Thank you, Mareno of Blackenstein! Your guide nails the procedure. There are a lot of near-miss videos claiming to show you how to get the headlight assembly out of a CTS-V, but they are either showing just a CTS, are doing it on a four-point lift, or some other form impractical nonsense. You have nailed it. Doable and sensible video. I changed the driver's side lo/hi xenon HID bulb on my 2014 CTS-V using TorchBeam xenon HID D1S @ $40/pr. Dealer price is $172.38 per bulb! Peace and Happy Holidays.
Hey Bro, I’ve looked at several of your vids (nice C) but I’m trying to figure out what puddle lights you’re using? I’ve looked everywhere for Gen II, CTS door puddle/ghost lights but can’t find any that list fitting the CTS and all the ones I see are slightly too big and have other model and newer style connectors.
none of them will fit. They claim its for our CTS but none of them are. I had to modify my door panel to fit it in there. I used a Dremel to shave off enough plastic from the door panel until I was able to snap it in place. Took about 3 minute per door.
May I know where can I get the black front bumper grille with the new Cadillac emblem? Also did you change the rear emblem as well? Will it work on CTS-V Coupe? Thanks in advanced.
The grills came with the aftermarket CTSV front bumper I purchased on EBay. Yes I changed the rear emblem to a 2020 emblem, although I had to bend it with heat to contour to our trunk shape. Yep, it will 100% work on the V.
Hey buddy I was wondering did your coupe come with AFL? Mine is. If so does it matter if you change the assembly to a holgen and use LED bulbs? I heard that you will have a AFL service warning light stay on however. You have any info on that. These AFL assemblies are like a grand.
