I agree there are times it’s ok, but even then within limits. Because you can run it don’t mean we want to hear it 1,000 times the words are important, if your leading praise and worship talking the people to the Holy of Holly you need their hearts prepared not eyes on the singer with their hands on their hip waving their handkerchief saying Girl Sit down! You did that.! You thinking they’re wanting more. Nope ! They want you to really sit down they missed the holy bus to see Jesus. Their more fleshed out and pissed lol. Keeping the runs to the batter is good
She did a great job👏🏾! She was in full control…gave what needed to be gave! Didn’t over do parts….the build up, the range…the soulfulness of it👌🏾. She always sings from her soul in such a way it penetrates your soul! I love Fantasia & always have since idol. I’m always rooting for her….she still has my vote! I’m so here for her winning season & what God is doing in her life! It’s her time to fully reap the reward she deserves!
I enjoy how he analyzes every singer and breaks down every inflection in their voices. He has such an amazing ear for music. Fantasia is such a talented artist. I'm liking the attention that she has been getting lately.
All she did was make a choice to audition that day.....took a chance on herself, looked around, and said I'm better than this. And now look a her, a complete package of talent, that noo one understood she had.

Your understanding of the variances of tones and pitches is next level. Your contribution to the future is much more than any accomplishments as a possible, quote on quote artist. Matter of fact, you are one of the top artists in your chosen musical realm. You reminds me of my grandfather, not training in the theory of music, yet won church choir contest in Barbados, teaching music to the choir, using do, re, me method. He could hit true notes without an instrument. You are amazing to watch and listen to.

Fantasia is a national treasure, none of her pairs are on her level when it comes to singing from the depth of your stomach, with the exception of J. Hud, Mariah, and maybe two others. Great analysis! Fantasia killed it and showcased her talent. The National Anthem is the one song I use to critique vocals, no matter the singer's style.
I enjoyed Fantasia's rendition. She sung it pretty straight and she held back just enough. Fantasia is without a doubt one of the best singers alive. Her voice is very distinct and she sounded rather fresh considering how she sometimes growls but her tone was clearer and brighter but still unmistakably Fantasia. I think she should record the National Anthem like Whitney... and do it with an orchestra. She was correct in her final phrase. Land of the free and the home of the brave is one sentence and should have some sort of connection. Musically the tradition is to sit on the free but it sounds nice as one statement. Fantasia understands phrasing better than not only most singers, but most instrumentalists as well
