One day we will get another common legendary that isn't red/background for pauper commander

@@laeclorentzen6111I know that, but for a purest pauper commander player, your options are just red or 2 color parings if you still want to stick with legendary creatures

Watching these two play and break down their thought process genuinely helps me play better on the rare occasions I'm in tournaments.
Me too. I also recommend the coverage following Reid Duke in GP Richmond. You can hear the players and they interview Reid after every match.

I have to admit, I have never played Magic, except once with a friend as a "training match", because he tried to get me into magic, but I still watched this video, and I kinda like it, even though I have almost no experience.
So, you know, keep it up, you're even getting people who don't understand magic to watch you.

Mengucci is a lot of fun and I'd love to see him come back. Maybe not every video, but that's because I like everyone else too! I'd love to see more pauper. Maybe a budget build off? Who can brew the best deck with €35?

Love it guys!! I play this same kudoltha burn deck I foiled mine out and it’s special to me, being my first pauper deck, now we are playing one night a week in a friendly tournament 4 or 5 of us and it’s been a blast I love the format!! 🔥❤️
It's a good choice of deck to foil out! I doubt it'll stop being strong any time soon 💪

Yes but thoralf spent so long doing his "Interview" section after casting the reckless impulse that they both forgot about the first trigger 😅
Still crazy to me that y’all do interview segments midgame. Makes for a great production though - love hearing players’ thoughts mid-match. I’d always assumed you just had them talk about the match after the fact lol

I actually ended up ordering this build of gates for pauper and I've been having a lot of fun with it! Although a friend and I talked a bit and we decided to move the honor guards to the sideboard and drop one prismatic strand and the suffocating fumes in favor of 2 bonesplitter and 2 Seraph of Dawn. Bonesplitter makes the cats headaches to deal with if you get them early, and the 2/4 flying/lifelink Seraph has swung more games than you'd think. Great video guys!

Mengu, if you "fail to find" with Squadron Hawk, you still need to shuffle your library. But since the Hawk ability is a 'may' ability, you can choose not to search at all.
Choosing not to search =/= failing to find.
