Great recap. Can you explain why you would even bother with running again until you have the strength and range of motion at least a lot nearer to 'fixed'? I would have thought that running with an unnatural (for you) gait could lead to all manner of other issues.
Good afternoon David, thank you for reaching out! My strength and range of motion is pretty good and I am confident enough where I am at in my recovery to run. I knew going in to trying to run for the first time it would feel a bit off but with more time and reps it is more of a natural motion now.
Each injury is different and my surgeon was very open to my rehab due to my profession and the research that I did to help with my protocol. As long as you are recovering nicely and loading your tendons you will be good! Just keep going!

Wow you were really aggressive. My surgeon and PT are very conservative. It may have something to do with my age(63).
