energy cost is just awkward unless you can force the Reversal Energy. I've tried Scovillian, Vespiquen, and even Yanmega, but they all just lack consistency. I personally prefer the Bib-Skwovet engine as you just need to see so many cards to find the things that you need without the benefit of Raihan. That is me playing a high count of Arven and Iono instead of the Ciphermaniac like shown here so take that into account. I love the different takes on Scizor partners, helps me cook up something. There's nothing better than wiping a Zard deck with the rogue-est of rogue Scizor piles.
You could try adding Radiant Jirachi, although it's harder to set up, since it has 90HP (I use ditto too to basically have 2 jirachis), thanks to escape rope rotating out, people either use a lot of resources to not kill it or just kill it. It let you search for cards, and activates reversal energy.
@XogeiD good idea! I do rely on Rad Zard to hit fire and act as the late game nuke though. Worth checking out. I just looked at the next set and I think either Sunflora or Dipplin is exactly what I need.
@dannik9932 yeah I saw that, the biggest issue is not being able to recover Rad Zard but I'll gladly accept the discard recovery. Dipplin or Sunflora from the next set are the best options that we've had so far. I'm excited for that set

My coping mechanism after Zorobox is using Twilight inspiration Slowbro with Hisuan Zoroark Vstar. I can finally see some use to the new Perrin card, since it is a double pokemon communication, but as a supporter.
You might as well juat play the new "salvador?"which evolves a pokemon with no abilities. You can attack the turn it evolves and its more universal than thorton

Thorton is one of the underrated supporters in the format, and also will be the out of rotation next year. Scizor ex is one of the cards that i often use in ranked games alongside itemlock
I won the last pre-rotation local tournament with my zoro box. The first post rotation tournament is tomorrow and I do believe slowbro will be making a return...
Yeah not much reason other than to use gallade to search for the supports, I would change it for the dudunsparce engine seems like it would be better than kirlia.
Your ancient box opponent way under valued koraidon as an attacker. I see alot of people do that but it's perfect in matchups like what you were playing and for the first hit of a two shot
It sucks that one cannot copy a decklist from the opponent because just yesterday a Gardevoir Drifloon deck had my Charizard run for money. It was very consistent in its actions, but a top deck Lost Vacuum disconnected its heavily damaged Drifloon and Boss pull out the Gardie for a 3 prize turn. This list would have been helpful, as I love Gardevoir.

It's so much worse, Zorobox was my main before rotation, I had positive matchups against most decks ☹️ feels bad having to run so many different lines

Fishing Girl is coming! She is a rod to your hand and will be great for single-prize decks. So will survival cast.
